This venue exudes a sultry, sexy, and mysterious atmosphere. The lighting adds to the relaxing ambiance. Every table appeared to have a constant supply of food and drinks throughout the night. The band was outstanding, playing smooth jazz throughout the evening. Guests have the option to sit at a table or the bar, and every seat in the house offers a great view. It is recommended to check the dress code prior to visiting. Parking options are available in the nearby area. This venue is ideal for an intimate date night or a fun night out with friends.

I love the art deco vibe here. The piano is gorgeous. The bartenders were so knowledgeable and helpful. I commented on one of the ingredients in my husband's cocktail, and the kind cocktail creator scrambled to show us the bottle and pour us a sip. Above and beyond for sure! I can't wait to come back here.

This place is 10/10 . For cocktails , ambience, environment, vibe and service . Attached to Ruxton steakhouse . Very sexy atmosphere perfect for date night or a cute girls night stop . I loved the live performance as well. Would def come back.

This review is solely based on my experience with the bartender at the bar. I dine out solo a lot and always sit at the bar. I have never been splashed in the face during the shaking of a drink that was being made by the bartender. The bartender was of a different race and seemed annoyed by my presence from the jump. I had been splashed in the face twice until a customer of his race came and sat next to me. I did pay attention to his behavior while the woman was seated next to me and his drink mixing wasn't as aggressive. I had to go to the bathroom during my visit and told him I would pay before going to the bathroom so he wouldn't make any assumptions about me. I asked him to keep my drink behind the bar because the woman was still seated next to me. I came back and the woman eventually left. I was still finishing my drink and I was splashed 2 additional times. The last time I made him aware of what he was doing. His apology was disingenuous and passive aggressive. I left after this even though I had intentions on ordering desert and listening to the musicians that were about to get started. I did inform the manager about my experience prior to leaving. I'm leaving the review bc the experience still bothers me. If they have cameras at the bar I'm sure my reaction to the splashing can be observed.

I was invited to this Speakeasy for my good girl friend birthday. I have been in the Harbor East area and walked past this place and never knew it was there. It was a great surprise to try a new place. The atmosphere is so cozy and dimly lit with a huge patio in the center. I was able to try street parking with a paid meter. I was able to order a lite bite and a customized cocktail which was great. The live soft music to fit the vibe is a great touch. Will definitely plan to visit again

My friends and I walked over to Order of the Ace after dinner at The Ruxton Steakhouse. Based on the reviews I thought it was a speakeasy which is usually unassuming and has a secret entrance or door. You can walk through the front door to get to the bar or if leaving The Ruxton it is on your right side before leaving out. Order of the Ace definitely gave speakeasy vibes with the retro furniture, artwork, and jazz music. This is a sophisticated bar and lounge that seats 40 which offers live entertainment every night. It is for the girls that can appreciate a well made craft cocktail. There are only drinks offered here so if you are hungry you should dine before arriving. The drinks are pricey but are of great quality. Reservations can be made or you can stop in and hope seats are available. You must be 21 or older and everyone gets carded. We were a party of 4 and found seats at the bar. Our bartender was friendly and personable. The live jazz music was very nice and we were able to still hear each other talk. This is a great place to take a date or meet up with friends for drinks.

Fantastic experience twice in 3 weeks. Great customer service, atmosphere, and beverages. September 15th, 2024 I visited this establishment w friends and family. We were assisted by Abby who had an awesome, bubbly, and kind personality. We ordered quite a few items. As far as beverages, we ordered Tree of Life, Secret Handshake, and Bohemian Grove. There was a 4th beverage that Abby made for my gf that wasn't on the menu, yet was perfect for her. She loved it. All 4 beverages were well crafted with care, and perfect. October 4th, 2024 Celebratory Outing w Hubby I visited this establishment w Hubby. I really wanted him to try one of their crafted Cocktails. It was soooo cold in this establishment that we requested 2 Hot Toddy's instead. Selina was a great bar tender to us. She quickly assisted w our beverages, and made them perfectly. She checked back in on us to make sure we were satisfied, and maintained professional pleasantries. At some point, the temperature was regulated. We were happy!! It allowed us to stay a little longer and maximize our experience. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Cozy corner seat facing the bar.

We are visiting and will come here on the next visit too. Order of the Ace is for those who want to enjoy the company of those who they came with, good drinks and a live performance that adds to the experience. The bar is beautiful - you could come here alone or in a small group. Really enjoyed the soft lighting and music that doesn't take away from the ambience.

Love the live music until ten. Luxe vibe inside with plenty of space to enjoy solo or with a group. I went solo. Justin was the best! I almost didn't go because the menu didn't have enough gin options for me, but Justin heard the type of cocktails I like and made me two off menu that were soooo good. Great customer service!

Order of the Ace is fantastic overall and is a perfect place for a date or celebration with friends. The drinks are a bit on the pricier end, starting at $20. If you like fruity sweet cocktails, I would definite go for the Bohemian Grove. I would not get the Aqua Vitae, as it looks pretty much just like water - very boring presentation - and tastes like straight up liquor. It's a very strong drink. If you don't drink alcohol, you can order a mocktail for $20. They don't have a mocktail menu and it is ore of a "dealer's choice." The server/ bartender will ask you a couple of questions (ie. Sweet? Fruity? What flavors do you like? Dislike?) Service was fantastic and very quick. Although we did make a reservation for 8:45pm, we still had to wait 15-20 minutes when we got there, even though it did not seem too busy inside. They also did not check my ID at all The vibes inside are amazing. There's live music every night, you just have to check who's playing with their schedule online. It is also not too dark inside.

**gorgeous, swanky interior, amazing live jazz. Service was subpar My friend and I made a reservation on a Wednesday night which was easy enough. This bar is located in Harbor East, so street parking is available, as are garages. I was very excited to try this place, and the drinks did not disappoint! Very inventive and tasty. I got the Secret Handshake, which has vodka, agricole rum, and fruity notes. Very smooth and the lemon peel garnish was a nice touch! My friend got the Allegory of the Cave, which has Japanese whiskey, bermutto, among other things. He really enjoyed it! Although he said the plum at the bottom was extremely sour (which I had warned him would be!) The live jazz was great, but be aware that it ends on weekdays at 10pm. So unfortunately we only heard a few minutes before they ended for the night. The inside is spacious and open. The regular seats and tables are along the walls, while the piano and other instruments are right in the center. The bar seats are in the very back. Given it was a weekday night, it wasn't very busy. Unfortunately, I found the service subpar. There was no hostess when we arrived (and we waited for a few minutes), so we had to seat ourselves. But when we asked the bartender, she said there is always a hostess. So that was very confusing? After we sat down, we also did not get served for more than 10 minutes, despite there only being 4 or so other people there. Very strange. Once we finally flagged down the bartender, the service became much smoother thereafter. So I imagine this is a kink they need to work out (understandable, as they opened very recently). I would still happily come back though!

I ordered the Bohemian Grove. It was a balanced cocktail and left a slight sour after taste. It was unique and delicious

My best friend and I went to Order of Ace, and as you walk in you, you can feel the sophisticated and sensual vibes. The cocktails are unique and fun. I suggest listening to your servers' suggestions and going outside your usual drinks. Last but not least, the live jazz was the cherry on top of the experience. They played for most of the night. We were captivated by how great they were. I will be back again.

Popped in for drink (mocktail) after having dinner at The Ruxton. It's beautiful art deco cocktail bar that's connected to The Ruxton. It is a complete vibe. Very intimate. I believe it's 12 small tables and a small bar. The live music is perfect. You can enter it from the restaurant but it also has its own seperate entrance. Mocktails are even more expensive here than the Ruxton. My mojito mocktail was $23. Service was good.

So we got settled immediately and started ordering. Our gracious server asked for drinks, which have a bottomless option during brunch. We could pick from mimosas, crushes, sangria and bloody marys. I tried everything but the bloody marys, and while they were good, whew there was a lot of ice in the mimosa... I'm not used to ice there, so it threw me off but it was still good! The REAL highlight was the food... the item I got changed my life: Crab. Cake. Eggrolls. They came with this amazing sweet chili sauce and were so filling and delicious! I also got chicken & waffle sliders to go that had a nice kick and the waffle texture was great! My cousin enjoyed his food as well. Also, shout out to the bagel wall that's on the way to the bathroom. It had great options and all the fixings! If I wasn't full I would've gotten one myself. I will return here for brunch.

Its…read moreusually hard to get a breakfast buffet wrong but unfortunately this buffet experience was lackluster. They offered a variety of items: deviled eggs, scrambled eggs, chicken and waffles, beef and chorizo quesadillas, sausage, home fries, and French toast. They advertised fruit salad on the menu but they didn't have it out on the day we went. For starters, the food was lukewarm. Everything could have tasted so much better if it was warm. Even when they would refill the pans, everything was still not warm enough. The restaurant was not packed but they were slow to refill for the parties that were there. When we tried to go back for a second plate, most of the items weren't replenished and the line was getting longer. It was so bad that one group asked to pay for their drinks and leave because they weren't able to get any food. My option of each item: Deviled eggs- yolk mixture was on the drier side and bland Scrambled eggs- they were ok. Just needed to be warm Chicken and waffles- it was giving "chicken tender on eggo waffle" chicken was better than the bland waffle. It also didn't help that the syrup they had was cold and thick. It made the waffle (and French toast) colder and hard to swallow. French toast- the first batch was (with the exception of being cold) perfectly cooked and dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. The refill batches were so burnt and hard to chew and they didn't bother putting powdered sugar on them. Again, the cold syrup didn't help. Beef and chorizo quesadillas- they may have been a crowd favorite because getting a second serving was hard because they kept going quickly and took a while to replenish. They just needed to be warmer and served with sour cream. Home fries- great with the peppers and onions. Just need to be warmer. Sausage- my least favorite thing because it didn't taste like Sausage. It was very dry. Sadly, the food was a epic fail. This may be a great place for cocktails because the bartender mixed our margaritas perfectly. They had a Build Your Own Margarita menu with many different flavor options. I opted for the watermelon margarita with a Tajin rim. Delicious! My friend had a pineapple mango margarita with sugar rim and he was impressed also. The drinks earned them an extra star because otherwise, I think the food and the slow refilling of the buffet earned it 2 stars.
