Aside from the fear of having your card details stolen, every time we place a mobile order for future pickup (~1 hour), they start making the order immediately and then just leave it on the to-go shelf to get cold until you show up. We love the breakfast menu and enjoy their usual menu. I mean can you beat their $5 breakfast box that comes with a tasty grilled breakfast wrap, a hash brown, 2 Cinnabon Delights, AND a drink?! Have had good experiences every time we have ordered in the drive thru. Service friendly, honest, and prompt. During the pandemic it was hit and miss when they would first open but lately it's been consistent. This is one of the few fast food restaurants we care to visit in the area when we haven't had much luck at other places with the spotty service, poor food quality, and/or high prices. This is possibly one of the most careless fast food restaurants I've ever been to. Every single time I go through the drive thru (I started going in the summer of '20), something is either missing or made incorrectly. I don't know why I continue returning, probably simply from the location and being close - but the service here is utterly unacceptable. Example: I'm currently back in the drive thru line to get an item they forgot to put in my bag. My order hasn't been expedited. I wasn't told to just pull around into the parking lot and they'd bring it out to me. No no no. Instead, I am waiting in line again (it's been 10 minutes so far) to simply get something they already messed up. They asked me if I wanted hot sauce to which I said yes, and then there wasn't even any of that in my bag to boot. For the record, I was not refunded anything. Moral of the story, avoid this Taco Bell unless you have the munchiest of munchies - it isn't worth the pain and heartache of an incorrect order. Go across the street to Qdoba if possible. Not a good location, I'm always on the fence on if I should go again when I'm feeling like quick mexican food. This location is by a closed falling down gas station and its atmosphere matches that. It's never busy or looks open. The food is always subpar and leaves you feeling like why'd I try it again, I'm assuming it just stays in business out of convenience... right off of highway 65. Today I got a soft potato taco and paid extra for sour cream and threw it all away bc the potatoes were so hard they were like eating rocks. Even though we live directly across the street, we have not eaten at the Taco Bell in Whitestown, Indiana for quite some time. This store is frequently closed during "store hours" due to staffing issues and the food is inconsistent. Today, we dealt with a couple more issues than normal. The young high school/college aged male employee imitated my small voice as I ordered, answering me in a tone similar to mine. When my stepson and I pulled up to the window, the young male employee opened the drive-thru window laughing hysterically - to the point where he could barely talk to us. Once he gained his composure, he spoke in his normal voice. We ordered: 2 Regular Watermelon Freezes #9 Combo 2 Cheesy Rollups 1 Mexican Pizza The Mexican Pizza was NOT included in our drive thru order ($3.69+tax). Then, the more that my 15 year old stepson and I discussed the transaction, we felt so uncomfortable with the food, we threw everything away at the total cost of $15.63. I would rather this store inconvenience the community by closing due to lack of staffing as opposed to allowing this guy serve their customers. Shameful. read more

Summary: Classic, cheap fast food fix. Hours are not communicated properly nor standardized. Food is not exceptional but if you're visiting Taco Bell I doubt that's what you're expecting. I live about 2 miles from Whitestown and frankly the only realistic option for a late night snack is Taco Bell (at least at 1 am). I'd say for fast food, my expectations are that it's: - Cheap - Quick - Warm - You get what you order This Taco Bell conforms to standard menu pricing, which is great with all the price hikes as of late. They're not both quick and warm, however. You can choose to either wait 10 minutes in the parking lot or get slightly cold food. While it seems others have complained about lack of getting what they've ordered, I typically order through the app and pick up through the drive-through and have not encountered issues. The deal breaker is, they're not available many times. I loosely quote an employee from my experience tonight, "We're closed. We're under modified hours due to understaffing." This isn't the first time this happened but especially aggravating is that the app already accepted my order and billed me. These modified hours aren't mentioned anywhere either so quite frankly it's a pain when you come to Taco Bell with low expectations only not to be able to get food at all. Granted, I only visit Taco Bell early in the morning or late or night. Personally I also have not encountered any rude employees. My daughter and I went to the Taco Bell in Anson yesterday (Whitestown, Indiana) to grab a quick bite for lunch. We went through the drive thru and then pulled into a parking spot to eat. My daughter opened the wrapper and gasped. I looked over and there was a bite out of it already! We drove up to the restaurant and went in to tell the manager. She said adamantly that this did not happen in her store (calling me a liar). I explained to her that all the food was warm, but this was cold and we did not take that bite! Let me first just say that Taco Bell is easily the fast food restaurant that the hubs and I frequent the most. We've had a loooottta the Bell in our 14+ years together, and we've visited loads of different locations all over the U.S. When we moved to the northwest side of Indy almost 6 years ago, this Taco Bell became our nearest location. Fortunately for us, this is a great location! We often customize our orders to fit the hubs being a vegetarian (-beef, sub beans), and we've had our fair share of receiving wrong orders. However, we can't remember ever having our order mixed up at this location. Plus, the workers always seem speedy and pleasant. So, when coming home from the north, we almost always bypass the Taco Bell a few exits north in favor of hitting up this one! Thanks for the great service! Went to this Taco Bell last Friday night. Waited over 30 minutes in the drive through for them to take my order. They weren't even that busy. I order 2 burritos. Waited even longer for my food.. the person 2 cars in front of me seemed to keep going back and forth with the employee to get their food. I just went through the drive through at 11:10 am on Friday, November 16. All I wanted was a beefy five later burrito. It took me over 30 minutes to get through the drive thru with only 2 cars in front of me. By the time I returned home (I live less than a mile from this location) my burrito was cold on the inside with a hard dried out tortilla. The drive-through service here is usually fast and friendly, and the food is up to Taco Bell standards. Mistakes are rare, but they do happen -- we've been shorted items, had items prepared incorrectly (we'll say "no lettuce," the receipt says no lettuce, and ... what's that?
