I absolutely love taco Casa I don't eat junk food very often but when I do, it's always taco Casa. so a couple of months ago they raised the price from 269 for a taco to 289 that's a $.20 raise and then I went in at the end of June 26 and it was 3. 09. I placed an order and then I looked up and saw the price increase and rescinded my order and walked out. I'm sorry I can go get real Mexican taco for less than what I'm paying at taco Casa. That's a $.40 increase in the last three months for just an average taco to me that just screams corporate greed . What added value are they? Am I getting for the $.40 increase? Am I getting more meat? A better shell more cheese tomatoes what am I getting for the $.40 increase? and they made the taco shell thinner so when you eat it the thing falls apart. It's not like they'll miss my business, but I can't do taco Casa anymore. The corporate greed is just too much for me. What is happening to your food! Its been a few months since I have eaten at a Taco Casa, which has been my go to for fast tex mex. Last night I ordered 2 bean burritos and 3 crispy beef tacos. I was shocked when I got my order. All the food has shrunk in size and quantity. The tacos have shrunk in size while the price has ballooned to $2.89 each! The size of the tacos looked like the party size of what you would get at Taco Bueno. The size is at least 30% smaller than last time I visited. Furthermore the Taco Casa staple used to be stuffing each item with tons of food, especially cheese. These tacos were anemic and barely had any food in them. The burritos have shrunk in size as well. But the most egregious thing is my burrito barely had any food in it. The burrito was 75% tortilla with hardly any beans in it at all and almost zero cheese. The burrito was so skinny that there were bites that had nothing but tortilla. Did I get a bad order or is this the new standard from Taco Casa? I specifically came to Taco Casa because of the size and quantity of food relative to the price. Now we are getting insane price increases while the food size and quantity has shrunk at least 30%. I never give bad reviews to taco casa.... Was driving through town after my flight and thought yes I miss taco casa. Drove up to the drive through... I ordered "3 spicy bean burritos and a medium 1/2 sweet 1/2 unsweet tea with extra hot sauce packets" they said "pull up to the window" well I was on the outside lane and thought oh ok I guess they want me to actually try to get over to the window. It was late at night so yeah ok... after trying that the guy came out and handed me my drink and said "you were suppose to stay in the outside lane " so I replied "then why did you telll me to come to pull up to the window? " no response. He then came back with my burritos. I was so excited. Flash forward to 10 minutes later when I actually got into my bag.... Not even a single package of hot sauce. Ugh so I picked up my tea and no ice like what the heck?!? I had been traveling since 6 am and it was already 9 pm so I just kept on driving. But.... I was severely disappointed. Taco Casa is so good, so fresh. Not a taco bell type of food. Prices are ok. Hard working bunch at this location.

I stopped by Taco Casa on my way to Fort Worth. Unfortunately, the dining room was closed since no one wants to work any more, so I had to eat outside. I also needed to use the restroom, but no dice, so I had to go across the street to Race Trac. It really sucks when you are traveling and just want to stop somewhere nice like Taco Casa to get a bite to eat and sit own and relax for a bit. The food was good usual. I had a soft taco ($1.99+tax) and side of salsa ($0.49+tax). I prefer their salsa over the hot sauce packets since the hot sauce is too spicy for me. As usual, the taco was stuffed with copious amounts of meat, lettuce, and cheese. Taco Casa is my favorite Tex-Mex fast food place, followed by Taco Bueno. I don't even bother with Taco Bell when I can go to Taco Casa or Taco Bueno. read more

I love Taco Casa and visit locations throughout North Texas. This location is clean, service normally good and the food up to par for Mexican fast food. I came to this location on a Monday around 10 am. I don't like the drive-through at any restaurant and prefer to go into the restaurant as it seems your order is correct more often and any errors can be corrected before leaving. The sign on the door said the lobby was open at 10 am but the door was still locked at 1015 am when I tried to enter. This is petty I guess but it is a pain to get back in the car and go through the drive-thru when I didnt want to. The saving grace was that the food was good as normal. My first time to eat at a Taco Casa bc I always thought they were the poor man's Taco Bell. I was wrong. My hubby said he ate there before we met and he liked it. We ordered the chilada, a cheesy smothered burrito, a super burrito, and a super nachos with toppings on the side. It was great! One reason why Taco Casa is better than Taco Bell in 3 words..."Cup o' Cheese" We asked for the toppings on the side for the Super Nachos and got liquid gold in a cup. This avoids soggy nachos by the time we get home and you can control your amount of cheese. (Only half the cup is really needed) Funny thing is I can't understand why the Taco Lite is 470 calories and the Super Taco is 380 calories. Smothered burrito was delicious and just the right cheesiness. Can't believe I didn't give this place a chance years ago. Next time I'll try their hard taco and pink lemonade. I've been to plenty of Taco Casa locations and this location in Granbury is by far the cleanest and the food is consistently good. They NEVER skimp on the cheese and the meat ratio in the tacos is ABOVE average ratio to the rabbit veg! read more

First time ever at a TACO CASA, and won't be my last. Slightly more expensive than Taco Bell, but well worth it. The Chilada had good flavored sauce and cheese smothering a beef burrito. The taco and soft taco were stuffed with much more meat and cheese than the Bell, and much tastier too. The hot sauce was way better tasting also. This is like Tex Mex fast-food. After sitting in the drive-through for 27 minutes I thought I would write a review about how terrible this location is. First of all let me remind you this is a location that has a double drive-thru however they never have more than one lane open. That leaves an incredibly long line around the building which would be fine if they could process people through it quickly however it takes forever to get your food. Also the speaker/microphone is broken making it terribly hard to communicate your order to them without repeating it several times. (Probably why my order was wrong) I will continue to eat at taco Casa but I will not sit through the drive-through for 30 minutes for a cold taco ever again. read more

Customer service is lacking. Whenever I go to taco casa I always get two tacos everything on the side. I do this because I'm usually not going to eat them right away and I cannot eat both at the same time due to personal reasons and obviously I'd prefer it if they aren't soggy by the time I eat. Well at this one they have a problem with putting the stuff on the side. They also had a problem with putting ice in my artic mug.... Food always taste great but the customer service is dismal. Have eaten here many times in the two months that we have lived in Granbury. Never had Taco Casa before then. First bad experience was a dine in trip where I ordered a taco salad and forgot to tell them no meat. This was my mistake so I took it back up there and ask they make me a new one and offered to pay for it and apologized for my mistake. The cashier was sweet as could be and gave me a new one but the lady who made it was very clear she was pissed and made rude comments right in front of me. She obviously did not care that I heard her rude remarks. There was really no call for it. Second bad experience is the last 4 times I've been up there I've ordered a super tostada but never get sour cream. Even asked the last time if sour cream comes on it to make sure I wasn't in the wrong for being angry and was told yes but even still didn't get it. We live 30 minutes outside Granbury and drove all the way in for .99 cent Tacos on Tuesday. Don't waste your time or gas because they no longer have .99 cent tacos. This location has always been slow with rude employees compared to their other stores. Not to mention the taco shells are always hard and the meat very greasy. I usually get a burrito, but at this location I always receive a plain burrito when I ordered spicy. Taco Casa in Granbury has to be the most poorly managed store in the franchise. Waited in drive thru 10 minutes to place my order just to be cut off while starting to give my order and was told that due to the rain that I needed to pull around to lane one to place my order. Well I couldn't pull around due to the 3 cars in front of me that were allowed to place their orders ahead of me. All the while it was raining. After sitting through 2 of the 3 car receiving their order a woman who claimed to be a field supervisor came out in the rain and asked to take my order. I asked her why I couldn't have given my order the time I attempted before I was cut off. She stated the lane was closed due to weather. I asked her for a corporate number to file a complaint she said she didn't have a number. So I went around the building and went inside to place my order. After placing my order she came up and told me that she had called someone, and they would be here shortly. Again I asked for a corporate phone number to file a complaint. Again she stated that she didn't have a number for me to call. I asked her so after waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru just to have you not allow me to place my order that I'm supposed to wait here longer just to wait to tell an unknown someone that she doesn't know the first thing about customer service or how to properly supervise a fast food establishment.
