I was doing laundry a few doors over from this restaurant and wanted something to munch on. I briefly looked through their menu and what piqued my interest was their a la carte tostadas. I knew immediately that I wanted one but which one? Well everyone raves about the birria so I made my choice. My tostada was made fresh, the shell still a little warm from the grease and crispy. The birria was good but it kind of just tastes like a basic stewed beef to me, unremarkable. The guacamole was nice and fresh... but! It was way over salted. I had to brush quite a bit off because paired with the birria it was a salt bomb. Also I love cheese but I wasn't feeling the cheese on this one. It didn't have much flavor so it felt like it was there for the sake of it, I took it off. Now the tostada tasted good after my alterations but it shouldn't be better after removing ingredients. I would like to try another tostada, maybe their al pastor? And I'd hope their guacamole is appropriately salted. read more

Talk about a hole in the wall amazeballs place! The smell when you walk in makes you want to order 1 of everything on the menu!! My favorite was definitely the Birria tacos. We had steak and pastor tacos. Mom had the steak tostadas crunchy and delicious. My dad is picky and eats like a child so he has the fried wings and French. He said both were great. I had to drop off my Jeep to get repaired, my wife followed me and wanted to grab lunch after she picked me up. My Yelp search led me to KTO. Walking in before noon, we have the place to ourselves. Very clean restaurant, we placed our order and chose a nice table in the middle of the restaurant. The woman taking our order was very friendly. My wife tells her no onions on her tacos (it's all good, it was loaded with raw onions) she asked where we were from, I told her we're just passing thru town. She explained the various tacos and papusas, we order ordered four Birria tacos and a pork papusa. The food was delivered, I didn't mind the raw onions. My wife pushed thru and flicked them off her tacos. The end result? Man... those tacos were bangin'! So flavorful and the Au Jus that came with the tacos gave them the extra turbo shot. Highly recommended. I'm new to Papusas and what was served to us was very good. The counter person said I made for you a special Papusa with jalapeño. I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now. So I decided to order 3 orders of Birria tacos and some plantains. It was easy to order online for pickup. When I walked in, I was greeted by a woman; she was kind, and I felt welcomed. Now the Birria tacos were so good, definitely a little pricey for 3 tacos, but Birria tacos are the hype right now. The only negative was the plantains on their menu; it says it's 6 pieces, and we only got 4. This little spot on sunrise service road heading east in bayshore is AMAZING. We stopped in and enjoyed our food there. It's a no frills spot but the food is delicious. The woman who owns it is so sweet and they're definitely busy with takeout orders. We got the birria mulita, Birria quesadilla pupusa de queso and lengua tacos. I can't normall find lengua tacos. These were cooked to perfection. It's so tender. You get three to an order. The birria mulita and the birria quesadilla come with a little cup of consomé. I wish I could have an endless bowl of it. It was so good. Go show KTO some love. I didn't get a picture of everything we ate because we just wanted to eat. Also they have this random strawberry lemonade Sunkist. Tried this place for the first time last night. My navigation took me to the mall for some reason but when I called the girl explained they're right across sunrise on the opposite service road near the aquarium. I ordered the Birria tacos and they were delicious!! They layer the cheese in the corn shell then fill it so it's nice and melted and then top with onions and cilantro. The green sauce for dipping was so good. I would definitely go back to try more dishes. It smelled very fishy when I walked in but I took my meal to go. Prices were reasonable. read more

I was really stuck between having them a 3 or a 4. Food is a 5... service is a 2-3. First impression was rough... they don't have ANY menus... like not one, nothing written on the walls or a pamphlet to look at. They didn't seem to think that was strange. A restaurant should hands down have a menu. They rely on you using a QR code to see what they have to offer. Internet service is not very great there and no wifi password was offered to assist with that. After a bit the one lady called out to us to ask if we have ordered a bean and cheese pupusa or just cheese. When she realized she had gotten our order wrong she asked if we would just take the wrong order or if we wanted to wait for them to make the correct order. No apologies on the mistake and the tone on "Fine, you can wait for us to make the bean and cheese one" was really not what I would have expected anted or expected. I shouldn't feel like I'm putting you out when you are the one who made a mistake. But the food was legit. So I'm going to give a four and hope the service was just a bad day and not the norm. The horchata was the best one I've ever had and really brought the cinnamon right up to where it's flavorful, but not overpowering. Hubby like his mango juice. We got the birria tacos and they had a great crunch to them. Meat was flavorful too. It also came with a little sauce on the side that is not what I'm used to, almost seemed mustard based, but it brought just a little heat and some tang. When we got our pupusas they were also yummy. The sauce that came with them lacked flavor, but the pupusas were flavorful enough that they didn't need the sauce. I saw that it was under new management, so maybe they just need to make some adjustments and train their staff a little better. But the food is, for sure, yummy. read more
