Some of the workers here are so rude. I have been here so many times with friends and sometimes just myself. I have had really rude severs that would have an attitude for no reason. Me and friends all agree that out of all the taco macs in ga. This is the worst one out of the bunch. The last time I came here. The host asked me booth or table but I couldn't hear her bc she said it so quietly. When we got to the table she asked me again. I told her a booth and she gave me an attitude saying why I didn't answered her in the first place. I just didn't hear her. Last time, me and friends, group of 7, ate here and we waited 30 mins for our wings to come out. I asked this sever one question. Just one question in the 30 mins. She gave me an attitude and said we ordered 70 wings and made seem like it was our fault that it was coming out slow. I feel like she could've just told us our estimated time or actually just communicated with us. Me and friends declared to not come here again and would rather go to the other locations. read more

This restaurant had the absolute best wings I've had In years. The service was perfect for Covid restrictions. Regular visits every half hour with questions that applied to my party. Accommodations were made for an unhappy part of my party with no hesitation from the staff. I'd ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this restaurant to ANYONE TO TO THE AREA. read more

I'm a huge Taco Mac fan, and I'm thrilled to have a Taco Mac within walking distance. The wings were fantastic, as usual. The service was great and our server was attentive and friendly. This Taco Mac in particular has a great layout and unique decor. I'm giving it three stars for the following reasons: -The bar area is opened to the outside, which is fun, but it let a lot of flies in and they were a nuisance, even with us sitting on the opposite end of the restaurant. -I'm a Brewniversity member accustomed to a pretty hefty beer selection from Taco Mac, but the selection here was sorely lacking. -Our wings, which were again fantastic, came with the celery and carrots buried in the wings and sauce. Nobody wants hot soggy veggies with their wings. Nobody. It's embarrassing that I need to explain this. They need to be separated and cold. WE ALL KNOW THIS. Place is clean and decent but can never get good help. Our waitress is always gone, beer has been empty then asked if I'd like another. Watched it sit at the bar for over 5 minutes when she knew I was out. Just could careless any more. But they want that tip. Ordered delivery, burgers and wings, BOTH TERRIBLE! Cold soggy fries, overcooks burger with unmelted cheese, and the hamburger bun hard as a rock! My boyfriend and I ordered the black bean veggie burgers through delivery because we are both vegetarians and received actual meat patties instead of the veggie patties. He ate his and I realized halfway through mine. With meatless patties it can be hard to tell these days but I felt like something was up when my stomach started to get upset so I checked the burger. I thought I would give this place a try, I knew it new a recently open place! By the cars out side I thought it was busy but when I went in it was not that busy. The hostess sat me at a table very quickly and after that it went bad! After five min. With on waitress assisting me the hostess came and got my drink order and apologized. I waited another 45 min. before the waitress came to get my food order without an apology for taking so long, remember it was not busy , it was six wings and a salad. Service was good, I had Nicole tonight. Usually love the Queso w/seasoned beef but the texture was runny and grease was visible from beef, usually not like that at other locations. I remember how I couldn't wait to come visit this location. When they first opened I would go with my family and friends about every week twice a week! The staff was so friendly and everyone looked like they loved their job! Unfortunately my past 3 visits weren't the best. Today I came to taco Mac and I walked out before I could even order food. The moment we got greeted by the host she walked us to our table upon walking up to the table we pass our soon to be waitress and host exchanged a couple words of "oh my god" and the host responds with "i know" referring to us being seated in her section.... My partner and I come here a lot because we live nearby. I have had good experiences and horrible ones depending on the server and the night. Tonight we arrived at 5 PM. Our server didn't come to our table until 5:20 and when I tried to order drinks and food, she said she had to get her notepad to write out orders down and didn't come back for another 20 minutes. When I did order our food, it took almost an hour to get it. Tonight I also have food poisoning that I suspect is from that food. I won't be returning. read more

I love the Lawrenceville-Suwanee location! Eberyone is super friendly, warm & welcoming; it's like a second home. The staff is wonderful, attentive & more importantly proactive. My favorite bartender, Rob Paulding, makes the best drinks & is one of the funniest and nicest people I know. Amber A. is another favorite of mine. Honestly the food at taco mac really isn't bad at all but service is really terrible, were told its coming up soon 20mins later it never popped up and they had forgotten what we had ordered even though it was written down. So while our server was busy serving others and completely forgoten about us or even asking if everything was ok, so we asked this bus boy named Curtis, for some some simple things like napkins and ketchup and almost immediatly was given to us, He definitely needs a raise compared to our actual server who was honestly not that great at all taking long long minutes. read more

Last night I dined in with friends to watch the braves game. It was a busy night obviously and that wasn't a problem. Our waitress was lovely especially under the circumstances. My issue is with the manager that came to speak with us. I believe his name was Antwan. He approached our table with no mask and an unpleasant attitude. He breathed all over our food and in this time that is unacceptable. He wasn't very approachable and blamed all the problems of the night on the server. I just believe that if you're a manager you take the responsibility for your teams mess ups and you don't single out people for mistakes especially in front of the guest. So this is my third time to Taco Mac and this was one of the most unpleasant experiences here. Our waitress never came to check on us or our table. One of our table members had to go get her beer from the bar. We watched staff members do pull ups from one of the rafters while the others looked around watched. It took over 30 minutes for our appetizers to come out and then another 30 for them to mess up my order and never received an apology or way to fix it. Order Uber eats with them. Usually the only place that's open pretty late and will still deliver. Got the roast wings and are friend hard. My go to flavor is always the cajun voodoo wings. Came in on a day that wasn't even busy. There were about 6 other tables. But there were plenty of servers. We were seated in an area where our server was "in a meeting". Wtf? My friend and I sat there for about 20 minutes. We never even got a drink order in with another server or anything. Someone came to us about 3 times and told us our server would be with us soon. About 30 minutes in and another table is seated right next to us. Within minutes there was a server taking their order. We still hadn't even heard from our server yet. But they were right next to us?? Was their server not also our server?? Before you even have to ask, yes they were. I see a lot of good reviews for the food, wish I would have been able to try it.
