We are VERY pleased with our decision to have Taco 'Bout It cater our Taco Tuesday lunch at our company. Good food and set up presentation. Professional. Thoughtful and considerate. On time. Many loved the quesadillas too! They made it easy and worry free. Experience from beginning to end: Marketing: We discovered Taco 'Bout It by doing a search on Instagram for local taquizas. They were one of a dozen in the results we checked. The Instagram account is well-managed, reflecting exactly what you'll get. Doing further research, we went on Yelp. Reviews and photos we found there were enough to consider this vendor. Sales Process: We sent a direct message on Instagram to inquire about options/pricing. All communication was done on Instagram, and they were very responsive. We felt good about this vendor based on the first few messages alone. Plus, they were willing to do our luncheon for 1-2 dozen guests while other vendors said they have a 30-guest minimum but left it at that. The process of selecting options was easy, simply via DMs. Summary of our order, price, date, time and even decor colors were all confirmed closer to the event with handy reminders for us. Arrival & Set Up: Enrique was the "one-man show" for our event and had requested to arrive two hours before serving time for set up and cooking. He was professional, on time, and brought everything (aside from plates, utensils, and napkins), providing the chafing dishes for the beans and rice, serving utensils, some table decor, matching canopy, and his cooking gear. He worked with us in terms of set up orientation (where people would line up for tacos and where the condiments and sides table was). He gave us a couple of options on how the decorative table linen should be oriented for the condiments table. It looked just as many of the photos did. He even offered to play the music style of our choice on his bluetooth speakers, which kept it festive and gave us one less thing to worry about. Food and Guest Reactions: All the food was good. The top winners were the quesadillas--many of our guests commented on them--and the salsas. The food prompted a couple of our guests to ask how we discovered the vendor. Overall, the tacos with 3 different meat choices, beans, rice, and all the toppings were well made/prepped. Payment: Upon reserving the date, we were given the option to provide a deposit (paid by Zelle or Venmo), which we did given the confidence we had with the vendor. They accepted cash and credit card (with fee). We chose to pay the remaining balance by cash, which was done the day-of at the end of the lunch. Clean Up: Clean up went fast and nothing was left behind. Enrique remained professional until the end, thanking us and providing business cards to share, which we did. read more

Enrique and Ames are awesome! They are very professional, and they are so much fun also. Very easy to work with. This was a work lunch for 70 people and they took care of us with no problems. They have also been at our company before with double the people and they still made it look so easy. Their food has always been so delicious every time. The guys asked if we can have them back soon. In fact the guys like the food so much they had a taco challenge to see who could eat the most tacos. They were eating 10 tacos then 15 tacos and the winner of the challenge ate 22! I've been to a lot of parties with taco caterers and Taco 'Bout It is by far the best. I tend to arrive "fashionably" late to other parties and by the time I get there, the taco meat is usually hard & dry, but they're still serving. I chucked it up to my fault for being late and not getting fresh tender meat. This is NOT the case with Taco 'Bout It. We have about 50 people and he had everything prepped and cooked here and ready to go by the time everyone came out from the office. My wife and I were planning a 1st birthday and found most venues and caterers were booked (on Saturday). I came across Taco 'Bout it on Yelp and called Enrique. Enrique explained his busy scheduled, yet said he could manage to fit us in. He went over all options he offered with his menu and services, and was patient about answering the questions I had, and the food choices my wife and I selected. We decided on his menu option with three different meat(s) tacos with rice, beans, salsa, cilantro, and limes. Enrique said he would also serve our party for two hours. My wife and I had a slight concern about our caterer showing up, because of all the horror stories we have heard and have read online about caterers not showing or showing up late. But not with Enrique! We talked the day before the event to confirm our date and time. On the day of the event, Enrique showed up early at the venue and coordinated with the venue staff to determine a spot where he could cook and serve my party. His actions instantly addressed our concerns about his service, and took the load off of our shoulders while we focused on our guests. As Enrique was prepping and grilling the meats, our party realized that we forgot plates for our appetizers! Again, Enrique helped us out by providing the plates he had, and then drove to a nearby store to buy more plates to ensure we had enough for the tacos and anything else. Above and beyond our expectations! The aromas from Enrique's grill had everyone eager and ready for some tacos. The beef, pork, and chicken were tender, seasoned, and cooked to perfection, and the grilled onions were caramelized just right. Our guests quickly formed a line and went back for seconds! Enrique stayed longer than we expected to ensure our guests had their fill, and then put the remaining grilled meat and warm tortillas out for anyone to have thirds or to take to-go. Even with all his extra effort, Enrique did not charge extra, which I find a rarity these days as businesses seem to charge when there is anything "extra", to include good customer service. We received many compliments from our guests about Enrique and Taco 'Bout It! Enrique did not seem like just another caterer, only there to serve food and leave. Enrique was like that cousin or uncle manning the grill and doing his thing - he became a part of our party. My entire family enjoyed Enrique's food, service, and warm and easy going personality. Let me start off by saying if i could rate 0 stars i would !! i went to a bday party where they had this service as food..... okay i was told there was tacos so i stand in line and when its my turn i ask what he has he said "asada, chicken, carnitas, and pastor" okay, first of all, the asada looked like it was chorizo... and he literally only served like a small portion like if it was for a toddler. Not only that, the "grilled onions" were not grilled and were served in a big plate that wasnt covered nor cut. Cilantro was in full, and there was a small little plate of salsa for the whole party, wich i must say was a good 100 people.. i would NOT recommend his catering to anybody. very low quality. read more

Enrique is super professional. We told him that it could be up to 40 people, and we expected some people with strict dietary restrictions, and we would need the pork to be cooked and served on separately.
