It's obvious that they must have ran out of the correct size to go boxes and decided to just take off the bottom layers of the cake. First time dining here. Not bad, but not great either. The appetizer was the star of the meal. Carne con queso if you go here TRY IT! It was deliciousness , cheesy goodness as the children say. I tried the taco platter with steak, shrimp, and chicken. They were all decent but the shrimp was the best by far. The coleslaw was fabulous. They have the perfect recipe here but it was too creamy towards the bottom of the dish. The seating had really high separators between each booth and tables were spread further apart complying with social distancing measures. Outside seating available and the staff wore face mask. This was our first visit to Taco Mac in Newnan. Went in around 4:30 last Friday afternoon to beat the crowd. We requested a booth due to both of us having back issues and the chairs for the tables didn't look too comfortable. We were told that even though there were around 8 booths open, that we had to sit at a table due to lack of waitstaff and impending shift change. The chairs weren't terrible but we'd have preferred a booth. No big deal really. Our server was S Henry and she was very attentive and we enjoyed our visit. I was impressed with the beer list they had. You had to scan a QR code to access it and once the site came up, it had the option to use a virtual assistant. I selected that and was asked about 5 questions, that seemed to have little to do with a beer selection, but it recommended a particular beer to me and I tried it. It was excellent! We are looking forward to going back and trying some other menu items as what we selected from the appetizer to desert was very good. read more

I have to say I am very pleased with how management (Mike) took care of me and my fiancé after a mishap on the previous visit. He was very gracious and apologetic but more importantly he recognized the problem and applied a solution. We went during lunch hours and sat on the patio. My waitress, Kaytlyn, was awesome! She has to be the best waitress in the entire establishment. Her smile and professionalism was impeccable. She was very knowledgeable of all food items and her bubbly attitude was just what I needed after a long work week. The food was especially delicious, hot, and made to order. The only late night restaurant in Newnan . The have wonderful staff. The are very kind . The food is awful. I asked the waitress if the queso was spicy . It was good but slightly spicy . It was delivered in the most unappetizing way with broken chips . I asked are the tacos spicy ? She said no . We got the tacos for a kid - they where the so spicy you could not eat them . First time we ate here, all was good. Food and service were fine. Today we decided to go again and our experience was MUCH different. Server was friendly. But that's where it ended. Nachos came out and were wrong. 2nd plate of nachos came out filled with jalapeños when we'd asked for them to be on the side. Once the 3rd plate came out, it was correct but server told us they were out of fried pickle batter so they were having to batter some quickly. They held our wings until those came out about 20 min later. Then another half hour went by before we got our wings. They're known for wings - why did it take so long?!? But guess what? We had asked for all boneless and they all came out as bone-in ‍ So back to waiting again. We had to ask for silverware. We had to ask for plates and believe it or not...the manager brought those to us and they were dirty so we had to wait for clean ones. The entire experience was a disaster. Our server sat at a booth next to us with a friend. Thought that was unprofessional. A larger girl had on such short shorts that I saw her butt cheeks. My husband joked that he didn't realize we were at Hooter's. The attire was also quite unprofessional. When we were brought the bill, we received a "sorry there were some hiccups". We go takeout from Taco Mac tonight. Ordered online at 6:22 and was told to pick up at 6:49. Tropicalia Fried Fish and Chips and Grilled Chicken. Got there a little early and waited and waited. Asked several times and they said they were waiting on my fish. Waited again and finally asked for a refund at 7:40. They went in back and immediately brought out my food. It was all stone cold. They did give me a refund on the chicken. The chicken was supposed to come with cilantro lime rice and brussel sprouts. No rice was included. As you probably know, fried fish is NOT good cold. Pick-up times that are estimated at ~20 minutes have taken ~60 minutes for three straight visits here. Food is average and the kitchen will correct it if it comes out wrong. Servers for the most part are good to deal with. The bar, however, is a different story. Avoid Fridays at lunch if at all possible. Made the mistake of coming 2 Fridays in a row for lunch. Furst time sat at the bar. Bartender was busy doing nothing but basically walking around. I joked with my partner to watch and verify. Nothing really done just walking around. Drink glass sat empty for over 15 minutes. Couple at a tall table behind me tried to flag her down to let her know. It became a game after a while. How long before she came back to check on us. Second visit we sat at a table. Server, Nicole, was a rockstar. Very informative and personable. First drinks took 15 minutes. I could see the bar and the bartender just wondering around doing nothing. I did see the taller redhead, sorry do not know her name, getting drinks and hustling. I made the mistake of ordering a 2nd beer. 18 minutes to get it. Nicole came to check on us a number of times very apologetic about it. Also noting it was a normal occurrence with this particular bartender. One cousin ordered a long island, I ordered an 1800 margarita, and my other cousin ordered a peach mule. My cousins eventually both ordered barbecue shrimp tacos but when they saw my wrap they decided to get that as well to split According to them I always make good food decisions lol. Ambiance: it's not terrible but if annoying Chive videos on constant loop is not your thing, beware. I don't know why mopping floors is nonexistent in restaurants, TM is no different. Oh, the men's room is a train wreck. Overall, it's dark, like really bar dark, except outdoors seating. Food: pub food, never consistent. In Usher voice, it feels so good to be back!  This was the go to back in the day lol.  By that I mean a few years ago when I used to stay in ATL.  This is a great hangout place, catch up with friends/family.  So since I'm back in A-Town had to hit this place up. Ordered my traditional Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Onion Rings and we also ordered Chips & Salsa, Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Grilled Salmon, Grilled Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Spicy Black Bean Veggie Burger and drinks. Chips & Salsa ($4.99) - The house made salsa is da bomb and the chips are good too.  Always get this - it's a really good app. Spinach & Artichoke Dip ($9.49) - Cheesefest but still good, wouldn't get this all the time but was good to try.   Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Onion Rings ($10.29 + .80) - Love this dish.  I get the hot buffalo sauce - extra of course.  It comes with a classic side, but I always get the onion rings which is a premium one so an extra 80 cents. Grilled Salmon ($14.99) - Has a choice of two seasonings - Chili Mango or Korean Black Garlic, went with the second.  It was good and the Salmon was cooked well. Grilled Buffalo Chicken Wrap ($9.99) - Didn't try it, obviously a healthier option to what I ordered. Spicy Black Bean Veggie Burger ($10.49) - The patty was pretty tasty, just tried a little bit. Drinks - Beer, Top Shelf Margarita, Old Fashioned and Ultimate Lit cocktails.  Drinks were decent, it really depends on which TM you go to. Quantity - Super filling, had some to go as well. Ambience - Requested outdoor patio seating - puppy on board.  It's a sports bar typical fare. Service - Really good, our server was very helpful and attentive even though it was crazy busy.  There was actually a line outside. Spice - 3/5, Going with my hot buffalo sauce, it's not spicy as but very flavourful. Taste - So so good.  I know it's fried goodness but it's not like I have it all the time so it's fine to fat out every now and then. This is definitely one of the places I miss from Atlanta - it's a chain and there's pretty much one in every city.  It's just a fun, casual place to hang out and gets pretty busy in the evenings.  Open late, kid and dog friendly - what more could you want. read more

If I could NOT give a star rating, I wouldn't...I have to post my review. Our server did a great job and our experience wasn't her fault. The food was horrible. We waited over an hour to get our food after we had order. It had been sitting in the window to long and everything came out not even warm. The egg on my burger was so over cooked; it was like rubber. The crispy honey Brussels sprouts was under statement...they were burnt beyond crispy and didn't have any honey. When we asked for the manager to come out, it took her over ten minutes to come to our table...unacceptable. Then when they brought my replacement order of the Clermont burger...this time the fried egg was WAY UNDERCOOKED....the egg white was still clear .
