Update to review from three years ago. I reallllyyy liked the Al pastor taco this time around. They were generous and it was 5 stars for sure! However, still underwhelmed BG the quesadilla, meat was dry and not a lot of flavor. The burrito was alright, and super generous with the serving. Just felt it lacked flavor a bit. Would go for the Al pastor taco again, though!

Breakfast tacos don't need anything special except quality ingredients and these are the ones! Fresh flower tortillas. Amazing homemade salsa. Mild, red. Eggs, beans, cheese, bacon, chorizo, sausage. You can order them however you like! $3.75. Full tacos, great portion size. I ordered three and could only eat two. These are great! Give Taco Brother a try. In the parking lot of the Brodie gas station.

Came back for breakfast tacos. Chorizo and egg and also bacon and egg. Both on flour. Tortillas were OK. Could have been crisped up a more more. Substantial fillings. 2 for $8. Above average.

Love love love this taco truck! Killer breakfast tacos & the grande burrito is as big as they get.

I basically keep coming back here for the same things - lilis fries and their steak quesadilla. Those Lili fries are to dieeeee for. So damn flavorful with everything you could possibly want on them I legit cannot get enough. So good. Their quesadilla was also freshly made and delicious. Prices have definitely gone up - lilis and quesadilla were both $10.50 each, but they're filling.

Solid. We got breakfast tacos, steak, and al pastor. Al pastor wasn't our favorite but the steak was excellent. Queso is 10/10 and service was quick (cane around 12pm on a Tuesday) but i am sure they get busy.

You can't go wrong with Taco Brother breakfast tacos! They're only $3.25 and they have a variety of fillings. Quick, friendly and bilingual! They have red and hot salsa for your tacos at no extra charge (some places do charge trust me).

Five stars for authentic tacos! I was slightly hesitant about coming here because the parking situation isn't that great, but I wish I would've tried it a lot sooner! Their breakfast tacos will blow you away; their BIG, flavorful, & will exceed your expectations! Beyond breakfast, their fish tacos are the bomb.com. No seriously though, the fish tacos are equally as big as the breakfast tacos and delicious. There are still a lot of things on the menu I haven't tried but definitely looking forward to coming back!!

What is in the Burrito Grande?

I asked today as I have not had one. Choice of meat, cheese, Pico, jalapeños, rice, beans lettuce and I think avocado. Hopefully I remembered correctly!

The staff were kind and friendly too! I got the special of the week--a gyro taco-- and the fish n chips taco with a side of queso. He got the gyro taco as well and corn elote. The gyro taco was our absolute fave! The queso was so gooey and delicious, and the corn elote was everything too even though it wasn't on the cob. They have tacos, bowls, nachos... a really versatile menu suitable for any hungry person! They also have this velvet cake that I plan to get during my next visit--yes, we will be back!

Some tables could use a cleaning in between guests, but it was fairly clean. You order your food at the counter and they call you when it is ready. I ordered the grilled steak taco, rotisserie chicken taco and special taco of the week (pork dumpling smash taco). We also ordered the elote and queso to share. The elote was good, but very creamy and a bit heavy. The queso was good but tbh I prefer Torchy's. The grilled steak taco was a bit underwhelming, I wanted it to have more flavor, it just tasted like beef and cheese. The chicken had good flavor and the special weekly taco was enjoyable and interesting, not like any taco I have had before. There is plenty of variety for people including those with dietary restrictions. My friends ordered two tacos each and I was full after 3 tacos so if you are not a big eater stick with two.

Like your girl can eat tacos but I had never been one to be like let's go get some cause I am craving them. But man cuantos tacos can definitely get me saying I want and crave them! I thought prices were pretty fair at 2.75 a piece. After much researchon what to eat in Austin this is one of the spots that I saved as a bookmark. While I was in Austin, a foodie friend on Instagram shared with me her list of recommendations since she just moved to Austin not too long ago. I knew that Ihad to stop by Cuantos Tacos, I mean how often do you see a Michelin BibGourmand taco truck. We came here for dinner but it was cold, sprinkling, anddark out. Tables they had were wet from the sprinkle.  My family only triedthe suadero taco ($2.75 per taco) but OMG it was the best thing we ate duringour trip in Austin. It was super memorable, the meat was soft and the salsaadded the perfect kick to it. It's been a month, my husband and I are still daydreamingabout these tacos.  Tacos are madepretty fast, we had to order tacos 3x since they were so good, we kept wantingmore. Wait time was super reasonable. Staff are nice and if I lived closer Ican see myself coming here every taco Tuesday! I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk).
