Great service, food is absolutely delicious and it's quick and efficient! Would definitely eat here again!

Its only 80 degrees and stench is horrible, is that an avocado ? Yum

You can Dine with the RATS !!! Yes bring the family ! We pulled up 10 feet from back door and were greeted by a disgusting foul smelling overflowing garbage pail (pics r nice). Then just 30 feet to our right is the most disgusting Dumpster I've ever seen (again pics say it all), overflowing with Joes rotting food , the stench was unbearable, upon approach a Rat scurried away ! We don't dine @ establishments that serve Rats. Do you think sanitation starts at the door, I can imagine the practices inside based on their Dumpster sanitation & Rats. Look in the third picture, now if you were a Rat would you dine in that silly rat poisoner or would you Munch Out on Taco Joes Dumpster Buffet ? I'm appalled to see our neighborhood/Town being a filthy breeding ground for bacteria & disease. I question if the owners neighborhood lives like that and why he thinks its ok for us to do so.

This is now the amount of hot sauce you can get from this location . This is for 4 tacos . Lmao Last time I'm coming here .

Tiny amount of hot sauce they give you now . No longer self serve . Cheapo's . Never coming back

Very poor experience when we had had a good experience prior. Missing rice, sodas, salsa and chips from our order. Dressing was not included. Nachos seem hours old and cold and soggy. I was sent the completely wrong salad! No answer when calling the number on website! Keep away! Yuck is my review!

Was rather impressed with this West Babylon Tex-Mex eatery in a small strip mall that's quite a bit like Chipotle. You choose your what have you from the assembly line of various meats, veggies, rice, beans, salsas etc. Ordered a ground beef burrito and it was quite tasty and very filling. Service at the counter was quick and courteous and it's cheaper than it's chain cousin. Would definitely come back here and recommend trying this place out.

We sat in their insulated outdoor area amidst string lights and beachy vibes, and every meal starts out with their addicting tortilla chips and salsa verde. (Pro-tip -- save some of this green salsa to have with whatever you order!) We tried their chicken flautas appetizer, and if you are a fan of all that is cheesy and crispy, you will definitely enjoy this one. My favorite item on the menu was next -- the Crunch and Munch ground beef taco -- this literally was an elevated version of Taco Bell's cheesy Gordita crunch, and it made me super happy. We also shared their shredded beef burrito (think barbacoa), which was a Saturday special, but honestly, any of their burritos would be worthwhile. (I dare say that the burritos also feel kind of light? They are not over-the-top in the best way possible!) If you're looking for a casual taco spot after a day at Robert Moses or Overlook Beach (or any day, really), definitely check this place out -- you will fall in love after the first flavorful bite.

The location might seem small, but it's jammed packed with traditional flavors that are being executed to perfection. Can't believe I waited this long living in the neighborhood (2+yrs) to finally stroll in and experience what some might say is 'Pura Vida' or !Magnífico¡ Upon first visit, I had to try one of their margaritas and at least one 'Street food' menu item, so opted for their Pear Margarita and Birria Empanadas. Let's say Bravo, Brava and Encore to explore more of their menu. The cocktail was totally on point without being overpowering in any way, very balanced and brightly refreshing. The empanadas were deliciously crispy without being greasy, stuffed and sealed perfectly. Then opted to try their Mashed Potatoes Fries and requested a side of their advertised Shishito slaw seen topping another menu item. I loved the way they created and presented both. The fries were a perfect balance of soft but crisped with the creme drizzle and pickled onions. :* The Shishito slaw was a summery, crunch lightly dressed which has me wanting and requesting more the next visit. They should definitely add that as one of their regular listed sides. My husband had a burger with regular slaw and an old fashioned styled cocktail which he mentioned to be exceptional as well. Everything had that fresh, made to order feel that immediately sets the tone for a great meal. The place was booming and the staff was so welcoming! The fish taco really stole the show. The batter on the fish was light, crisp, and perfectly golden. None of that heavy, greasy coating you sometimes get. It had a really clean crunch that let the fish itself shine, and every bite tasted fresh and beyond flavorful with the cabbage and crema on top. The carne asada mulitas were just as impressive. Rich, savory, and layered with flavor, with that perfect combo of melted cheese and grilled meat tucked into the house made tortillas. And the drinks tied everything together. The margaritas were super fresh and well-balanced, especially the spicy piña. No pre-made sour mix or after taste! You could tell everything was made with real ingredients bright, refreshing, and just the right kick of heat to keep it interesting. Overall, it was the perfect Cinco de Mayo stop! We had fried cheese which was described as "Crispy, Halloumi-Style Queso Freir, Topped with Tomato, Jalapeños, & Hot Agave." It was good, but not "blow me away" good. It came with 4 pieces, so not really enough to share with a large group. For my tacos I had the crispy pumpkin, sesame chicken and spicy pork. Out of the 3, the crispy pumpkin was my favorite. The sesame chicken and spicy pork were "basic" speciality tacos and nothing about them really set them apart from other establishments offering the same. Yeah, you read that correctly... not a typo. We were visiting my daughter and her family while on Long Island, but we had to fend for ourselves one evening while they had other plans. We were in the mood for Mexican food, so Yelp to the rescue... and this place popped up. Well, it lived up to all the hype, I'm happy to say. The restaurant is really small... the only negative... and it can get kind of loud, so okay, two negatives, but the food more than made up for it. We had a really good waiter, who was very helpful in helping us place our order. We ordered guacamole, and they made it to our specifications, minus the hot peppers and cilantro. It was FABULOUS and just like I like it.... as good as Besito, by the way !!! I love that place, too. However, what really won me over was this salmon dish in red mole sauce, which I had never had before. It was AMAAAAAAZING. My husband and I SPLIT an order of their Salmon Con Tropical Mole, which was pan-roasted filet of salmon, mole manchamanteles, sweet plantains, papaya pico de gallo. We got some extra plantains and some street corn, and with the gargantuan size of salmon, it was more than enough for the both of us... plus we definitely filled up on chips and salsa (and guac for me). Everything was superb, and I want to say that the salmon was some of the best I've ever had. It was flaky, flavorful and succulent with a very light but appreciated outer crunch. It was soooooooooooo good. So we came away from this place, raving to everyone and anyone who would listen. We talked my daughter and son-in-law into ordering takeout from here as they were worried it was just too small to deal with a bunch of us going, esp. with their young children. Anyway, I'm disappointed to say that their takeout was an entirely different situation. We ordered the "same" salmon dish, and it was like HALF the size. It was the size for one... not that two could split. (If you look at my photo of it, you'll see how large it was... now cut it in half... that's what we got on takeout.) I let my husband have it cuz I was too angry. It had the mole sauce, but I didn't care once I saw it.... plus the salmon itself looked different... it didn't have that nice crunchy shell from pan roasting it. Just so disappointing. The guacamole was still as good as I remember, as was their salsa... but the portion size and quality of preparation... at least with the salmon... was an abomination. I can't speak to what my daughter and son-in-law ordered for entrees because we didn't try it in the restaurant, so we have no point of reference. I feel bad because I raved and raved about their food, and this takeout experience sucked. There should be NO difference. I guess my takeaway would be to recommend that you dine-in there. I'm awarding all FIVE stars for DINE-IN ONLY... and nothing to do with their takeout process. Brave the crowds because they will be there, make a reservation which will help, and eat THERE. I just don't trust the takeout experience with them.
