Listen don't judge me. I tried this place on the rec of a local and I was in shock at multiple things. Number one, the prices?!? A combo meal for less than 5$ is WILD in this day and age. Secondly, the tacos were freaking insane. I love a solid crunchy taco. I didn't even need hot sauce and that's a big deal for me. Also, the workers were super friendly and patient with me even though there was a giant line and I was asking dumb questions like what is a sancho supreme? lol Go get some crunchy tacos with sour cream and thank me later. I used to love Taco shop and man tonight my boyfriend and I went through the drive thru and ordered the Tuesday special buy one enchilada dinner and get a second one for a $1, and a super taco, a regular soft shell taco and he had a bean burrito extra cheese and I have never been more let down, the ingredients don't taste the same anymore. Not so good, I could tell instantly when I took a bite of all of what I ordered and put it down... Plus it took forever to get our food and I didn't even get salsa some mild and some hot either. Nice ambiance with good decor though the food is so-so. Got the chicken sandwich with a tostada and a crunchy taco combo while my wife got the chicken taco and burrito. The food was bland and isn't as tasty as rival Taco Bell. In addition, the food was cold when we received it. On the plus side, the cinnamon tortilla chips are good here. read more

Could be a good-to because of location. Food is okay for "fast food" fare. On the first visit I tried the taco burger. It lacked flavor and had too much lettuce. On the second visit I tried the taco salad. Again, too much lettuce and warm lettuce is not tasty. The service was efficient and food delivery prompt. The drive thru is always busy and the dining room is well attended. Ambiance is fair. All surfaces were clean and well kept. All in all, Taco Shop is a plus for the community. read more

It pains me to write this review. It's saying something when you give a budget taco joint a low score because it's not like you don't know what you're in for when you pull in their driveway. You know what you're about to do to your G.I. system. It's low-end Mexican food. That's no surprise. But it's at the top of the low-end Mexican food triangle. This 1 was earned because of the abhorrent service. I'm the only one in the drive-through yet it takes several minutes for anyone to recognize I am there. She takes my order and repeats it correctly. 12 minute wait for my food , three minutes of that was me watching the food sit by the drive-through cash register, waiting for someone to hand out the window. When I get to the man cave I open up the bag I realize absolutely every item in the bag is not correct, but for the side of watery "cheese" dip. Went inside to order and was going to use a gift card. Total was a little over $30.. they said our gift card wouldn't cover the full order (there was at least $60 remaining on said gift card). Left and went thru the drive thru.. the total was less than when we were inside AND the gift card covered the order with $20 remaining. We get home, and they completely messed up our order. Look at the taco burgers... we figured they remembered us with our order and did it on purpose. When we got to the window.. didn't greet us and didn't talk to us at all. I can count on Taco Shop for consistency, great service and tasty food. I eat their taco salad once a week. Smothered burritos, burritos and tacos are good. I think it's a bit of an acquired taste, so if you think Taco Bell is fantastic, Taco Shop has its own unique taste and textures. Very yum! read more

Taco Shop definitely has it's own flavor which makes it nice to eat there. But you pay more and their specials are not special at all. I think that they count on most of their customers not knowing how to read or do math so they can't figure out what a good deal is. Salsa is great and it is made by the Taco Shop people so you know it has it's own flavor. The amount of toppings definitely leaves something to be desired but over all it is a good place for a quick, but not cost efficient, lunch. read more

So disappointed. The last time I got the nachos they were great and actually had nacho cheese sauce instead of the barely there baked on strings of cheese I got this time. Someone also labeled a huge spoonful of beans on, probably hoping to disguise the lack of any beef whatsoever. I went in to have a couple of soft tacos. I paid with a five and the girl taking my order snatched the bill and declared it was a counterfeit, saying I couldn't have it back. The other girls there laughed at me and told me to be quiet. I felt like I had been robbed and the manager promptly threw my order out, not giving me a chance to pay. This is near my house so I eat here at least twice a week. Great deal for the price with super friendly staff. I've never had a bad experience at this location.
