I can't believe I'm posting this, but the manager just provoked an argument with me at the drive thru. I had to go back twice to get my order right, and I was polite about it...the "manager" (who has ZERO people skills) came out from whatever rock she was under and insisted I ordered something else...Not to mention, to my suprise, they charged me more money instead of comping the difference as a courtesy. I've been patronizing this restaurant for over 10 years, and the food is always good and staff is polite, and being an ex fast food worker myself I would NEVER patronize or tell a customer they were wrong...to me, it's not worth the heartburn and it's just not good business;I'm also extremely friendly and respectful to them (unlike most people) so this left a really bad taste in my mouth. This food is for old people with no taste buds who think salt is spicy you can not call yourself a Mexican restaurant. The food has gone from good fast-food American Mex to disgusting over-price wish I went to anywhere else for a meal. Not sure why the big change since my last visit about a year ago. I do not mind the prices going up and maybe the smaller portions if the food is good. Like the#5 combo going for $8 to $11+. Lots of Small businesses are hurting. The Taco was okay, better meat than Taco Bell( Not saying much). But the super burrito was disgusting and small and it was loaded with beans and olives and hardly any meat and only took a couple of bits before I realized it not going to get better.:( read more

This has been one of the rudest interactions I've ever had. I went to get my mom some tacos and a drink for lunch. When I pulled up to the window, a girl with bright pink pointy acrylics and brown hair was running the window. I was trying to get my money out after she had to told me the price and I guess i wasn't going fast enough and she said "I said $13". I gave her the money and she grabbed it out of my hand with a hostile attitude, I had kindly asked her to put a lot of extra sauce in the bag (she put 2 sauces for 6 tacos). When she handed me the bag I had asked if she put extra sauce in and she rudely said "yeah I did" and shut the window on me. When I had gotten to my mom's house there were only 2 sauces in the bag. I then called to ask for a manager, the girl who was running the window answered PRETENDED to be the part owner and manager then when I explained the situation she said "oh that was me actually at the window" and I said "well I don't believe you're the main manager so I'd like to talk to someone higher than you or if the owner is there" so yells on the phone and says "I'M NOT GOING TO BE TALKED TO LIKE THIS. YOU CAN TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE." she hands it off to a male who did not state he's the manager nor claim to be the manager, wouldn't tell me his name and didn't give me a conclusion on how the establishment treats people. If you don't like your job, work harder for a different one. Don't take it out on other people then lie on the phone about your job title. My whole family who's been going here since it opened would rather stop at McDonald's for a fast bite now. What a shame!! read more

First I will commend the servers for their kindness. That is the only highlight of our visit to Taco Delight. The food is worst then microwave Mexican food you get at the store. Super burrito is a mess of mostly beans that reminded me of a poorly executed Taco Bell burrito. Taquitos on the menu, I order and am very disappointed. These are the bag taquitos you get from the store and they come with nothing unless you want guacamole and that comes in a squeeze tube and taste like chit. This is an old fashioned wonderful taco place. Fast, affordable and nice people. The meat is well flavored, good cheese and a simple menu. No pretentious BS or posing. I could not understand some of the bad ratings. I read a few and the reviews sound kind of silly if not more like jerks. This is not a gourmet restaurant or a hip taco truck. CLEARLY they just make fast and good tacos and are not pretending to be anything else. My wife and I love this place because we know what we are going to get, it's good and the staff is nice. Don't like it? GREAT, enjoy sitting in the sun outside a truck or over paying for a simple taco. As for us, we get it and we love it! read more

I love Taco Delite. Their food is always warm and wonderful and the staff is usually very friendly. However today was less than welcoming. I understand being busy, and having a bad day. But lord :( I was being treated like I was the epitome of a bother. I have worked in food service before so I understand the need to be friendly, as a customer. And how frustrating it is when you're crazy busy. But I also understand that a customers business is what keeps you in business as well. My husband and I stopped in to order a few tacos and a burrito. The customer service was fast and friendly. Once we received our food, I knew it was going to be great! Our tacos were filled with yummy seasoned meat, lettuce and cheese. All of their sauces were flavorful and had a nice kick. Reminded me of the old school Taco Time. Fresh, fast, simple & delicious. It's an Older building but don't let that discourage you! The restaurant is always clean and the service is fast no matter if your dining in or using the drive through! It was near HWY 238 and it was the closest thing to a Muchas I could find, without actually driving all the way to Muchas. What I really wanted was a quesadilla; I settled for the monster nachos (or whatever they're called). We ordered our food to go and, if I ever order these nachos again, I will definately not attempt to eat them at 55mph. The styrofoam container was filled to the brim with ingrediants, making for a very messy snack. Thank god the husband was there to hold the bucket while I reached over and blindly grabbed. The nachos were the soupiest mess I've ever had. Not bad, not great, just decent enough to not make me feel ripped off. Warning: they use cheese sauce, not melted brick cheese. The olives were funky--I skipped those. The store is a little run down and had I not had the support of two boys in the car, I never would have stopped. The staff were a bit apathetic. I would not recommend this "restaurant" to a starving traveler, but if you want a light snack for cheap, and you need it to be quick, go ahead and give it a try. read more

Not bad, but not great. Stopped by on a Friday night about 6:00 since it was walking distance from my hotel for a quick bite. Inside was all but deserted but drive through was slammed with the after work folks. The staff of 2 was still very friendly and efficient even with the heavy drive through traffic. Very congested seating area (probably why drive through is so popular) but they were very quick and efficient. With that being said got the cheapest combo In case it sucked so I could throw and go. Tacos were a bit bland and sauce was watery, but not bad. Unlike Taco Bell you actually get more than 5 strands of shredded cheese on your taco. In short, would not go out of my way to eat here, but if the area would not hesitate to go back. For the price point, service and speed not bad at all. This place has the best American-style tacos I have ever had. By that, I mean tacos with a crisp shell, ground beef, lettuce, and cheese. The key is their ground beef. It is always cooked perfectly. It's not a greasy mess and it's not dried out either - just perfect! They also have a habanero salsa that is really good. Nice flavor and great heat. To me, this combination is perfect. I have tried this style of tacos in hundreds of places and these are easily my favorite. I no longer live in Medford but I drive through regularly and I always try to schedule my trip so that it includes a stop here. I've been coming here for 6 or 7 years. I don't live in Medford anymore but anytime I visit this is a MUST STOP. As mentioned the ground beef is real, as is the delicious hand shredded cheddar cheese that comes on most items. Only the nachos have the previous nacho cheese and when you're in the mood for it it is darn good too, albeit messy. The available hot sauce is also fantastic, i believe it is made in house as I've never been able to find it again. However, perhaps the best thing about this restaurant might be how unbelievably clean it is. Old building? For sure. But inside, including bathrooms, is excellently clean. This is one of my favorite Mexican fast food places. Actually, you'd probably describe it as the American version of Mexican food, which I love. It's locally owned so it offers something unique. The food is great and they substitute beans for meat for us vegetarians. The staff is very nice and I go there so often the staff knows my order! Had a very bad experience here today, & none the less to my surprised it was the owner herself who was rude:(... In my experience today I didn't feel valued as a customer at all(and I never really require it with non-owners or non-managers because usually they are young and still learning but I always do with owners, especially). I got no apologies or really any kindness when an issue arrived, customer service was lacking in integrity from the very top down, owner didn't make me feel good but rather like a nuisance, was blamed for their way outdated intercom system when I explained the issue was their end, which clearly they couldn't really hear me even though I repeated myself at least three times. They heard me clearly finally. Once the order was taken and I arrived at the window, I was asked again the same question(exactly like I was asked like three times before even after solving the issue over the intercom supposedly) I even answered that I wanted the sauce on the side but I guess me being a little annoyed wasn't okay with this fast food business when it isn't running well customer service wise. She new what I said over the intercom because after the third time I made sure she was understanding me. The worker tried to make it seem like I was the one without good communication by actively blaming me for not understanding the question, how was I supposed to know she was talking about extra sauce on the side, no one said that to me. Just assumed I knew what she meant. As the customer I don't work there and I'm just trying have lunch and I don't read minds. No one does. When I explained the the intercom system wasn't very loud or clear, suddenly a random older 50+ year old lady with blonde (I think short hair) came defensively to the window with an attack on me making assumptions that clearly were incorrect and rude. I explained & I told her I didn't understand why she was approaching me and she didn't address herself as the owner at first, when I asked why she was addressing me & not the person who I had been talking to the whole time and if she was the owner or manager she finally admitted it, then literally without taking any responsibility for being absolutely rude she told me to leave and that I was holding up other customers, but I am a customer and I was trying to help. Then I was like wait a second you came up to me and talked at me and when I didn't allow myself to be blamed weirdly she continued to chastise me which was very confusing because I just wanted my food, I was happy and having great day and then she took her own issues out on me and now I am compelled to write this review in order that my friends, family, & neighbors can avoid being mistreated by a business, especially, the owner. I feel pretty bad right because it sucks to be talked to like this:-/. Poor cust serv like this can't happen again without acknowledgement. The business needs customers so I don't know why they'd be so nonchalant about the experience, which sadly hasn't ever been bad until this particular interaction with the owner today. Seeing the owner working in the back during a lunch shift makes me think it's possible the business is struggling and she is stressed out, which I can understand during these times especially for a small business owner and I can have empathy for that but I'll never compromise the customer experience for my own ego and the ego of those working for me. Be better. Do better. No one deserves what I experienced today. Life is already hard please treat your customers better and make this right with an apologetic response or whatever and I'll consider taking it down because I'm not here to ruin anyone just here to live life and be happy like everyone else. Sadly this made me lose my appetite and I threw the food away. read more
