Food was less than mid, service was slow, asked for more chips and salsa brought them as we had finished the meal. Never came to bring water refills. Table was sticky and the place was crawling with flys, could barely stand it. I would never return nor recommend the place to anyone. read more

We happened across this restaurant when the nearby restaurant we were going to go to was closed and we didn't want a big chain. It was empty when we came in. Literally empty at 1145am on Friday. We were promptly greeted and the staff were all nice. The man that seemed like the manager was very helpful. We ordered two lunch specials and I was definitely disappointed in the size of my lunch chimi (it was about 3 inches long) but it tasted good. As someone said before portions were kids size. I found that to be true on my entree for sure. Plate was full of beans and rice but only had a teeny, tiny 3 inch chimi. My hubby loved his huevos con chorizo and they gave him a lot more on his plate but only 2 tortillas so he had to ask for more. The homemade tortillas were amazing though. Overall a good experience but I can't imagine paying dinner prices there unless the entree portions are 3x what was at lunch. We'd probably try at lunch again before we would try dinner. read more

Great MOLCAJETE!! Too many Mexican places don't quite get this right!! They did.. service was good.. chips and salsa and a Brazilian drink that was good .. but not quite the original one.. but that's ok !! I liked it!!.. place is huge with a side area curtained off that when they have live music it is a club!! Nice bar.. huge menu and selections that incorporate other international fare! I was surprised when I walked in for a late lunch. It looks more like a nightclub than a restaurant. It looks like it could be quite fun in the evening. I got the Chili Relleno. It was ok. The coating around the pepper was a bit soggy, but it tasted good. The tortillas were excellent. They were obviously homemade. My companion ordered the Fajita Quesadilla. It looked great! Full of steak, peppers and onions. I wish I had ordered it! The guacamole was perfect! Take it from a Texan, I know my guacamole. The service was fine. The manager came by to talk to us. I also got the house margarita and it definitely had a noticeable amount of tequila in it. A little pricier than what I expected, but we will be back. read more

Living up in Harrogate My husband and I came in for the first time and oh my god I'm so happy we did. This is by far the best Mexican food we have had since we moved here two years ago from California ! The restaurant was immaculate, the manager was a sweetheart as was our waitress ! Our meals were both super delicious and the prices totally reasonable! I highly recommend this amazing establishment - we live over a hour from this amazing establishment but this is our new favorite restaurant and we will definitely be back ! read more

This place has the best authentic Mexican food I've had in Knoxville. It is also the only restaurant that serves delicious Peruvian food! I would strongly recommend the lomo saltado or Causa Rellena w hot sauce. Everyone is friendly and polite. We asked our bartender/server to make us a cocktail she didn't know about and when out of her way to look it up and make them for us. Definitely going to continue coming back here for the awesome food, drink, and vibes. read more

Great salsa and chips. Great Queso. Amazing Quesadilla. The restaurant is very cute. The owner Edward is very personable and present asking how everything was. All the meat in our meals was tender and flavorful. We hope to become regulars here. And it's not on the menu but they have good churros! All they are missing is ice cream! read more

I would give it less if I could. I ordered a drink and it took 15 minutes to get my first drink. My second drink I had to cancel. I ordered it at 7. I paid at 7:42 and had to cancel my drink because it still hadn't come. I got a burrito and there was no guacamole or sour cream, which I asked for on the side. She tried to charge me for that and my second drink. It was so loud In there. We were in the corner of the restaurant and I couldn't even hear myself think let alone the people I was at a table with. It was awful. Our server avoided us. She would help every table but ours. And it was FREEZING in there. My burrito was big and my margarita wasn't. The burrito was $15 and my marg was $13. I can get a bigger marg for less at any other Mexican restaurant. Rant over but not worth the time or the headache, literally. read more

This is a night club, not a restaurant. If you simply want Mexican food, go elsewhere. The restaurant feels dirty/grimy, both physically and energetically. No taste, no style, and most importantly...no soul (just like the majority of people that actually go to night clubs).
