    Shrimp & Grits/polenta

Absolutely amazing! A local little gem! So many unique twists on their menu. They have daily specials too. I had to try their unique take on Shrimp & Grits, which was well seasoned shrimp with sauce, veggies over polenta. The appetizer we chose was fabulous...crab tostada. And the fish sandwich was fresh and delicious. The service is so personalized you feel like family, and the lovely patio is also pet friendly. Wonderfully relaxed vibe with upscale menu choices! You can't ask for better than that

The scampi was plain but the curry was phenomenal and the outdoor seating was lovely! Server was young and didn't know the menu or drinks well, but attentive and kind.

We sat outside because we had our pup. Water bowls and cold water provided for pets. Food was ok; not great but not bad either. Service and waiter was great and very helpful.

Had a great meal at the Boro restaurant. We walked in off the boat and were able to be seated immediately outside in the courtyard. Our server, Ethan, was fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers and meals. The calamari was delicious the breading was crispy but not too heavy and the chargrilled pineapples were amazing with it. The Philly cheesesteak rolls were excellent and our party enjoyed the crab dip. The burgers were a fan favorite. Us Pittsburgh folk's were happy to see Heinz ketchup. We enjoyed the fried shrimp and shrimp curry dish! Would definitely recommend. Bonus....we could hear some live music from down the street....apparently the streets are closed off for Sunday Funday.

Decent food nothing crazy. Inside is very very loud when there's a lot of people there...

Boro is a waterfront location with heated outdoor seating and a fun dog menu for the pups that tag along. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful, recognizing we were cold and bringing tea options and telling us about the potato and leek soup of the day. The Icehouse Grandwich was huge and flaky to the point of falling apart. I was also a big fan of the beet salad, the butternut squash and goat cheese balanced the beets very well.

This is a great place for seafood and pasta along the water. They have a nice outdoor patio space and indoor space for the bad weather days. The potato and leek soup was a great starter on a cold day. The best salad was great, if you like beats would recommend! The grouper sandwich was good with the side of fries, with a generous piece of fish with tartar sauce was great. Service was good even though we were outside though it was a little chilly and they don't have many outside heaters. They also have a dog menu if you want to bring your dog, you can sit outside with them.

I've now been here 4 times. Each time, it was clean and the noise wasn't bad at all. The food was great once again. Hot, fresh, seasoned. It hasn't failed me yet. The service has always been wonderful. We've had a different server each time. This is the first place that has been consistent each time. I'm moving soon but when I come back to visit this will be my first stop.

Shrimp and Grits the best on the planet

This place is fantastic! I had the Shrimp and Grits and the server, who was phenomenal, said it would be the best I've ever eaten. He was right on the money. These were amazing and was in fact the best I've ever had. The other three at my table had similar experiences as the food across the board was terrific. We sat outside under an umbrella and though it was warm the breeze off the water was phenomenal. Can't say enough about the waiter, he was great.

The bartender was busy working and singing in between taking orders as she prepared drinks for customers. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and offered the specials before we placed our order. We love to sample the menu when we travel and the vast menu of tapas gave us the perfect opportunity to try just about everything. They had a smaller wine selection, but there was something for just about everyone. Our waiter was very attentive and offered suggestions on what to try if we were torn between several menu options. The Spanish lamb meatballs, truffle honey pork belly and rosemary beef were the tapas that stood out as the most flavorful and making us each want just one more bite. The Spanish meatballs were glazed with sriracha which caused me to pause before ordering. However, I'm so happy that we gave them a try. They had a bold flavor, but the whipped feta and cilantro were enough to balance the heat. The truffle honey pork belly was sliced differently. We have only had this cut into cubes at other restaurants in the past. The way that they slice the pork belly is so much better. The pork belly was served with cheese grits. We don't even like cheese grits, but could not get enough of these smoked Gouda grits. The rosemary beef with asparagus and mashed potatoes was perfect. The beef was tender, the asparagus cooked to perfection and who doesn't love mashed potatoes. We visit the crystal coast about twice a year and always try a couple of new places. We look forward to coming back to Circa 81 each time that we visit!

They have inside where we ate and outside dining options. One issue that we experienced was that some people eating outside were bothered by the bar next door whose smoking patio was nearby. But to the important part, the food. My wife and I had an app, fried pimento cheese pucks in sweet chili sauce. One suggestion for them, instead of two pucks maybe make like 6 balls like Dunkin' munchkins. The delicious crispy outside might go better with the softer pimento cheese but they were wonderful! Onto a small plate of some of the freshest seared tuna I've ever had over a bed of sobu noodles. Then it was the sea and shore large plate of a petit filet and our choice of scallops over some Gouda mashed potatoes. Sumptuous. Thank you Chefs!

Beautiful, jazzy, Art Deco space. They had wonderful cocktails to choose from, cold draft beers, a big wine list, and very interesting food. We shared a bottle of Whites Bay Sauvignon Blanc. We mentioned to the waitress that it could have been a touch colder (we like it icy) and after pouring us a small glass each she took it back to the blast chiller to cool it down more. It came back cooler and we put it on ice at the table. One of our favorite ways of eating sharing small plates. We started with a dozen oysters (6 from NC and 6 from SC). They were very good and the sauces that came with them were a nice compliment. Next was a nice arugula salad with some goat cheese. It was perfect for the 2 of us. Then came the "mains". We had Octopus with polenta. Not tough or chewy and the polenta was a nice compliment. Mussels in a nice white whine sauce were nice an garlicky and the bread that came with for sopping up the broth was perfect. Final "main" was beef tartare with a marrow bone. My partner does not like marrow so it was all mine and it was spectacular. Finished the night with a mini creme brulee that we shared. It was served in a little demi cup and it was just the right size bite. Our table was on the 2nd floor and it was a great atmosphere. Even though it was full, the room was not too loud that we couldn't have a nice conversation. Here is the best part. Our server, Nikki, was one of the best we have had at any restaurant. A little personality, just attentive enough and brought out our dishes just as we had asked them to come out. Couldn't ask for any better. Was our experience cheap? The wedge salads is beyond comprehension how good it is. The bread is transcendent. I got the dry aged steak and my wife got the wagyu. Both were true to definition fine dining. My wife insisted on the truffle fries as a shareable side and by gosh they were the best fries ever had...that being said...wagyu 5oz is $130. You aren't going wrong here. We were greeted quickly upon arriving into Liliana's Colombian Restaurant and Bakery by an older gentleman, you could tell he has pride in this restaurant the way he spoke and helped with everything. The food, we order tostones for an appetizer. They were crispy, light, and simple. Could've used a bit of salt personally but the garlic sauce they came with really made up for it. So good! The steak had a ton of flavor, and the yellow rice was solid, though my family actually liked the white rice better overall. We ordered a mix of plates with yellow rice and fries, others with white rice and tostones. I went with the arroz con pollo (classic choice), and my youngest had the chicken nuggets and fries. Only downside: my meal came out about 10 minutes after everyone else's, which was a little frustrating but not warrant for complaints. Our waiter was really sweet, a tad slow checking in sometimes, but he was super accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. He even got honey on the side for my kiddos nuggets. Odd request but it's a thing. A big surprise but we got a free choice of a pastry at the end, which was really nice. My kids picked flan and said it was light, firm, but still creamy. Not too mushy. In the end the vibe is very family friendly. They play Latin music in the background, but it's quiet and chill, easy to drown out and still enjoy. I would love to see this place flourish, I know they deserve it, there's a lot of love put into this place. If we're ever in town again, we'll be back.
