To begin with, Santa Ana has so many taco spots and I for one am so happy to have so many taco spots to choose from. This taco truck is definitely up there for me! The Al pastor was so die for. Absolutely delicious. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of my tacos before they were devoured. I ordered Al pastor, asada, and cecina. I don't see a lot of places offer cecina so it was a pleasant surprise to see it on the menu. All of it was so good! I would have to say that if you do get some tacos from here that you HAVE to order an agua de melon. That made the experience so much better! 10/10!!! The only downside from this location is the parking situation. But that shouldn't deter you from trying this spot!

Summary: Go go if you're into tacos!!! Always hunting for the elusive taco me and a close friend decided to try this place because of the long line. Located just off the 5 fwy and grand. In the same shopping complex as a smoke shop this place was amazing. Let's start of that the carna asada was grilled over real coal. This round I tried al pastor and carna asada tacos. Both had Amazing taste with each bite. Also with that grilled charcoal flavor just brought it over the top. Pair it with horchata just to be in bliss. Did I mention that you can see two ladies in the back making fresh tortilla by hand and with Mexican music playing in background just made it a great place to hand out. Bring your cash and hopefully you can find this elusive place. Just be aware there are two taco joints in the same shopping plaza. Look for the one further away from the freeway.

Stop be here to pick up some tacos for dinner. I ended up ordering 1 pastor Quesa Taco $3.5, 1 Asada Vampiro $4.5, 1 Pastor Quesadilla $12, total twenty dollars even. They were pretty good with generous portion of meat in there. When I paid I was a little bit shocked that a Quesadilla would cost $12. It was delicious and good portion. I felt it was expensive was my problem.

Taco Gutierrez you have my whole heart!…read more After having moved to Santa Ana last year this has become my go-to spot for tacos close by. It's hard to find a good Taco Tuesday but they do a great job helping the community and keeping the prices $1.50 for basic meats like pollo, asada, and al pastor. I personally love my lengua and this truck has some of the best I've tried! It is a bit pricier but definitely worth it given the taste/quality. A couple things about the condiments--green sauce is spicier than you think, red one is more of a salsa and not that hot. Radishes are unfortunately not very crunchy/juicy at this location so I don't get it as often as I would at other taco spots. If you're ever in a rush, they do phone orders AND DoorDash. I've done all the methods and quality stays up there each time! However, if you do wanna enjoy your tacos right after they're prepared, you can always sit at their tables next to the truck. They have quite a bit of dining space and I've never seen it too crowded to the point of having difficulty finding a spot to sit. In terms of finding the truck, you just need to turn into S Hathaway St. Very close to the train tracks. I park in any free space they have there, since the businesses are usually closed after 5pm (which is when the truck opens).

Make sure you go to the right location. There's plenty of street parking. It is a truck, so no seats or tables, but that's not an issue, just eat in your car LOL. Now the food....one of the best birria I've had. I ordered 2 crunchy tacos with cheese. They were sooooo good. Perfect amount of cheese, meat and the tortilla was crispy just how I like it. The consome, wow! It was very flavorful, tasted like actual consome. Other places it'll either taste like too many condiments/spices or watered down. This one though was 100% consome. I don't dip my tacos, I sip on my consome, so I did add a little lime, but still was able to taste how good the actual broth was. I didn't try the green salsa, but my bf liked it, he said it wasn't spicy. The red one, I did try, and it was perfect for me. It has a little kick at first, but then it's not too bad. Really good salsa though. Highly recommend the red for the tacos. They also have Mexican sodas, Coke, Sprite, Jarritos, and I forgot what else. The service is great. Didn't get his name, but he was really nice and friendly. We just went yesterday, but planning on going back today.

Omg so upset we took so long to try. I went after work and messaged thru instagram to find out where he was located. In the bend behind where you usually see him. So got the tacos for my boyfriend and I got the quesadilla. Absolutely delicious. Moist and flavorful couldn't get enough. All the sides and fixins! Such a pleasant owner too. I cannot recommend more and can't wait to take my friend on lunch soon. Thank you for a wonderful dinner that night! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

I had been wanting to try Kabobaholic for a while, and finally got my shot at Angel Stadium during the Savannah Bananas game. I went with the falafel bowl, my gal ordered the chicken bowl, and of course we had to get the feta fries (more on those in a second). The falafel was the standout for me. Too often, falafel just tastes like... fried. You don't really get the depth--the cumin, coriander, garlic, all the things that are supposed to make it pop. This was the opposite. Super flavorful, well-seasoned, and actually distinct. Add in the sauces and fresh salad, and it made for a perfect ballpark dinner. And then the fries... next level. Let's be honest, fries are usually just filler. Not here. These were packed with flavor, and the feta gave it that extra bite that made you keep going back for more. Really, really good. Didn't grab a pic of the bowl (was too busy eating), but snapped one of the truck. If you see Kabobaholic, do yourself a favor and stop.

I initially was super pumped to try out this food truck. One, I love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. Two, they have good reviews on Yelp. Three, how can you say no to a name like Kabobaholic. Unfortunately, Kabobaholic underwhelmed a bit. Ambiance (N/A): Since it's a food truck, ambiance is not part of the experience. Service (4/5): Serving a lot of hungry people at a music festival isn't easy. People don't want to wait long, yet they also want their food to be tasty. They had a little table set out in front of the food truck where I placed your order. You were then given a slip with your number that they would call out when your food was ready. I waited a reasonable amount of time for my order. Drinks (N/A): I didn't order any beverages. Food (3/5): I'm a sucker for loaded fries. So when I saw their gyro fries (which are halal by the way) on the menu, it was a no brainer. Fries, gyro meat, pickles, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce. Sounds like a winner to me. And it was a winner in the sense that it was a generous portion. Which is part of what I was looking for. I wanted a filling dinner to last me for a long night out. Mission accomplished there. The gyro meat was sliced thin and flavorful, the veggies were fresh, and you can't ever go wrong with tzatziki sauce. The problem? The thick-cut fries were undercooked. Given that they were the main part of the meal, it took away from the entire experience significantly. It's hard to deliver at a busy festival. At a small event, or where they regularly post up, perhaps the execution is better.

I do wish we got a little variety and picked a different dish instead of getting 2 pork dishes but both the cochnita pibil and castacan were highly recommended by a friend. We call them and give them a heads up and wondered if there was still availability. Melody was pretty transparent and said that there is a different menu between two and five ---a more limited menu. She asked if there was anyway we could get there before 2 o'clock. Long story short, she was super gracious and told the cooks that we would get there a little after two and they would make us something from the lunch menu. Isa was our waitress, and she was phenomenal! Great sense of humor, very transparent about the different menu items. I got a copal and it was fantastic! Smoky and spicy, but not too spicy. We started our late lunch with Caesar salad, Sopa Limon, Seabreem fish dish. We also got the cubano. We were so stuffed by the end of it, but everything was phenomenal. The Caesar salad was a great way to start the meal, but after a couple of bites of it once we had the other dishes, it didn't stand out as much. We probably would've ordered the same thing all over again, with the exception of the Caesar salad (although it was still good!) Sopa Limon had a very unique bone broth flavor. It was a little sweet. So amazing. Seabreem dish - the vegetables played an important part in the flavors! The fries and the aïoli for the Cubano was amazing. The Cubano was excellent, but was a big serving. We sat outdoors, but if I had to have my choice, I would prefer indoors because the ambience indoors is similar to a resort. It reminds us of a place up in the Bay Area called Luna in Campbell. Except the food here is slightly better :). Will definitely return!
