After finishing your meal, you will say, as I did, "I have had much better." Oklahoma has some damn good small town Mexican restaurants; this is not one of them. In Vinta there are two other Mexican restaurants. Check the reviews and see what you think. If you don't mind driving a few more miles, stop in Chelsea. If you are headed south on 69, the first good Mexican restaurant is in Chouteau. There, that is all you need to know. If you are bored, here is the rest of the review. My wife cashed in her chips early. She pushed the chips and salsa away and said, "I don't care for the salsa at all." It is just tomato sauce, too much garlic and a little cilantro. The Picante was the same only it had a little bite from chili pepper. I ordered a relleno and tamale, the #43 Combo. My wife had some kind of a burrito. Neither plate of food was bad. The tamale had chili on it which was good. The relleno was average. The burrito my wife had was filled with Chopped steak, beans and guacamole, rolled in a large flour tortilla, all covered with yellow queso. What was really good about this burrito was the portion of steak in relation to the other fillings. There was a good serving of steak in it. No rice filler and the beans were not overloaded either. Both plates came with rice and beans. The restaurant is very large, with a well-worn interior and typical Oklahoma small town Mexican restaurant grungy restrooms. The service was adequate. And then there is the credit card fee! Overall, a 3-star rating which means; OK, but I won't be back and wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

The quesadilla was really good, the beans were cold, and the rice needed more time cooking cause it had that little crunch. This spot is normally really good. Some people people have off days. I did something in Los Garcia's that I have never done in a small-town Mexican restaurant. I was…read moresurprised that it was necessary. But, enough was enough. I needed the town of Langley as I work toward earning my Mexican food merit badge. There are only two Mexican restaurants in town. After reading the reviews they both seem a little sketchy. Since the reviews and ratings of each restaurant were so similar, I figured the only logical way to decide, was to evaluate the restaurants based on the reviewers' pictures. Los Garcia's seemed to be a little grungier and more worn. Indisputable qualities that indicate an authentic Mexican restaurant. Los Garcia's was the choice and a good choice it was. A very friendly, older Hispanic couple own the business. They have been folding burritos and slapping refried beans on customers' plates for over 16 years. The decaying little building occupies a wedge-shaped corner lot, between Main and Cherokee Ave., just east of First St. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, but shows its age from years of wear. It is a typical Oklahoma small town Mexican restaurant that serves a more traditional lightly seasoned style of Mexican food. My wife had the 8. Chili Verde Burrito and I had the 18. Poblano Chimichanga. Both large plates of food, check the pictures. The pork in the burrito was tasty, but a little tough. Not gristly, just not tender. My meal was a big poblano filled with strips of seasoned steak and cheese, rolled in a flour tortilla then fried to a crisp texture. A different way to prepare a relleno. I liked it. Good beans and rice. The cold front had reached Oklahoma. It was 68 in Langley this afternoon. Inside the restaurant the air conditioners were set to 65 degrees. They were performing well. It was cold enough to make your burrito shrink up. I have never had to ask at any Oklahoma Mexican restaurant, "could you please turn the AC off? The owner did, making the dining experience much more enjoyable. Los Garcia's may be the better choice of the two Mexican restaurants in Langley.

Huge portions, bottomless complimentary chips and salsa, at 2012 prices. Never understaffed yet the servers literally RUN back to the kitchen when it's busy to get more food to bring out. However,...something happened. Not good. Was excited to visit again, as everything had been quite good on previous visits and excitedly ordered the Enchiladas Banderas that had been so delicious. Three different enchiladas each with a different sauce. Beef, chicken, and ooey gooey cheese. This time both the chicken and beef filling seemed different. Both now come in a tomato based sauce. The beef filling tasted like a vinegary salsa had been used to stew the beef. Eww. REALLY no beuno. The cheese enchie? Barely melted. Grove doesn't swamp this place because they cut corners. So whadda ya do? Say something? Offer constructive criticism? Yes, because I love this place and love(d) the food, I said something. Will I return? Yes. Just for the enchiladas? Absolutely. However, I'll probably ask for different fillings.
