I got the Will-a-dilla ($16) which is a 3 cheese quesadilla loaded with blackened chicken, bacon bits & jalapeno; side of pico, guacamole, cilantro lime sour cream & shredded lettuce. It was good but not enough jalapenos for me. I got fruit for my side which is $2 extra and a zero coke. My friends got a wrap and the other a shrimp burger. What a delicious lunch! The waitress was very attentive but not overly...I split the Corner Burger with Steak Fries and it was so good I forgot to get a picture until I was down to the last bite! The steak fries were very big and my husband loved them, I prefer a thinner fry, they were good though! I also ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were sooo good. I love roasted brussel sprouts. Great selection of cocktails and mocktails. Originally we went to the Back Bar and then learned it opens at 4pm. Oh my gosh, I had the Prime Rib sandwich and it was fantastic! Shaved thin, melted cheese on top, caramelized onions and they even had gluten free buns. I had a small salad as my side and the waiter even remembered not to put the croutons on it without me asking. Now that was someone paying attention. It wasn't real crowded at 1pm but quite a few tables had patrons and the bar had a few people. It wasn't noisy at all. My companion said his Rueben was good also. Overall, the food was tasty. Parts of the rice of the risotto was a little undercooked but the swordfish was cooked to perfection and was much bigger than expected! The shrimp gumbo was very flavorful but maybe just a tad bit salty for my taste. Fiancé loved it though! Fiancé and future mom-in-law ordered the upside down pineapple cake martini. It was okay. This place is clean, bright & you just get a happy vibe visiting! The back bar is a fun place especially when there is live music. Wednesday is open mic nite. The menu changes seasonally. I have my favorites! The French Onion soup is nearly a meal itself! There is a wide variety from seafood to pork Chops to large Cobb salad. Oh & they have homemade desserts that are always fresh! Went here for the first time today. Was greeted by very nice hostess and shown a quiet table where I could observe the room. Ordered their 2 eggs meal that comes with toast, side and meat. Declined the meat and asked for home fries. The mimosa and unsweet tea came out first and I was able to enjoy those. Food came and it was 50/50...tried the home fries and they were overdone and cold. The eggs were delish and perfect, toast was good. Hash browns were not eaten. My server did notice they were not up to par and removed them. She did mention they didn't look great when she brought the meal, but didn't send it back for change. She did remove the cost after the fact which I appreciated. I'm not sure if it was just an off night or a new waitress, but our experience left a lot to be desired. We began by ordering a Coke and a Diet Coke--only to be served two Diet Cokes. After a 10‑minute wait before our order was taken, the appetizer arrived promptly. However, I'd caution against ordering the New England clam chowder; it was oddly filled with chunks of meat and an overwhelming amount of corn. While my wife's salad and cocktail were decent, our main courses were problematic. It took nearly 30 minutes before we even mentioned that my BLT hadn't arrived--especially puzzling since another table that arrived after us, as well as a party of eight nearby, were already receiving their meals. When my BLT and steak fries finally did come, the steak fries were essentially just a single potato crudely sliced into eight pieces, and the BLT was overpowered by turkey that tasted more like processed Oscar Mayer than real turkey. Overall, it seemed like a particularly bad night--not just for us, but for several other customers as well. We came here for breakfast on Friday, and there were several other tables but it was nowhere close to busy. This was around 8:45am. Service was quick but our server was extremely friendly! The restaurant is very clean, and the bar looked recently updated and well maintained. We both had coffee - it is really good coffee, and the (real) mugs are thick and warm! I ordered the eggs Benedict Florentine (with home fries), and my husband had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. We enjoyed our breakfast so much, we might go back tomorrow. read more

I have done two reviews for this place from when it was another name. It is now Preston's and I enjoyed it more than I had before. Still a 3.5 more than a 4 but better. My main gripe about this place is the decor. The main dining room is just horrendous. The lighting is so bright and it doesn't make sense. They need an absolute renovation and reconsideration of how they use this space . I ate at the back bar tonight and it was so much nicer. It was comfortable, and still way nicer than in dining room. The bartender/ server was nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was so bad I couldn't drink it. I don't think that has ever happened. I asked what the fresh catch was and she said they didn't have one (probably cause it's cold) . Interesting. I went with the ahi tuna appetizer for $12.00. It was a huge portion and actually really good. I thought the price was unbelievable. I also ordered a cup of crab bisque which was full of crab was barely warm. I just asked for it to go so I could heat it up at home. I did like that you could get any meal grilled or fried for under $30.00. That also had plenty of sides. If only they would redecorate and maybe add some oysters on the half shell and some unique things- it would be so much better. read more

We visited Preston's Corner with a large party of 22 after our daughter's play--at 8:30 PM, no less--and we were blown away. Cody was our server, and he was absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, patient, on top of every detail, and handled our big group with total ease. It's rare to see that level of service, especially so late in the evening. The food was incredible. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. From appetizers to desserts, not a single complaint from anyone in our group--which says a lot! You could feel the care in both the preparation and presentation. We were honestly amazed by how nice the entire experience was. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff was kind, and we felt like we were truly being taken care of. Preston's Corner has officially become a family favorite, and we're already talking about when we can come back. We stopped in here for dinner on our last night on vacation. Couple of things to note: 1. Parking is very limited in this area of town. The streets are narrow and crowded. however, just up the road is some public parking and it is a short walk to the main area which include this restaurant. 2. They do not take reservations. 3. They are short staffed, which is what we observed at every location we went to on our vacation. Everyone is either trying to hire, training people, or just don't have staff. So... they can only seat so many people even though they look like they have a lot of empty tables.. The food was quite good here. My wife had crab cakes and I had blackened Mahi Mahi. They have a pretty good menu with variety but not as large and overwhelming as some places. They also do some daily specials on drinks and food. It is not an overly fancy place and the prices were reasonable considering the location. We would go back for sure. read more

I can tell they have different burgers than in the past (seems like they switched to frozen), either way they are not what they used to be.
