Strange, yellow liquids dripping from the ceiling into large, clear buckets in the middle of the dining room, rats, bugs, and filthy table tops are just a few of appetizing things you'll encounter at this Taco Bueno. I was there a few days ago, reluctantly, and they were out of medium cups (which is the drink size that comes with the combo meal) so of course they gave me a small cup (despite the problem being theirs to correct), I opted for a large drink, was charged for a large, only to discover at the fountain that they were out of all 3 of the only the sodas I cared to get. Just out of them. All 3. And hey, if you ever do find yourself craving Bueno so desperately that you MUST go to this location, they may just be closed. That's right, sometimes they're just randomly closed when their hours say they should be open. Most of us from Tulsa maintain a rough idea of Bueno hours; they do not apply to this location. we went to taco bueno last night and went in and got our food to go. got back to mannford opened them up. it was terrible. I have tried to call them repeatedl and the phone always gives you a busy signal. all of our rice in the platters was burnt. we ask for extra sour cream and guacamole on both. We got it on one and got nothing on the other, no sour cream or guacamole. if it had only happened once I wouldn't do this, but it is happening every time we go there. I stopped by here a couple of Friday's ago with my wife for lunch. We were looking for somewhere quick to eat before heading back to work and Taco Beuno happened to fit that bill especially since fast food taco places are a guilty pleasure of mine. The inside of the restaurant was clean and what you would expect from a fast food joint. A counter to order on one side with the menu on the wall above it and the seating throughout the rest including both booths and tables. At Taco Bueno they also have a salsa bar which makes it a little different. From this bar you are able to help yourself to a couple of different salsas and things like jalapeños in whatever quantity you want. For lunch on this day I decided to go with the bueno burrito as well as choosing the 3 street tacos for $5 deal. For the street tacos I chose one of each of the flavors. After ordering my wife and I waited around for quite a few minutes to the point that it was noticeable that others were getting their food a lot quicker than us. Thankfully our food did eventually come out and so we didn't have to say anything. Whenever I opened up my food I went with the burrito first and have to admit that I was a little disappointed in it. The ingredients weren't evenly distributed and so I got all of the beans at the top and barely had any chicken at the bottom. After I had finished with that I dug into the street tacos which were quite tiny. While I appreciated their flavor, especially with the limes which were included, I had a hard time telling you which one was which. So overall it was a mediocre meal but it was fairly cheap and mostly filled me up. The bottom line for me is that I would probably stop by here again in the future. While this isn't my favorite fast food taco place, the food was A-OK and was a reasonable lunch. read more

They stay open until 1am but we're lazy and locked the doors since they started cleaning early. The week before, I was eating inside at 11am, just silly how they are getting lazy. Taco Bueno is my favorite fast food always has been. It was horrible when they hired people who didn't give a crap about service, cleanliness, and good quality food. Well I'm starting to learn that TB locations can range from very good to terrible. This one is for sure at the bottom of the scale. 20-30 minutes to get one simple order, a lousy taco platter which usually comes out in five minutes or less. Several people were bringing back their orders because they were wrong. I suppose that was part of the delay also. This place was like a social gathering from Mayberry or the Twilight Zone, not sure which. All the employees had a confused dumbfounded look on their face like it was their first day on the job. 1.5 stars because the manager apologized and comped two extra tacos which I think were from that order also being wrong. HOLY CRAP RUN AWAY NOW. Ate here with a friend at lunch. Both of us got nacho salads, he got beef, I got grilled chicken. I also got an order of chips and queso. So, my chips on my nacho salad are soggy, the chili/cheese/mix at the bottom looks like puke, and the chicken tastes weird. I got through a few bites because I was so hungry before I realized that things didn't taste right. I am a diabetic and I was severely shaky and needed to eat, so I was wolfing things down. When I stopped to take a drink, I noticed that things tasted and smelled weird. So I put my salad to the side and opened up my queso to eat that instead. Wow. The cheese is green guys - freakin' green. It was a weird texture, like not liquid like it should be, but a weird solid-ish but moveable mass. And, there is a watery film on top of it to boot. I ended up throwing my whole damn lunch away. Guess this 'ole diabetic didn't need to eat anyway. That's cool. The employees here were not friendly, and some of them were actually complaining about customers coming in to get food. Well, you're a restaurant right? I'm writing this about an hour later. I love taco bueno! The one at every other bueno is spectacular,, except this one,. The food is horrible and last time I was there there Food all over every table there was no where to sit!! Everyone had to clean there own tables!! And employees were sitting at tables on there phones when the place was packed to the gills!! There was also trash all over the floor it was a nightmare.. If I could give negative stars I would and I hate to say that cause I normally love Taco Bueno. The drive thru messes up our order more times than I can count. The service at this location is terrible, staff is rude and condescending and that's before you can even get an order placed! If you ever get your food it always looks like it has been thrown together with the least amount of care, and you are lucky if any of it stays wrapped up and doesn't end all loose and scattered in the bag. Management needs to be changed at this location and staff should all be replaced, in this day and time people should be appreciative to have a job and a regular paycheck, but the staff at this Taco Bueno are not. If you need your Bueno fix I suggest driving on and choosing any other Bueno you'll be better off. read more

This TB has a great location on the east side of Sand Springs. The parking lot is spacious and is fairly easy to navigate into and out of. The customer service is good, the food is good, and the prices are typical TB prices in that they are very competitive. I recommend this TB location. read more

Listen, to all the people who think Bueno employees are rude, you have no place to say. They are stressed like everyone else. Some of them are pulling over 100 hours a week. I am tired of seeing horrible reviews about the service. They might have new people and are trying to keep up with orders (front and drive) while training the people at the same time. They open at 10:30 a.m. and lobby closes at 10 p.m. Drive thru stays open until 1 a.m. with only 2 people working after 11 p.m. So I don't want to see any more horrible reviews when y'all probably have the same f***ing job! read more

To say I was unimpressed with this location would not be entirely accurate, as it was impressive how bad it was. First of all, the location opens at six am, and no doors were unlocked, so I called the location's listed phone number. From the door, I literally watched an employee pick up the phone, look at it, and set it back down while it was ringing. I then walked around to the drive through window, and knocked until a visibly sweat-drenched employee came to answer my knock, telling me that they did not unlock the doors some mornings, and that I would have to wait outside in the 85* heat for my food, and order at the drive through window. I told them that I would need to come inside, because it was hot, and they acquiesced to open the door for me while they cooked my food. During the cooking phase, the employee visibly and loudly coughed the entire time. My food received, I paid full price for my food, without being apologized to or offered salsa, and left. Literally the only way that I could be forced back to this location is if this Taco Bueno is at the gates of hell where it came from when I arrive there. In closing, I would like to note the positives of this experience. Firstly, I did not die, though I feel that my living may be worth less than before. Secondly, the food was fixed and delivered within five minutes, which may explain the profuse diaphoresis of the staff. read more

Went through the drive thru. Attendant (male) seemed put out that I was there. Ordered a bueno box and told him no onions and he replied it doesn't have onions like I should have already knew that. Got to the window and he waits until my food is completely done before coming to the window. Hands me my Bueno box without a word then my drink and then just stands there waiting for payment. I hand him my card and he runs it hands the card back then hands the receipt and closes the window. I tried to call and complain but no one answers the phone after 12 rings the fax picks up. Extremely slow service through the drive thru. The car in front of me waited at least 20 minutes to get their food, and I would have left except there was someone behind me so I was unable to leave the drive thru line. When they finally got their food, I pulled up to the window and the girl tending the window was nowhere to be seen. After 5-7 minutes waiting, she finally showed up to take my money. After this, she left again for about 5 minutes. She FINALLY returned with my food and she was looking extremely confused so as I leave I check my order, and of course she gave me the wrong one. So I finally park and go inside and tell them (I was still nice) and someone else handled it, and it was apparent that this girl messed things up often by his expression.
