I love the tacos here. Salsa is yummy. Crispy shells with lettuce, cheese, and seasoned hamburger. Tacos are placed neatly in paper wrappers and held in place with a toothpick to keep them from spilling out. Orders are made fresh. Employees are happy and make you feel welcomed. Large amount of seating available inside but orders can be to go as well.

    Taco very very good

My first time coming here from Florida to visit and I actually really enjoyed the food here that i went 2 days in a row. I know it's not fancy and it looks old and outdated but the flavor of the meat in the tacos was very very good, as well as the sauce that accompanied it. I ordered to go and it was quiet inside, the lady behind the counter was very helpful since I was new to this place. I ordered the below in a 2 day span. * Sancho - Very good * Taco - Very good * Bean burrito - Very runny, but oddly enough, very good. * Taco buger - Very good I would definitely try it again when I am back in town.

Overly religious which I didn't notice until I sat down or I wouldn't have even went in but to top it off the food was mediocre at best. There was 7 of us and we all got something different and none of us want to go back. Not sure how this place has actually stayed open. Cheaper better Mexican at Taco Bell honestly but Panchos, Chipotle, Costa Vida blow this place out of the water.

I found it just okay. worthy of a taco. I got a bit over whelmed at their basic selections. Looked forever to find one enchilada which they didn't have on the menu. So I ordered a taco, which was huge and tostada. The sauce was a bit on the spicy side, the meat, well flavored and seasoned. I believe I have the same cheese in my refrigerator, and the sauce really didn't have much flavor. The tostada was basic, refried beans blahish. again, it was topped with meat, which was okay. Lettuce, cheese and a tomato. Their drinks weren't thrilling,I'm not seven sure they had iced tea, so I ordered water. Tacos were 1.79. Pretty good price. But I think I'd rather have El Fuentes, which isn't far from there.I just wasn't that thrilled with Taco Via.

My favorite taco and burrito place!

This is an amazing and peaceful place to eat that has amazing service! The space is always extremely clean and the orders are always accurate. These are my favorite tacos!!

One of my favorite fast food places in kc. The food is always good, they prude themselves in quality food quick. You pay a little extra but it is so worth it. I had lunch for $6. The staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable. They are always busy so you may wait in line but once you order the food will come out fast. I love the 10 commandments on the place mats. Good reminder. If you want quality fast food hive taco via a try. Be sure and order a nacho.

Totally generic quasi-Mexican fast food. If you're looking for Mexican food, you should go to a *real* Mexican restaurant. This place is perfect if you're looking for a nice, sedate, predictable, safe, wholesome, family-friendly environment. If you enjoy mauve vinyl booths and 80's aesthetics, this place is for you. It's also a great place for your Teens for Jebus group to meet after school, to plan their trip to bible camp. Taco Via is without a doubt, hands-down, no competition, the absolute best place to review the ten commandments while you wait for your food, with the soundtrack of contemporary christian radio in the background. Yep, it's right up there next to the menu board. Oddly, there are more commandments than items on the Taco Via menu. I know there's the joke about how Mexican food is like 5 ingredients in various combinations, but these folks take mexi-minimalism to a whole new level. You got your ground beef wrapped in a flour tortilla, your ground beef wrapped in a corn tortilla, your ground beef taco, your rice and beans, a couple other surprises, and that's it. Shredded yellow cheese all around! One of the most awesome things about this place is a couple of the wacky items available on their illuminated picture board. Without even realizing it, they've created a whole new cuisine, some kind of bizarre fusion that involves hamburger and hot dog buns and taco meat. And a flat tostada covered in canned salsa and canned cheese is a nacho! It's basically the kind of place white people go when they want to pretend they're eating Mexican food, but don't want to actually deal with any Mexican people. It's the kind of place that's closed on Sundays, know what I mean? I keep going back here because I keep forgetting how the food is just not very good, and they can probably smell the heathen in me. I keep thinking a place with such an awesome logo, all over the napkins, cups, bags, and t-shirts, should be so much better. Next time I go back, I'm getting a visor, then I quit!

Salsa is fantastic! Very clean facility, very nice people. Average food, but the sauce is the best! Not open on Sunday or Monday.

Awesome place. Been eating at TV for decades. Clean as a whistle. Friendly staff. Taco Bell does not even compare.

We are new to the area and were craving some Mexican food. We are so happy we stopped by La Fuente!…read moreOur waitress was super friendly and happy to recommend her favorite dish. They have really tasty frozen lime margaritas (and a wide selection of other flavors and choices). The restaurant is decorated very nicely - ornate wood work, wide open Spaces for larger parties, and plenty of TV's to watch the game. I ordered a dish with shrimp, chicken, steak, and bacon over a bed of rice with queso. It was amazing! Chips are thin and crispy. Salsa is a little on the spicy side (in a good way). Definitely recommend supporting this local establishment.

2/18/3026 We were a party of four. Beware of booth seating!…read more The table AND the booths are not secured to the floor. We were severed a large bowl of bland tortilla chips with icky salsa. We barely touched them. I ordered the Lunch Fried Tacos. LOADED with tender ground beef, delicious queso. ¡My husband ordered the Lunch Popeye Enchilada it was magnífico! Lots of flavors involved. Nice temperature and an eye appealing plating. I will never understand when the Spanish rice at EVERY Mexican restaurant is nothing more than white rice with zero flavor. The recipe in my Better Homes and Gardens cookbook has a much better version! Bacon, onions, green peppers and canned tomatoes. Next time, I'll ask to omit it from my plate. #btw - the two tacos were bastante. Fulfilling and satisfying. Our server was muy bello and delivered wonderful, attentive service.
