The drinks and food keep us coming back, and we also appreciate that we can usually get in and out within about an hour without ever feeling rushed. That said, the last two times we've gone our table service has been disappointing. We had two different servers, and both experiences felt pretty cold and unfriendly. The interactions were brief and came across as rude, which was surprising because we've had such positive experiences here in the past. It's honestly a bummer because we really do love this place and will absolutely keep coming back. I'm hoping these last couple visits were just off nights, because Rio Bravo is usually one of our favorite spots around here.

The Blackened Salmon Fajita platter came with a full skillet of bean, Spanish rice, 4 oz of Salmon, and a fair amount of sautéed onions and peppers. Additionally the meal came with an additional plate filled with salsa, cheese, fried pineapple, guacamole, sour cream, and pickled peppers. Collectively the food was flavorful, well prepared, delicious, and appealing to the eyes. The waitress was kind and very busy. It took roughly 45 minutes from the time we ordered food until it was served. Due to the waitress being so busy, they made minimal visits to the table. 8/10. They were filled with roasted squash and carrots aside from the usual peppers and onions so they were way more filling than the usual veggie quesadilla, and the veggies had great seasoning. Husband got the steak burrito and he loved it. The portion sizes were massive. We both took home enough for another meal. Plantains were good. We especially loved the complimentary sopapilla-esque bites of cinnamon sugar tortillas with whipped cream and cherry sauce which were provided at the end of our meal. There was one per person and it was a nice sweet light bite to end the meal.
