**GREAT MEXICAN STYLE FAST CASUAL RESTAURANT** **EXCELLENT OPTIONS FOR HEALTHY EATING** NOT A FAN OF THOSE OTHER PLACES I don't know about you, but I'll visit Chipotle, or Moe's maybe once or twice a year. And believe me, I want to like what's being served there, as it seams to be a healthy choice. But the limited options, and mediocre taste keeps me away. But on the other hand, if it's lunchtime, I know I can count on Qdoba to supply me with a healthy and tasty meal. And the concept here is fast casual -like Chipotle or Moe's - but it's a wonderfully upgraded experience. WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT When ordering, the options are Bowls, Burritos, Tacos, Quesadillas, and a unique Loaded Tortilla Soup. However, that's where the simplicity ends, as there are a large number of choices available to customize your meal. But most importantly, what really makes this restaurant shine over the others, is the quality of the food. The multiple protein options are tender, savory and seasoned perfectly, while the vegetables and multiple toppings are super fresh tasting. And the other prepared items, such as the rice, beans, taco shells, and tortillas are all very well made. OH THOSE PROTEINS! As I mentioned, a factor that really sets Qdoba apart from the competition, are the fantastic protein options. The Grilled Adobo Chicken is tender and flavorful, the Cholula Hot & Sweet Chicken has a nice kick, the Grilled Steak is cooked perfectly, and the Birria Brisket, and Pork Carnitas are very tasty. Then there's also a nice Ground Beef, and an Impossible Meat available. Even more, there are rotating specials such as Habenero Lime Steak, and Citrus Lime Shrimp to help switch things up a bit - which you never have the option to do at those other places. SOMETHING ELSE Another item unique to Qdoba is the fantastic Loaded Tortilla Soup. It starts out with a mild spicy broth flavored with vegetables and spices. Then goes in your choice of proteins, rice, beans and whatever additional items you want to load the soup up with. And this soup can even be ordered inside a crunchy tortilla bowl, that can be devoured after the soup's finished. DELICIOUS AND HEALTHY If you're dieting like me, or pursuing healthy eating, Qdoba allows for the creation of a tasty low fat or low carb meal inside of a bowl, or in the form of a soup. And this for sure, grants a much needed break from the never ending salads with grilled chicken that many of us have to endure. And at the same time, a lunch buddy not counting calories can indulge in a hearty quesadilla or stuffed burrito. DISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE If you've never visited Qdoba, and have instead been frequenting other fast casual joints like Chipotle or Moe's, I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised here - as I was the first time I gave it a shot. And because of everything mentioned above, this restaurant will always be part of my regular lunch rotation as it satisfies me on so many different levels. And now, on top of everything else, Qdoba recently begun offering free guacamole with any entree, which is almost always a welcome addition. Toppings are all mixed in everywhere so when i don't want lettuce but ask for cheese there ends up being lettuce in my burrito anyway. They should be more careful when giving portions instead of flinging it into every topping and not care. ALSO, they were low on EVERYTHING. Barely got any sour cream on my burrito. The lady should've grabbed a new bottle instead of trying to get the droplets left out of the last one. read more

My boyfriend and I finally made it here for dinner. We passed by nearly every day and always forgot about it being so close. We had a delish dinner. We both had burrito bowls and customized it to our liking. The bowl was so filling I couldn't finish it. When I was customizing my bowl I asked how spicy the chicken was. I told the worker that I like spice, but was just curious. She gave me a generous sample to try the spicy chicken to see if it was to my liking. Talk about drawing a customer in. That was so thoughtful. Safe to say I went with the spicy chicken as my protein. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our bowls! We will absolutely come back again for lunch or dinner. read more

Here's the Scoop! My honey and I passed this place many times. So we decided to give it a try. A pleasant surprise! Our thought was another Moe's or Chipotle. But yes, it's similar to the ordering process where you're layering protein, veggies, carbs etc. the difference here is the meats, beans were seasoned to perfection. No need for salt or anything. Just bless the food and eat! So, so tasty! I got the pulled pork, rice and beans, onion, lettuce, guacamole, tomato and sour cream on the side. My my my so good. The restaurant is very clean. Nice size booths, high table seating as well. The booths have TV monitors which was lovely. The colors are earth tones which is very nice. My honey ordered the chicken with rice & beans, lettuce, guacamole, tomatoes and peppers. We both enjoyed our meal and the comfortable booth. Check out my pics attached. Never. Giving. Chipotle. My. Money. Again. This will basically be just a comparison to their rival. I decided to try this place out, on my way to a possible trip to Chipotle, basically almost next door to them.. So much cleaner inside, so much nicer, so many more options, so much more everything Chipolte isn't. I haven't heard of e.coli in their food either, so it's probably a good thing. They have a bigger menu than just burritos or a bowl. The options even have SHRIMP! They have multipe sauce options. Their chips didn't spoil a few hours later. It also didn't taste like I was eating a bowl of salt and my blood pressure was gonna sky rocket. I absolutely loved their food. They have quesadillas I want to try next time. Prices are slightly cheaper than Chipotle, too. The woman that made my food was EXTREMELY nice. The only thing I'd say a negative about this place, is the bowls won't close - they gotta get some better dishes. The lady had to tape my sides of the bowl and even still that didn't hold bc the bottom was warm and soggyish. As long as I'm living here, Qdoba hands down has my money over Chipolte!!!!!!! I've heard of this place and knew it was a chain. I heard it was similar to Chipotle, but it appeared to maybe be a little more premium. So my boss suggested it for lunch. I went to the website and saw delivery, which is always a plus. I put in several distinct orders and I liked the customization. I liked I could put names on the food, especially since one of my staff eats food that smells like pepper spray. I go to check out and the site froze. When I went back, the order was gone. After the third time, I used seamless. That's not a good sign. The food comes and I grab my order. It has all the ingredients. Everything is just kind of bland. The meat didn't have any flavor of its own. The whole meal was just blah. My coworkers were also disappointed by the lack of flavor. I was bummed out because I was excited to try them. The food seemed fresh. Our orders were correct. The ingredients just seemed to lack flavor. I don't plan on going back again. Cannot recommend. read more

Since you're wondering... I really can't say anything bad about this place but I do feel like something was missing flavor wise. The food was good, and I have had it a second time but something is missing. I ordered a Create your own Bowl with sweet & "spicy" chicken, seasoned brown rice, pinto beans, hot salsa, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Also ordered the Spicy Queso with chips which I'd say were the star of the show. As far as the restaurant itself, he inside is nice and clean and the staff are fairly nice, especially the young man that has rang me up both times. It gives the vibe of chipotle but it missing the flavor of chipotle? I would definitely order the chips and queso again but may pass on the bowl. read more

Sometimes you want more than food inspired by food- you know? Like authentic food! QDOBA is what Chipotle was inspired to be like. Authentic! I created my own vegetarian bowl and was quite satisfied! I was a little surprised by the guacamole though- I felt it could've had a little more lime, cilantro and tomato but it still hit the spot. Overall, I will come and eat here when I'm in the area. My order was with a group order today. I ordered a Protein Chicken Bowl. It looked amazing in the advertisement, in the menu, but the chicken was spongy and fatty covered in some brown sauce with sad fajita veggies that were slimy. I didn't realize I needed this place in my life until it opened. I have dined in and regularly get takeout here. Really nice staff and manager (who helped me find my wallet when I dropped it inside). I have only gotten the chicken burrito bowl which I highly recommend. I have never been a Chipotle person(since I kinds feel all of their options taste the same. so I was surprised that I liked it so much. I ordered this from Uber eats and I ordered the chicken burrito meal and the steak burrito meal and the burritos were tasty! A lot of meat and beans and rice! The Chips and salsa was good but I haven't had this kind of salsa before because this kind of salsa is more liquidy and has a vinegar taste but didn't ruin the meal. I got the steak quesadilla and it tasted like dirty hotdog water. The food is soggy and heavily greased. There is no seasoning or flavor other than hotdogs! After two bites I felt nauseous. They got one star bc the queso dip was good. I'd never order from them again. read more
