Don't take everything I'm saying personally. Maybe it's my aging post covid tastebuds, but everything I've been eating not just from here, but everywhere has been bland. I shouldn't have to add hot sauce to everything for flavor, but I did. Maybe it's because I'm a Texan living in Kentucky. Then again. There is a smell in here. Not sure if it's the tripas and lengua or if it's the old building with possible plumbing/sewage issues. I walked in and it smelled like a bucket of feces. I still gave it a chance and I don't think my stomach can get past it. I think another day I will try again. Let's just take the other half of my sandwich to go. read more

Food was delicious! Cheese dip is a good amount and great flavor! Guacamole is really good and fresh tasting, the tacos were really good pastor has pineapple chunks that are really tasty. I love coming here! The food is great, prices are cheap, service is very friendly! Me and my boyfriend come here often to get the authentic Hispanic food because there are a ton of Mexican restaurants around Hopkinsville but they are all the same except this one! Highly recommend the barbacoa tacos that come on corn tortillas and the quesadilla is really delicious too as well as the chimichanga of you want basic Hispanic food but explore the menu! Horrible that's one way to say it, the tacos were horrible I asked for 4 tacos de asada con todo, but instead they gave me just the steak with onion no cilantro? The steak was cut up wrong; no flavor either. The worst part? They didn't have salsa roja, what kind of "Mexican restaurant" doesn't have salsa roja or verde to go with the tacos? Wow is all I can say. Was in town for the day from Louisville in business, and grabbed lunch on the way out of town. This place is on par with some of the best taquerias in Louisville and the owner is super friendly as well. Few people understand the delicious concept that is street tacos in the US as it focuses on a small amount of excellent quality ingredients so you taste the flavor and aren't overwhelmed with sour cream, cheese, hot sauce, etc., but this place definitely does it well. I got the Chorizo Gordita, and an Al Pastor and Carnitas taco. All were great, and though I'm rarely this way if I'm ever back here I'll be making a pitstop. read more

Not sure how they ended up in Hopkinsville, but these guys are legit Mexican food including Menudo. Be brave and check out the menu. Everything is cooked fresh and tastes incredible. I come with the locals for lunch and they love it. And yes, the service is great and they do have a hot sauce bar with some pretty hot flavors. read more

Great food and super friendly service. Nice atmosphere and better food than the other Mexican restaurants I've tried in the area. The tacos and gorditas are a little smaller than what I'm used to but they also have big dishes like the Tortas, Molletes. They serve a basic tomato salsa and I really appreciate its fresh taste of tomatoes, cilantro and onion. If you like the American-Mexican restaurants don't go here.
