The kids wants quesadillas for lunch so we popped in here today for lunch. Kids meals are $8,50 (ouch) and husband and I split chicken fajitas at $18.50. Our four drinks- milk; lemonade and two iced teas totally $11. Expensive lunch. The fajitas were ok- a bit bland but was a decent quantity. We didn't quite finish it all between the two of us. The presentation was nice however. Kids said the black beans were bland and added a bunch of salt (unfortunately). While the plain cheese quesadilla was good; the ground beef one was nicely filled with beef but it was SO GREASY it was inedible. Service was excellent. I did think about ordering a skinny margarita but it was $17.99, so skipped it. Probably will choose elsewhere next time. read more

When we went in it was just before dinner rush on a Saturday night so there was plenty of open tables. Even when the place gets full, I feel like there would be plenty of space. The food came out quick and the margaritas were so good. It was relatively cheap for Mexican food compared to a lot of places around Indy. Great spot! My thing is Verde Enchiladas - I get it at pretty much every single Mexican restaurant I go to. These were really good because it was grilled chicken rather than shredded. We eat here 3 or 4 times a month. Everyone on staff is wonderful and we've never had a bad experience. The food is top notch and I rotate through the menu regularly. The chorizo is a favorite whether it's in choiri queso, Tacos campechanos, or chori pollo you can't go wrong. I've never found anything I don't like on the menu. The horchata is awesome and you need to try it. Finally they switched to coke from Pepsi which pretty much makes this a perfect restaurant. read more

I came here on a Friday night with a group of 6 and seems like we were seated within a good amount of time despite it being quite busy. Our server was very nice however did forget one girls margarita and didn't get the memo about removing shrimp from her order. As far as my order was concerned, I ordered a raspberry margarita which was okay but nothing spectacular. It tasted like sugar more than anything. My Salad was also a bit bland in flavor in terms of the chicken seasoning but was one of the healthier options (kinda) off the menu. Hello Texas Margarita's! Everyone loves a little Mexican food right! And my go to dish is chicken fajitas! I have had them from here twice, once carry out and once dine in and they are yummy! I think they have taken over my number one ranking in the chicken fajitas rating scale. When we dined in, the service was incredibly slow. We waited on every aspect. Getting our drink order, getting the drinks, getting chips and salsa, getting more chips and salsa because we were staving, getting the food. But again, the chicken fajitas were so very good! While we were there they seated a large party right next to our table. So close in fact if I wanted to I could have reached out my arm and rested my hand on their back. It made me super uncomfortable in the time of COVID, but luckily we were almost done with our meal and we could rush out. read more

They are clearly not customer oriented, just all about money and even sneaking in extra by changing every price for everything on the bill. This place is absolutely gorgeous- I was kind of in awe as we sat down! My boyfriend and I got frozen margaritas, queso, and the combo options. The enchiladas were great and the veggie quesadilla was stuffed to the brim with sautéed veggies and cheese. We will definitely be coming back! Not impressed by the food. Really blend and nothing good. And definitely did not like their customer service at all. Yes we arrived 45 minutes before closing and our group had 10 people. But we had called ahead of time to ask if they can accommodate us and they agreed to it. There was absolutely no salt or any other seasoning on the chips, rice, shrimp, or fries. Hopefully it was just an off night or they ran out of salt (?!?!), but 3 out of our 4 meals were completely bland. Restaurant atmosphere and decorations were really nice, so no complaints there. Waiter was also great, so maybe we should have sent the food back but absolutely hate to do that. Not really a negative but they don't have virgin drinks for the kids. We tried a New Mexican restaurant in Whitestown. They also have a restaurant at 64th and Keystone which we have not tried. We tried the Texas Margarita chimichanga. It was good. I also got the Texas Margarita with Grand Marnier, it was also good. One waitress seemed to be serving the whole restaurant at 5 on a Tuesday. She was doing a great job, very attentive! Others workers came in as we were leaving. We will definitely give it a few more tries as we look for a favorite Mexican restaurant! read more

I'm always a little worried about ordering seafood in a place that's 1,000 miles from the nearest major body of water. Against my better judgment, I still decided to order the seafood fajitas. At first, it seemed promising. I saw several waitresses walk by with sizzling plates of fajitas that looked delicious. Alas, I was to be disappointed. To say they were overcooked would be polite. To say they tasted like licking an ashtray would be an understatement. A more appropriate analogy would be that they tasted something like eating your last meal as a pyroclastic flow raged down Mt. Vesuvius right as the sulfuric cloud envelopes Pompeii. The service was also exceptionally poor. They were having issues with their card reader, and they asked to re-run my card. I pulled up my bank account on my phone and showed them the charge was already pending. They still said the needed to run it again. Naturally, I ended up with two charges on my account. I spoke with the manager, who was gloriously incompetent, and proved to be no help whatsoever. The one bright side: the margaritas are pretty good. Perhaps you can drown your sorrows about the terrible food and worse service in your drink. But imagine this was Pompeii and this was the last meal you'd get to eat - wouldn't you want to do better? read more

Up until six months ago I would and did recommend this restaurant to everyone. After the last three visits I doubt I will ever be going back. Yesterday the service was terrible, the chips were stale. I can live with the price increases of $3-$5 per entre, that is expected at this point in time. But the quality of the food has fallen so bad that it is uneatable. My vegetable burrito, which used to be full of large, tasteful grilled vegetables, was 90% beans with a few small vegetables and mostly stems. The rice was hard as a rock. My husbands steak burrito was at least 50% onion, which he had to pull out because the amount of onion was so overwhelming. Is this new management? Are they just interested in profit and no longer interested in serving good food? My answer is probably yes. Very unfortunate and discouraging. read more

This is our first time trying this restaurant. The service and atmosphere were great. Some observations why I felt the food was ok not great. First of all the salsa that was brought out was very watery. It tasted like it was either old sitting around for a while or maybe came from a can. It just didn't have a freshness to it and I just really didn't want to eat it . I ordered the Monterrey Fajitas which are steak and chicken fajitas. The presentation of the fajitas looked good although when I tried the meat, it lacked flavor and the cut of meat was very thin for fajitas. It just wasn't exciting it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. The texture of the rice was very clumpy and tasted like it was sitting around for awhile or came from a box. The guacamole was on point and was fresh. The horchata tasted good. Even when I had mentioned to one of the waiters about how the meat lacked flavor, he agreed. Obviously, everyone has their own standard of what they feel is good Mexican food but of course this being my family lineage I think I'm pretty good at deciphering what is mediocre Mexican food and what is good. Honestly, my plate of Mexican food tasted like the Mexican food. they serve at Disneyland which is not Mexican food at all. I think due to Covid, they are still waiting on their liquor license to serve alcohol, but honestly the food made up for it so I didn't even care.
