I like taco Casa because they've based their menu items off of stuff that Taco Bell no longer makes their food is good tasteful and plentiful. We haven't been to a Taco Casa location in YEARS! We wanted a change up from the usual Taco Bell, Fuzzys, etc. I ordered 2 of the big tacos with only meat and cheese for the teen and a chilada no beans and a regular taco. ($20) Our order arrived and mine was made perfect however I can only assume communication or kitchen staff. The tacos has lettuce. My son is special needs and the thought of lettuce had him off on eating the tacos a good 10 minutes. We scraped it off and added the cheese back on top and he ate them but still with hesitation. Other than that mix up, the food was as good as I remembered. We'll have to try the tacos again later but I'm looking forward to trying a new item. Thanks guys! read more

So my old roomie swears by Taco Casa and I felt obligated to give it a shot last time I was in town. I was pleasantly surprised to find I really enjoyed it! The staff is super friendly, the dining room is quite spacious (and has been cleaned spotless each trip I've made in), and best of all it is super cheap! I love their tostadas and burritos, and their sauce is magic in a small package (it blows Taco Bell's sauce packets outta the water, it's that good). Now I am the king of custom orders and they nailed my special requests also. They also crank out their drive-thru orders at lightening pace to boot. While this place is not my beloved Taco Bueno, this location is way closer to my folks place and will fulfill my taco fix in a jiffy (yeah, I just said "in a jiffy" what of it?). read more

This place has gone downhill since July 1, 2018. Even though I shouldn't admit it, I've been here every day for the last three weeks. It's just been my stop on the way home and I've been on the taco kick. I thought, with a Capital T, That I had found a taco place that was not afraid to put cheese on their taco. THE CHEESE Is what makes the taco great. Since July 1 they have cut back the amount of cheese on the taco to about a fourth of what it was last month. It's kind of starting to look like a Taco Bell taco, which really stinks. Sadly, today was my last day to eat at the taco Casa. If you would've asked me on June 30, I would've given this place at 5 Star, Every day and twice on Sunday. I don't know why they cut back on the cheese, perhaps are trying to save on food costs, but that really destroys the taco. I ate another Taco Casa last Tuesday, they actually had a taco Tuesday, which is really cool because the taco was $1.29 instead of $1.69. In those tacos were amazing. Those tacos had a ton of cheese on it. Just like this taco Casa used to have. OK as you can tell by now I love cheese on my taco, I love cheese. Period. When I get to heaven, my mansion will be made out of cheese, you take a bite, but the hole just fills back in with new cheese. I did share my dissatisfaction with two employees, one took care of the situation, the other one just rolls her eyes and whispers to the employee making the tacos, which did not improve the taco and all. When I'm in Texas, this location sees a lot of me. My Dad LOVES the tacos because there is plenty of meat. Some of the other menu items have a bit too much cheese, but that's an easy fix. My order has always been perfect with no mishaps. The staff is always, always friendly. read more

Went there to get nachos. I repeated myself to the young man twice that took my order. I wanted my nachos separated because I have a ways to go, I don't want my chips to be soggy. He said he had to change to get them separated, so I said it again if it will be separated. He said yes they will be. I trusted him, and of course, didn't check my bag until I got home. It was a mess with everything piled up on my chips. I was livid, I wasted my gas and money on soggy food. Now I will have to trust myself to look in my bags from now on and not trust those people. I LOVE TACO CASA!!! I go here almost every day. They're quick, super friendly, and the food is great. I would say that taco casa is the best mexican fast food place. They're definitely in the top 3 for best fast food places of all time. They've never messed up my order, unlike every other fast food place I have ever been to. Still haven't opened their lobby. This concerns me because drive thru is packed. So I pay for the wait (gas), the convenience, the drink price that includes with free refills no one can take advantage of. If I want to slow down get out of the hustle and bustle and sit down inside the restaurant. This isn't available. But many of the other restaurants, if not all have open lobbies. Taco Casa in general is great and this location was no exception until I ordered a large Tea today, I was told that it was 99 cents for the tea and $1.99 for the cup. I asked why, your sign says any size tea is 99 cents and I was told the cup is extra. I then asked what if I order a large coke, is the cup extra and she's says no. I reply you've got to be kidding me and I asked for the manager and the cashier then spoke to a lady in Spanish and said that's the manager and what I was told was correct. I ordered a Dr Pepper for myself and my son and ordered a water for my wife since we weren't going to pay $2.99 for an iced tea! I feel like maybe the owner doesn't speak Spanish and all of their employees are Spanish speaking and they have had a miscommunication. I have gone to this restaurant weekly with my family since it opened and to Taco Casa in general for years and this is the first time we have been dissatisfied. On a normal night I would give this place 5 stars, but tonight they don't even deserve one star. First of all, there was only one car in front of us and it took 10 minutes before we could even get to the window to order. I asked for sweet tea. I love Taco Casa but this location has the worst customer service. The girl taking the order rushed us through the ordering process. She was too busy to make our drinks at that time. She made the after we already received our food and just sat them on the counter for me to come and get. She didn't even let us know they were ready.
