We wanted wings and the wings are really good here... they are on the small side for my tastes but the flavors are good and the prices are not bad. Another nice thing is they are open late even on week days. We got the wings... bbq, chipotle honey hot, and teriyaki. All were good! We got a couple sides of fries and really only finished one of them. Their fries are good too. I'm not sure where they get their ranch but I'm not a fan. It does not taste like ranch! My youngest likes it but I can pass. We did ask for a bowl of carrots though and basically got about 6 carrot sticks that had been sitting for a while. TacoMac is my go-to place for beer and wings. It's kind of astounding to me that the rating at this location is so low, as I've never received nothing but good service here. Sure the place can get busy on days when the games are on, but it is a still a great place to just sit back, relax, and enjoy some awesome bar food. The walls are covered in sports and local brewery memorabilia. The entryway to the bathrooms is lined with all the names of those who have received their Brewniversity "degrees," which is TacoMac's loyalty program. This location offers bar, indoor and outdoor seating which is pet friendly. To date I have tried so many items off of their menu, but as previously stated this is my go-to for wings. My favorite wings here are the Hot Honey Mustard and the Asian Sweet Heat. On this visit I opted for a Southern Chicken Sandwich solely because it was topped with the 79' Sauce which accompanies their Philly Egg Roll. All of the food I've had here is great, and perfect for those days when you just want to get a quick meal for dinner. read more

Hadn't been to this location in a while so we decided to give it another try. Nope. Nothing has changed. Still has dirty mops hanging just outside the kitchen. Servers still sit in the bar area wrapping silverware while you wait endlessly for a drink on a busy afternoon. Food was good, but this was our last visit here. I had some hot wings which were delicious. A couple of Moscow mules which were also delicious. My server, I think her name was Haley was very kind and on point. We visited this location recently (which was the first time in a while) and I must say it is much cleaner than when we used to go to this location! Their patio is awesome, seeing how it's located in a strip mall. The service was not amazing (just slow and a lot of tables and short staffed for a Thursday night), but our server was so sweet and we didn't have any issues, other than just waiting for a while. My husband and I had a very bad experience at this location. We were part of a group and ordered our food first. It took over 40 mins to get our food. I even asked the manager where our food was due to seeing other tables who came in after us receiving their food before us. When we received our food some of our wings were burnt but they tried to disguise them by turning them over. The fact our waitress did not apologize for the wait was pretty sad too and allowed for the burnt food to come to the table. The manager was informed by my husband about the burnt wings and he did not come over to the table to look and our waitress was quite rude when we told her too about them. Her answer was I asked if everything was ok?? Poor management and poor wait staff. Will not dine there again. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the food here! I was able to eat with my gluten allergy, rare at a pub. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the rice had a hint of lime. Broccoli was steamed. It didn't need all the spice. My husband enjoyed the wings and my brother-in-laws enjoyed their salad and shrimp tacos. TVs are everywhere so the sports buffs in the group loved that, but not too loud so we could still have good conversation. Beth was a great server and the manager worked with me to get something I could eat. They have a gluten free menu but some of it has cross contaminated issues unfortunately. I'm a long time patron of various Taco Mac locations over the years, and also a frequent critic. My wife and I had actually stopped patronizing this location due to service issues. Circumstances led us back here on 3/27/25, and we were very pleasantly surprised. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server, Christine, arrived promptly and cheerfully provided great service including checking on us frequently. We primarily come here for the beer, but the chicken wings were good and properly cooked. I love the super large screen TV at this location for sports. We'll be back soon. read more

We had the chicken tenders plate with tater tots. Both were beyond excellent!!! Best fried chicken I've had EVER outside of my own home! I was always hesitant about coming to this Taco Mac because I've always received bad service here but I was pleasantly surprised when I visited on a Friday evening. It wasn't too crowded for a Friday night - we were seated promptly and our server Senterra took really good care of us. We wanted a light late night dinner, so my friend and I ordered the 10pc wings with fries (half hot buffalo and half dry lemon pepper) and the new philly egg roll. Taco mac wings are always solid and they are good - philly egg rolls tasted really good but it was a little pricy.. $6.99 for two egg rolls -- I do admit that inflation is among us but I just felt it was a bit too pricy. The taste was good and I loved the dipping sauce it came out with. The one thing I really like about Taco Mac is their ranch sauce -- it's so much creamier than a typical ranch or like a Hidden Valley ranch sauce. I love dipping the buffalo wings, celery and even fries in it Overall, I'm glad I gave this place a chance again. Service was terrible! After waiting about ten minutes for service, One waitress took our order & ten minutes later another waiter came by to take our order. I explained we already gave our order, I was told previous waitress was backlogged! If she has our order why not put it in? Why not take our order from previous waitress? Being member of brewmaster neither waiter or waitress could get my record. Gave them driver info and brewmaster info. No luck. Place is Filthy!! Dirty tables sitting for 40 minutes with dirty plates and glasses from previous customers. My wings where dry and warm at best. Chicken fingers dry and barely warm. Never again!!! Yesterday my daughter and a big group of friends made a reservation to be seated, the only star this place gets is because they managed to sit down at a table. The service was horrendous, the waitress was so rude to them, even though they were being respectful and polite with ordering their food. If she had trouble with a big group of people they should've assigned another waiter, it's not like they didn't mention that there wasn't a lot of people coming. The food was not worth the wait, about half the people there didn't even get their food after two hours of waiting, and they expected them to pay even after all that. When the waitress gave one of the girls a receipt for something she didn't end up getting, all the waitress did was crumble up the paper in her face and say she didn't get to pay (which was a relief but it was super rude) I do NOT recommend coming here even if it's just with a few friends, trust me it's not worth it. read more

Earlier today (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) there was a chimney fire that resulted in my family's cabin in Ellijay burning to the ground. Thankfully everyone got out safe, no neighboring homes were affected, but needless to say it has been an exhausting day dealing with the aftermath. We luckily have friends in Alpharetta that welcomed us. My partner was hoping to catch the last of today's football games once all the (literal and metaphorical) smoke settled, so we went to this Taco Mac. The manager struck up conversation with us while they cleared off a booth for us. We shared our story from the day. When we asked for the bill, we were told the meal was on the house.
