My buddy & I came here around 3pm today for a late lunch and absolutely loved it. They didn't have much of a wait, the staff was very friendly and they got the food out right away. As for the food, the chicken tenders & fries were both delicious! The Texas toast was very good as well, and prices were very reasonable at less than $10 for the entree plus a bottled water. With all the technology out there, can you guys not figure out how to keep the breading on the chicken tenders so they're not so soggy? Literally, you would probably have one of the best chicken tenders known to man. If you could keep them from getting soggy and why pac them in Styrofoam, probably not the best solution. I would say something that's cardboard based so that it could absorb the moisture, but I don't know. I don't make the packaging and I definitely don't sell chicken tenders but you guys are in the business. Can you not figure it out? read more

Will I go again to Cane's..??? Hmmm....Well.....all I ever hear about this place is how good the chicken is, and how amazing the Cane's sauce tastes. The chicken is good, def nothing special tho, and the Cane's sauce...well...this may be blasphemy for those who love it, but I don't even like it. It's sort of a mixture of runny cheap ranch and something that turns It orange and makes it taste weird. But don't worry, if you don't like their weird sauce they have all sorts of other condiment options like, well, uh, oh yeah, there's ketchup........ Really! No gravy? No ranch? No BBQ sauce? No honey mustard? Just your weird sauce, that by the way if you want an extra tiny amount in a tiny little container, they will charge you... Uh....no! Anyway, the crinkle cut fries were the best thing I ate on my visit. Oh and this was interesting. I was told I could substitute my side order of slaw with an extra Cane Sauce.... So, apparently they think their gross sauce is equivalent to a side? Huh? That was a first for me. I chose extra fries instead of an extra tablespoon of orange sauce. That was a really good decision by the way. So, I would go back if someone else is just dying to have it and offers to buy, but otherwise it's just a fancy, hipster looking place for chicken strips. Don't be fooled by the modern decor, their chicken comes from the same farm as your other local joints. I mean, this is Texas, get us some gravy for Those strips people!!! I think this is one of those places you either love or just don't get. It's pretty obvious where I am on that spectrum. But plenty of others do love it, so Def check it out. But complain about no gravy and maybe we can change the Cane's stubbornness about their condiment situation. read more

Everytime i've gone there has been something wrong with my food. One time there was a bone in my chicken sandwich.

This place is good, as long as you accept it for what it is. They offer just 5 options on the menu. They offer 3 versions of chicken tenders, one chicken sandwich, and a kids chicken meal. All are fried tenders. You cannot get anything as an entree that is not a fried chicken tender. At the lower level meals, you get fries and toast. If you order the ones with more tenders, they add Cole slaw. The only sauce offered directly is their Cane's sauce (a vaguely spicy cold sauce that's hard to describe). They then have ketchup dispensed at the bar. That's it. For me, who is used to gravy with chicken tenders, there is none. The service is, well, serviceable. They get the food out pretty quickly, but nothing is done to make it much more than a delivery of the product. What I will say is that the chicken itself is really good and fresh. It is some of the better chicken tenders that I have had, and the fries are quite good as well. As long as that is what you are after, you will get a good set of it here. If you want much of anything else, go down the street to Chicken Express to get many more options and the all-important gravy. read more

Decent food but the staff is not it. I've gone here many times and almost every time they forget something. If they don't forget to give me my sauce I paid for then it's them forgetting to give my ketchup 3 seconds after I ask for it. I didn't know as the customer I needed to double check the staff. We spent $30 for two 4 piece meals and a 6 piece meal which is fine, except for the fact that the chicken tenders were tiny! I don't remember canes being like this in the past but it's very disappointing! Definitely not worth $30! read more

And this particular location not only had very odd customer service but everything in my box combo was soggy! Even the napkins outside the box. This canes staff has awful service. Constant sass from every worker behind the counter, saying "huh" everyone other minute even though the words were being clearly spoken to her, instead of putting ice in the cup like all of the other canes in american she just throws down four cups on the counter and walks away, no thank you or your food will be right out. They forgot to put extra toast on our tray and instead of saying sorry (again) or saying i'll get that for you ma'am, they just left, came back set it on the tray and left with no word. Although I love this restaurant, they are still not open inside (due to covid-19) when all other restaurants are. I suppose it is a good business move to scapegoat Covid as long as possible to increase profits by not having to man registers and maintain the inside business. This restaurant will forever be a Drive-thru only restaurant for me from now on. If I want to sit down to eat fast food, I will go to Whataburger, Mcdonalds, Braums, Taco Casa, Taco Bell, Riskeys, Chicken Express, or KFC...all of which are within a mile of your location. Canes is late to the restaurant game in Benbrook and I foresee them being one of the first to go in the next couple years. Your product is awesome but your customer service by not opening for a sit-down meal ranks you last place in the Benbrook fast food category.
