Al pastor taco, $2.50 each during HH

I'm sorry this taco wasn't it for me. I felt like the tortilla was a little thick for my liking and the meat was dry and didn't have much flavor. Would definitely not be back.

Fantastic spot in Downtown Santa Ana! Awesome alambres, seriously delicious! Fantastic portions with an awesome salsa bar, I love this place! Service was great, thank you for the great experience! There's free parking for 1 hour near by, or paid parking in the back. There's also an arcade and bar upstairs, this place is popping!

    Amazing salsa bar!

Our new favorite tacos! This place is definitely going to hit a Yelp top 20 spots list soon based on my experience! These are larger than street tacos and they Jam Pack with delicious tender flavorful meats. Great taco Tuesday deals as well but the price is good anytime of the week. Birria is so flavorful and moist and carne asada is grilled and juicy. Salsa bar is excellent. Everything in it was a big hit especially the green salsa, Pinneaple salsa, the grilled onions, and that super spicy salsa. The owner and staff are all amazing with customer service and makes you feel very welcome. I'm definitely adding this into my regular meal rotations!

    Disgusting and inattentive service.

Disgusting and inattentive service. Came here on a Thursday night , stood at the counter for almost 20 minutes and had to echo out a hello for any service. After ordering this employee began to use his phone, pick his nose and touch ALL the pizza ingredients. Made the food and went back to his phone / blowing his nose. As you can see he wasnt even phased by the videos i took of him being gross. This guy is going to get the place shut down.

Large portions and good bang for your buck. Tacompadre is located in downtown Santa Ana parking is structure which is free for one hour. Restaurant has table seatings and a arcade upstairs. I got the three taco plate with veggie chicken and asada. My fiance got the fajita style with asada and suadero. Service was a bit slow due to the large order they were making but were in no rush so wasn't a huge deal. They have many salsas and topping on the side. Asada was my favorite! Chicken was a bit dry, but the salsa helped. They also have pickled pineapples which is delicious. Overall solid taco place that will keep you full for a while.

Last stop on DJ Lexakhans taco crawl and didn't disappoint. Super legit authentic CDMX style tacos. Suadero tacos are super tender and flavorful, highly recommend this stop

The food is amazing. Pictures look accurate to what you receive. The service is great. They are patient with first timers to the establishment and the ambiance was just right. Being in a marketplace with two other eateries it really stands out. We got the queso tacos and the quesadilla both were excellent. Also do not forget to grab the cannolis! They also have halal options which is amazing and very inclusive for everyone to enjoy!

The food was a 10/10! We really enjoyed everything that we bought. Honestly great space as well it's a food hall with this being one of the 4 places to choose from. Upstairs is a totally fun vibe with an arcade and bar and nice patio seating outside. We sat on the second floor and enjoyed the dodger game. The service was great the manager was super nice. The parking lot is a bit small but there is a bigger parking lot a couple blocks away.

    Tacos de Asada & Pastor

I'm always on the hunt for new taco spots, and checking out TaCompadre was the best decision ever! I tried the al pastor and carne asada, and the flavors were absolutely spot on. A huge bonus is their toppings bar, which lets you customize your tacos exactly how you like them. Plus, they share a space with Mongiello's Pizza--so if you're with a group, friends can grab wings or fresh, scratch-made pizza while you smash some tacos. It's an absolute must-try if you're in Downtown Santa Ana! The service is great too, you get greeted as soon as you walk in. During the week if you go after 5pm they have an arcade upstairs with retro and modern games.

Do al pastor tacos come with "piña"?

Our al pastor adobo has pineapple juice in it, and we also have a pineapple habanero salsa on our salsa bar.

Yes we are, stop by to try carne asada, birria and chicken. We also have pizza with pepperoni halal, and all our wings are 100% zabiha halal

Their salads are delicious, and the quesadillas? Chef's kiss. I'm actually really picky about quesadillas because, for some reason, the cheese at a lot of places messes with my stomach. But whatever they're using here agrees with me perfectly. Honestly... not even a 1,000/10. If you haven't tried this spot yet, you're missing out.

There's plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. Food came relatively quickly as well for all of us, and drinks came out right away. Wait was maybe 5-10 minutes but all the food was freshly made! FOOD: They don't have too big of a menu, but that's not bad. I tried the carne asada, el pastor, and the mushroom tacos + queso tacos. The tacos were a lot bigger than larger tacos, coming at roughly $4 per taco. I would recommend the queso tacos because i LOVE cheese but the regular tacos are good. The quesadillas were very filling and there was a lot to them as well if you want something that'll fill you up more than a taco. SERVICE: Service was good. Everyone who helped us was very nice. PARKING: There is street parking and parking lots around the area for you to walk in--all of which are paid parking. You can use an app for the lots or use coins for the street parking. I've gone here during the day and night and I haven't had any issues with parking at all. INTERIOR: The interior is very simple: warm tones with benches. If you have a big party, you most likely will have to split up between multiple tables. For us, a party of 10, we divided it between 4 and 6, though the 6 was a tight fit. BATHROOM: Clean. Nothing crazy when I went there. I'm pretty sure you can use the bathroom too even if you don't buy anything. LOCATION: This place is in downtown Santa Ana, so there are a lot of shops for you to look around, eat at, or shop at if you go during the day. Very fun to eat tacos here and then go on a walk afterwards :)) TLDR: A very good taco spot to go eat if you want good tacos. They're open till 10pm weekdays and midnight on weekends as well. Decent variety that's fresh and very flavorful

I'm pretty sure they are pre bagged bacon bits, judging by the extreme salty taste...they overpowered the sausage inside so all I was really getting was bacon bits. A couple things about the condiments--green sauce is spicier than you think, red one is more of a salsa and not that hot.
