Great staff, great customer service and great food specials. I had their all you can eat tacos special ($20). Plus two michelladas plus tip, came close to $40. Good people, good food, good environment. The only thing that kept me on my guard, was the area. Downtown is sketchy at best. I also ended up paying $6 for street parking (1.5 hours).

I tried this place on a random night and seen they were open late and had decent prices for being downtown. The chicken taco wasn't The best, the drinks were OK, and the steak could have been cooked more. I appreciated the fact they issued me a refund due to my displeasure. The manager came out and she was so accommodating and even invited me back. With customer service like that , I will definitely give this place another chance .

Never heard of a place that has all you can eat quesabirria tacos for $35 !!! awesome deal, awesome decorations. i will definitely be back to this place. we went for restaurant week and it came with a marg, AYCE food, and churros all for $30. Normally it's $35 so i will definitely be back for that price when it's no long restaurant week. The staff was always friendly and checking up on us and I had zero complaints for this spot!!

This taco bar is the newest restaurant on East Fremont Street is by the same owners of Evil Pie (which is directly across the street). To start of the vibe and interior design is nice, has a this is going to be a great night feel. They have a Mexican Luchador design and have both American and Mexican wrestling matches playing in the background. The drinks are great and the prices are even better (for being on Fremont). Try their signature drinks oh they do have a great tequila (and other hard liquor) selection. Had to try their Michelada and it was spicy and delicious! Now the food: two words delicious and cheap!! We had a side of chips and salsa, their Mexican pizza and three tacos (two chicken and a shrimp taco). The pizza was amazing and very filling. Btw try their hot sauce, gives the food a good kick! The tacos were on point, the perfect amount of meat. Oh and the best part: all this food was around $50. Will definitely come here again.

We went for the "$20 - All you can eat tacos" and only ate the 4 that we originally ordered because they just weren't that good. We had margaritas which were more citrus-y tart than we like. This place is from the Evel Pie pizza place across the street, which we like so this was pretty disappointing! All and all I wouldn't go back unless they improve the tacos or maybe... if the margaritas were super cheap for some happy hour. I'd skip this place and go to Carajillos about a block away for their happy hour. Drinks were better and cheaper during Happy Hour!

My sister and I came here for Cinco De Mayo/Taco Tuesday. Ain't that crazy?! Taco Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo! Whew! What a combo! My sister got off late but we were determined to find somewhere to go so we googled and found this place. It is downtown so I was a little hesitant because it gets hectic down there but we had a great time. We were offered the option to purchase a shot at the door for $5 which we accepted! Inside is very small so if you come on a busy night you may not have seating. There was a DJ, people dancing! It honestly was a time. We ordered our food at the bar. This is where the lost star comes in. We ordered Nachos to share. My sister ordered 4 tacos and I ordered 4 tacos. When the order came, we only received 5 tacos and I realized he only billed me for 5. Which I guess is good that I didn't have to wait for more food but I really wanted my tacos! That's what I came out for. It was pretty loud in there so I get it but sheesh. My sister shared her tacos with me. The nachos and tacos were both good! When we finished eating we went back to the bar and shared a flight before heading out. I'll come back if I ever have a night out on the town

This mushroom taco is unbelievable! Well done Chef Carlos! Shrimp taco with the queso shell upgrade. Do it!

On the last night of our 30th anniversary Las Vegas getaway we wanted to keep it close to the Circa (our home away from home). I was looking for a hard pour and the hubby was in search of some soft tacos. On our first day, we passed Taco Escobar on the way to the Downtown Container Park. Hubby looked it up and found they had options for his pescatarian bride of three decades. So, after a full day of running around Vegas, we closed the chapter on our Flirty 30 trip with a corner table at this interesting joint. You order at the register near the bar and they bring your drinks and food to your table. Or you can just enjoy it at the bar. Everyone was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Felt like you were coming over to a friend's for drinks and a meal. The margarita was a very reasonably priced hard pour in a Tajin rimmed glass. Started with the chips and salsa and a side of guacamole. Generous servings, fun aesthetic, tasty beginning... Added the corn queso and black bean sides. The corn was sweet, savory, and cheesy. And the beans were rich and flavorful. We had so much chips we ended up topping them with the corn and beans and salsa and guac. Like a make your own nachos--so fun and so delicious! Who says you shouldn't play with your food?!? Hubby tried the birria and steak tacos. I had the shrimp and mushroom. We also added the queso shells on one of our selections. DO THIS! It added a savory and crispy layer of cheese around the corn tortilla shell. Fillings were flavorful and fresh. And the mushroom taco had so much umami that it tasted like meat. The texture was unbelievable! Carlos the chef came out to check on things and said he doesn't eat mushrooms but he eats this taco. The mushrooms are braised for three hours. You can tell he puts his heart into his cooking and it shows. The meal didn't feel greasy or heavy. It was just the right amount of everything. We left feeling satisfied and happy that we decided to end our trip at this small but inviting establishments right off the Fremont Street Experience. If you visit Las Vegas we encourage you to 'step outside' the strip, the hotels, and the malls. Try these local establishments and discover some delicious food and fine people while creating a unique experience and lasting memory. PS--Hubby got bought some merch and is rocking is Taco Escobar shirt in the 808!

Attended a private event here. Basically a dive bar on Fremont Street. Ambiance It is a dive bar, however I liked the lucha libre theme on the walls. Food They had shrimp and other types of tacos on trays. Tacos cold but had good flavor. Bartenders friendly. Made stiff drinks.

Newer bar/restaurant on east Fremont street in downtown Vegas...food is mainly Mexican handhelds, street tacos, burrito, etc; prices are ok but the tacos are smaller in size...they do have an excellent happy hour daily where for twenty bucks you get as many tacos as you can eat in a one hour period...drinks are on special then as well...service was fine and the bartender did a pretty good job for being solo, it wasn't slammed but it wasn't dead either...Mexican wrestling adorns the walls throughout, pretty cool...small seating area in back that is available for family seating...has only been open for several months or so, hopefully they can sustain, the only drawback was the $9 charged for a can of hazy little thing, a BIT high in my opinion, but, the food is very good...will try again if in downtown area...RECOMMEND

The queso Escobar style has an amazing cheese crunch. I tried Al pastor with pineapple and nicely grilled protein.

If your in downtown Las Vegas , you have to stop by and enjoy the taco experience at Taco Escobar. The lucha libre decor is on steroids but adds a unique Mexican style to enjoy in the dining tables or bar. Samantha provided amazing service and attention while providing details about the menu and drinks. Great place to watch sports this World Cup summer and hangout with friends.

When I tell you, I love it here I seriously keep coming back! The food is so delicious literally anything you've ordered and dare. I say the hotdog may be the best thing on the menu! The service is very quick, I love sitting at the bar because the ambience to be able to watch Fremont Street go by is the best!

Found this amazing hidden gem near Fremont Street! The tacos were incredible, the vibe was perfect, and the happy hour margaritas are a must-try (10/10). Huge shoutout to Albert and Carlos for being so amazing and making our last day in Vegas so memorable. Great food, better people. Don't miss this place!

As someone who loves all things quirky and unusual, The Golden Tiki has always been right up my alley. When a friend came into town and wanted to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place to kick off our evening. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. If you're looking for a fun, unique Vegas experience with great drinks, and plenty of personality, The Golden Tiki is always a solid choice.

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt.
