Food is good, always hot and fresh night crew is awesome and always nice no loud music or anything.

My food was cold and made correctly. The part I find most unprofessional is the music playing out loud for the entire building to hear. The music had profanity and inappropriate language being played. It's one thing to let employees listen to music it's another when playing loud enough for customers to hear. Used to be a good location when it firsted opened, quality has gone down hill since, both food and appearance of the outside (trash in the bushes by drive-thru and landscaping (dead bush and lack of mulch or something nice to cover the grounds)) just shows lack of care, cannot blame covid for this, this has been happening for awhile, apparent. Taco Bueno was recently voted as the #1 Mexican restaurant in the nation! Pretty good and unexpected for a place that has a drive thru! I didn't get this on a regular basis for a very long time as I lived out of state, but every visit I stopped by for a Mexi Dip and Chips. Like, it's the most amazing thing ever! Now that I live a couple miles away from one, it is definitely my go to place for a quick dinner treat when time is tight. They also run great promotions throughout the week, but you have to follow them on Facebook to know about them. Right now, they're doing Taco Tuesdays where you get a taco platter (two tacos (hard, soft, or one of each), refried beans, rice, sour cream, guacamole and salsa) for $2.99, up to 5. It's a great deal! Also, on Thursdays they have their party tacos (smaller version of a taco, either hard or soft) for 0.59! Even last week they ran a promo of $5 off $10 to celebrate their best Mexican win! Throughout all the things I have tried, I will always recommend the Mexi Dip and Chips! Zero stars. This location has possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Shift manager? wore a mask below her mouth and cursed openly while joining in complaining with the line cook about us while we were in the drive through. The guy working the window tried to close the window but was unsuccessful. When we pulled into the line there was only one car, though every other fast food place was packed, I guess now we know why. My wife is from Oklahoma and always raved about Taco Bueno. We've had poor service from this location before, but never this bad. Not the greatest experience at this location. I walked in and went to the register, a lady walked up and just stared at me without saying a word. She had a headset on so I wasn't sure if I was supposed to order or wait for her to give me the go ahead. So we stood there and awkwardly stared at each other for a sec. I ordered the cheesy chicken chilada platter with no tomatoes or sour cream, it still came out with tomatoes. Once I picked those off, the food was tasty. I also tried to order a small drink for .99 cents which was advertised below the dish that I ordered. I was informed that they were out of small cups. So I was charged over two dollars for a medium. In my opinion I should have been charged the .99 cents, since it wasn't my fault they didn't stock enough small cups. Overall, good food and very lacking customer service. read more

This place shouldn't be considered as fast food but "slow food" which makes me wonder why my food was cold if my wait was long? Wouldn't you be expecting hot food for a 25 min wait? Oh Taco Bueno. Why do you not have any locations in Phoenix? Out of all Tex-mex fast food restaurants, this company is my favorite. They have some tasty menu items. They also provide a fresh salsa and veggies bar. This location was great. The cashier was polite. The restaurant was clean. I ended up working a little on my laptop after my meal, and I saw the cashier making her rounds around the tables to make sure they were clean. I am updating my review to 3 stars for this Bueno because I feel like after a few months of being open they really do deserve it. One of my biggest complaints in the past was that the wait in the drive through was just outrageously long. I'm talking 20 minute waits sometimes. Well they have really improved upon that and even on nights like tonight where it is a Friday and they are having an awesome deal on a very popular item, they are getting through the line in ample time. I'm really impressed actually because it is really busy. Also, and I do hope that I am not jinxing myself here but for awhile now they have been getting my order right and not forgetting anything which was another bummer about this places The taste was never an issue here through and the food is always delicious. This is by far my favorite fast food place and I come here quite often and I am so pleased that they have been improving. If they continue you down this path then I will absolutely give more stars.
