For being a humble little hamburger stand, the food was good. I had a junior burger with curly fries. The fries were pretty good for 2:00 pm on a Tuesday. They were hot and crunchy on the outside. My little burger was perfect. They use red onion slices instead of chopped white onion which I don't care for raw. My husband ate all of his burger and 1/3 of mine, so I know he liked his. This is a real drive-through. There are two booths for dining in. The service was very courteous and prompt. This is a great little fast-food place when you're in a hurry and not worrying about calories or limiting ingredients. Try it! read more

After a failed attempt to get meal at the closed Burger in Paradise on 71st, it was on to plan "B," Burger Street on 51st street. It was open. We walked to the front door. A small dining area with three booths was visible from the locked door. I could see staff inside. I tapped on the door. Maybe they just failed to unlock the door this afternoon. I frequently eat at Burger Street on S Peoria. The food is top notch but a little more expensive than other drive through burger restaurants. The wait is usually a bit longer than others as they really are made to order. Today I was fourth in the drive through. After eight minutes the line had not moved, so I bailed as I hadn't even reached the order microphone. Lesson learned, from now on if I am not first or second in line, I will have to pass on by. Went there 50 minutes before they were closing sat behind 2 cars whose orders they took and served and when it was my turn all the cars were gone and I sat there for 25 minutes at the menu and they didn't once try taking my order and they were in there screwing around when I pulled up to the window to see why it was taking so long. Cruising back from a late night venture and my pregnant wife needed some late dinner. Seen these Streets of Burgers before, haven't been to one ever and I've lived in town going on 10 years. No real reason really for the avoidance. I guess I might have been a bit prejudice to the outside appearance, but these aren't bad burgers at all. Despite being a whataburger fan, Calle de Hamburguesa, puts out a decent burger. It was all cooked fresh to order. The vegetables weren't soggy. Plus they offer a green olive burger, which was a unique contraption that I had never seen before. Of course I ordered it because I like anything with olives and it did not disappoint. I have been coming to Burger street ever since I was a child, and personally I think they make the best burgers. I've tried In'n'Out, shake shack, and five guys to name a few, but every time they just don't compare to burger street. The only other burger I can think of that comes close would be some burgers I had on a cruise. What makes burger street so great is their consistency, the burgers will always come out fresh and delicious. Hot and fresh patties topped with melted cheese between two buttery buns along side golden crisp curly fries. Their customer service has never been an issue for me, and they very rarely if ever mess up my order unlike other fast food burger places. It surprises me that most people in Tulsa have never tried burger street because how great their burgers are to me, but in a way it makes me happy that they aren't some big organization. It makes me a little excited when I see someone post a picture on social media and I think to myself yeah just our little secret. I've even asked the other burger lovers of my family what they feel is the best burger place is and they answer with the same response of Burger Street. I don't see any other burger place coming along and taking the number one spot anytime soon. All I can hope for is that burger street continues to deliver delicious juicy burgers for the rest of my days in Tulsa. read more

Wow, this was terrible. My dad recommended this place since my brother and I like burger joints. Looking at reviews, we thought this was can't miss. Fat Guys was great. This place, however, was just awful. The prices are just as expensive as Five Guys and Fat Guys. Once I actually got home to eat the burger, it was extremely substandard. My husband likes to come here just for the sweet tea. He drives thru probably 3 times a week. Sometimes he gets food too, but often he just swings through to get a drink. He says the tea here is so much better than anywhere else. So yesterday he drives us WAY out of our way to get a tea. In the line ahead of us there were 3 cars. I didn't think it would take too long. But the car in front of us sat waiting at the menu for a very long time waiting to order. I didn't time it because I wasn't paying attention at this point but it felt like more than 5 mins. When it was our turn to order we waited a bit. We ordered 3 drinks and an ice cream. And we waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. Over 20 more mins. I would have left but we were trapped. My 4 year old was getting restless and cranky. When we finally got the window they didn't even have our drinks filled. The lady said someone had something that needed "research" through a month of paperwork. I'm wondering why that person wasn't asked to pull forward and wait. But I WAS asked to pull forward and wait because for some reason after all that they couldn't put ice cream in a cup for us before giving the person behind me their food. I had to ask to get straws because they guy forgot them. I ONLY ORDERED DRINKS AND HE FORGOT MY STRAWS! They only gave me a 10% discount and then upsized my sons drink to a large without asking if I wanted it. My 4 year old can not hold that gigantic cup. He was pissed he couldn't have his drink. The strawberry and cream had less than one whole strawberry in it, oh but the did give me an extra one free. I will never, NEVER, come back here again. And I can't speak for my husband but he was about as mad as I was and I doubt he will be back either. The customer service is horrible. The tea was not worth waiting over 30 minutes for. It was not as good as McDonalds tea. And the ice cream was all watery and barely had any fruit in it. read more
