Ordered 2 Birria tacos @ 15$ (per the menu ok the counter) then tried to charge me 37$. The girl at the counter insists few times that "It's tax"even after I point out that 7$ tax on 30$ bill is not "tax". She then pivots and says "oh this is not 15$, it's more". Wtf. Turns out the menu on the counter, had the wrong price. This may have been OK if it was politely pointed out. But the dismissive attitude of the girl really pissed me off. And there was no apologies offered at the end of the interaction. Birria Taco was just OK. I expected birria taco to be grilled on the flat top with crispy sides. But this was not the case. Their Birria taco is basically Birria meat plus some cheese served with a consommé. So in my book, even though the meet was OK, they birria Taco gets only a C or C plus.

We typically get take out and decided to dine in tonight. 5$ Beers 15$ for 5 tacos 8$ for 2 empanadas All the food is delicious and Mexican street taco style. Mainly a to-go spot but they gave us complimentary chips and salsa and seemed really excited that we wanted to dine in! Great ambiance, you can hear the happy cooks in the kitchen singing to Hispanic music. Happy cooks = yummy food!!

Very very veryyyy good Taco Taxi in Pearl River, NY- drove from Monroe, NY and worth it. Came here per suggestion of a co- worker. We will return- tacos are official. Guacamole and chip very good also!

Inside of the restaurant with a mini bar on the left side and the food on the right side and kitchen behind it.

4 star for the tacos and corn. The Azada/steak taco is soft and flavorful and the Cameron/shrimp taco came with 3 large whole shrimps in the taco. I did enjoy topping it off with the hot sauces. The taco shell is smaller than the typical Mexican shops but they filled it up with meat. $15 for 5 tacos means you can pick 2 different flavors - 3 of 1 kind and 2 of another kind. For todays standards, it's actually decent priced. The corn on the cob is $3 each or 2 for $5 which is also another good value. I loved how everything came out steamy fresh and hot. The tacos came with a side of cucumbers

I really almost did not want to post a review so as not to blow this place up. But we went back for a second time within a week and it was just as great as the first time. This place is a hidden gem. Idk how I hadn't heard about it sooner. But thank God for my co-worker for sharing this secret with me a couple of weeks ago. The food is amazing, the prices are reasonable and this place will become a new regular spot for us. So far we've tried a variety of the tacos. The Al Pastor & Steak are my favorite. I need to try the shrimp next. The carnitas we've had as tacos and a burrito. All of it is top notch. This first visit they were a little heavy handed with the cilantro so I asked them to go easy on the cilantro the last time. Seriously amazing Mexican. Really great spot!

I think the photos of my shrimp tacos and chicken tacos speak for themselves. Rotten avocado and none-to-barely any toppings. Didn't even try the shrimp because it smelled off. The cilantro on the chicken tacos were old and brown as well. Disgusting. It strikes me as very odd that an employee put these into the boxes thinking it was okay to sell to customers. Never ordering from here again, which really is a shame because we have ordered from here countless times.

Good food. We really like their chips and salsa and occasionally they make a flan. Quesadilla is what we usually order.

Low prices for high quality food. Tacos are packed with plenty of meat and other toppings, with plenty of sauce options as well.

I drove all the way to Pearl River, just to find out that this place hasn't been open in a few months. Mind you it says it's open on Google.

The combination of ube and matcha is unbelievably creamy, smooth, and rich without being overly sweet. The ube has that perfect nutty vanilla-like flavor with a deep, authentic taste, while the matcha is earthy, bold, and balanced beautifully. Swirling the two together makes every bite even better. What really stands out is the texture it was light, fluffy, and silky soft serve that melts perfectly. The flavors taste fresh and premium, not artificial at all. The presentation is also gorgeous, making it almost too pretty to eat. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staffs make the experience even better. Not really sure why it took that long, but it was definitely frustrating just standing there. We eventually ordered four cones (ube and matcha)...and giving credit where it's due, the ice cream itself is still very good. It's creamy, flavorful, and consistent with what we had on a previous visit. That said, the portions felt off this time. The cones didn't seem as full, and what really stood out was that each one had a noticeable hollow center -- almost like the middle was missing. Sign. For $9 a cone, that just shouldn't happen. Last time I was here, it felt like a 5-star spot. This visit? Not there at all. Still good ice cream, but between the wait and the portion issues, it didn't live up to the price.

The Mint Ting a Ling and Cotton Candy are great choices for hard ice cream. We were all pleased after this last visit. The kid serving us was friendly and his cone creations were satisfying. Prices now are probably more closely aligned with other ice cream parlors these days, but bring cash. The parking here can be tight, so I'd you want to try it, I suggest going at an off time... I got a vanilla soft serve in a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles and a cup of rainbow sprinkles on the side. The on the side sprinkles was like big condiment cup which impressed me. The ice cream was so delicious. The safe as well was so nice and cheery. The place was also packed. I will say the cone I got was almost $8 (likely due to the waffle cone) which is kind of steep for soft serve ice cream but everything is expensive these days so I'm not knocking them for it. Also this ice cream was everything and then some to me so I would happily go back and pay that price again. Will definitely be frequenting this place all summer because it truly made me the happiest.
