Been to this Taco Bueno several times. This was the last time I'm wasting my time with this business. No Cheese, No Sour Cream, No substitute's. The manager wouldn't even discount the food. They had queso but refused to put it on any of the food - unless I paid the extra price. We walked out. They said they couldn't walk over to Reasor's and buy shredded cheese. I've gone to this establishment and the dining room doors were locked. But I could go through their drive-in. We went to Taco Bell, just across the street, they didn't disappoint. read more

I went here at 8:30 pm on Wednesday night . I double checked their hours as to not be the pest customer that comes at closing time . 10pm is listed closing time . After saying hello multiple times someone came on saying their system was down and wouldn't be up for 15 to 20 min . I strongly feel this was an excuse not to make food and if I'm wrong I apologize. This store is consistently understaffed and those who do work there do not seem to have any desire to provide quality service. Wait times are longer than at a high end restaurant for fast food! The store will not answer its phone or either they just hang up the call without answering. read more

This place has a new GM! The dinning area was very clean. The salsa bar was stocked well and fresh. We placed our order and by the time we got to our table our food was ready. Hot, fresh and the order was correct!! The GM came to our table and asked us great questions about how they were doing and what the could improve on. She was very nice and personable. I don't think I can rate this place any lower. The wait time alone is enough to bottom out the score, but then throw in the TERRIBLE customer service and you get this Taco NO Bueno. I occasionally door dash and actively avoid this location. I understand being busy, but you can at least acknowledge your customers who have been waiting at the register for 5-10 min(not an exaggeration), to let them know you are busy but see them. You WILL wait 20+ minutes for your "fast" food here. You will get no apologies for the long wait and the attitude of the employees is laughably bad. Needs new management or new employees. Super disappointed. My family and I tried to order the street tacos, but they were all out...they were also out of cilantro then it took 15 minutes for us to get our food. The last time they were out of taco meat. It seemed as if only one guy was working to take the orders and deliver the food out to the cars. If I were the owner, I'd be genuinely worried about the inefficiency of this establishment. It's been going on long before COVID-19 with very long drive thru times, wrong food, and just an overall attitude of not caring from the employees. Fast food problems are a very first world problem. However, this specific TB is probably driving business across the street to the competitor. And although there is no credibility in generalities, there have been a multitude of specific instances concerning the above issues. UPDATE 10/22/20: Larry's Fried Chicken is now closed. No sign of life in months. Really good boneless chicken. The potato wedges are tasty too. No complaints on their baked beans or mashed potatoes with gravy either. Friendly service. My reason for four stars and not 5 and only complaint is they are often closed. read more

Worst service I have received from a fast food restaurant. Waited over 45 minutes in line for my food, and when we got the food it was thrown together and missing half of what we asked for. After receiving payment, they forgot my drinks, which were filled 3/4 of the way full, and our condiments were 1/3 full. Will not be revisiting. read more

Always been a fan of Bueno but over recent years they have gone to trash, and that goes especially for this location. You always age another year while waiting in line for drive through and the food quality is mediocre at best. Absolutely horrible! I ordered a chicken nacho salad. The chips were so stale they weren't even edible. It was half the size it normally is because of the container they put it in. Also ordered a bean burrito and it had no beans in it. It had shredded cheese and chili sauce. Who in the heck makes a bean burrito with no beans. We ordered cinnamon chips and paid for them. When we got everything home we had no cinnamon chips and when my husband called to tell him about the other food and the missing chips we were told that there was no way we ordered cinnamon chips because they've been out of those all day. Even though the order taker read them back to my husband and charged him for them. Absolutely awful customer service and food! read more

Dirtiest place I've ever been. There are serious issues here. It is a very busy place and I'm not sure why after being on it. The bathrooms were also dirty. No excuse for how bad it was. Waited 25 minutes in line at the drive thru. After getting to the window, i waited about 5 more before someone opened the window and asked if i had been helped. Another kid came to the window and asked if i had a certain drink - i said no and told him what i had ordered. got my stuff and drove off. got the wrong drink. went in to exchange my drink & finally got the correct one after about 10 minutes of waiting. while i was in there, a lady came to the front and told the worker she couldnt throw her trash away because they were all full. wish i would have driven the extra 2 miles to the 86th st location, after all this. read more

Highly disappointed with our drive thru experience at this location. First we noticed that they overcharged us. That was corrected pretty quickly. Then we were asked to pull up, park & wait for our food. When we got the bag we noticed part of our child's order missing. My husband walked into the building to correct that, which they did. Unfortunately we didn't realize that they left out the Muchacho in the #1 combo & the salsa packets we had requested. At this point we were already 10 miles down the road so we just went without those things. They really need to be more organized & listen to the customer better. read more

I grew up eating Taco Bueno. It is still the only fast food Mexican that I will even attempt to eat (except El Pollo Loco but don't get around them often). Anyway, since moving to a state in which there are no Taco Bueno's, one of our first stops while in town is always going to be Bueno. It's something our entire family misses dearly! So, while in town over the summer to visit family, we stopped into this Bueno. It's a new addition on the north side of Owasso but delivers the same quality of any other Bueno. It's a chain, after all. But, the location this particular day was clean, efficient and the food was just as good as we hoped it would be. If you stop in over the 2014 Christmas holiday, it's likely you'll see us here, getting our Bueno fix until the next time we have the chance. read more

Used to be a huge fan of Bueno but seems they get things wrong more often than right these days no matter what the location. Burritos with a tablespoon of beans, Taco bowls or tacos barely wrapped and tossed upside down in your bag and that's if they get the order right at all. 40 minutes to get food, before I leave I check to see if I have everything. Of course they forgot an item chips and queso. Get home and start eating the chips are chewy like gum. I would generally give the food at any Taco Bueno a 3-star rating. It's ok for Mexican fast food, but about average for what I have had. For Oklahoma it's pretty good though. The prices are reasonable. I am giving this particular location an extra star, because of how well it is run. I have had problems at other Taco Bueno locations, but never here. They always know about any special offers, and have never got my order wrong, or had a big delay. On top of that, when you dine in they bring the food to your table, whereas all the other locations just call you to the counter. I think that is a nice touch. read more

This is the worst restaurant I have been to as far as taco buenos. I have repeatedly tried to give them chances and it's still the worst in service and speed! Took 25 min to get my food while employees wanna be on there cell phones while working. The management is poor and they really need to teach the crew proper customer service skills!
