Do not listen to those old reviews. Most of them are 6 years old and maybe it was owned by absolute monsters. But now? Delightful staff and very clean. Generally I'm in there buying scratch tickets and vapes for my wife. Man do we sound like trash. Which we're not. I mean vapes are gross. I get that. She's tried to quit. It's not easy. It's an addiction. And I'm buying scratch tickets because I'm thinking if I'm going to 7-11 to get vapes, which I hate, what's in it for me? So I buy a scratch ticket. That's always fun. And the guys will always wish you good luck when you buy it. And not in a perfunctory way. Like they really mean it. Now I don't win. Nobody wins. Scratch tickets are for suckers. That isn't their fault. One time I won $3. That was a good day. Oh and they have a wide variety of snacks. And beverages. If you've never been in one. I'm sure some people have not. Next time I go I will take more pictures. They also have hot food. I don't see myself eating hot food from 7-11. Even if I'm buying scratch tickets and vapes. Oh, and fireworks! Lots of fireworks which is probably seasonal. Sometimes when I go in to buy vapes the guy will pretend I look too young to buy them. I am in my fifties! I don't look too young! Oh how we laugh. 7-Eleven - Taquitos - Convenience Stores Near Me - Summit, New Jersey

The lady who works the morning shift her attitude is despicable. I watched her give attitude to 3 men in line before me , then when it was my turn she took it upon herself to give me whatever she wanted . I came in with 3 scratch off tickets . 1 won a free ticket , 1 $1 and the last one $20 . I bought a water and Reese's and asked for 2 of the same tickets . She gave me 2 tickets and my change and that was it . I then asked what happened to the free ticket and she told me that's what's in my hand . I explained to her that i wanted 3 tickets . The free one , and 2 i was purchasing . With an attitude she said to me give me a $1 I'll give you another ticket . That is not how this works . She basically took my free ticket . It was way too early to be that grumpy. This isn't the first experience of that from her either. read more

@7eleven This store is horrible and should be reported not only to the board of health but to the police! I stopped in during a bike ride, on the cusp of dehydration in 102º weather and was refused service since I was sweaty and breathing heavily! I begged at the register for them to "take my money" but was ridiculed and humiliated in front of other customers. For some reason they were angry with me since I was trying to be healthy and get some exercise. I have never been refused service before! They threatened to call the police on me! I was delirious from the heat, seeking refuge, with money in hand begging to purchase a drink I'd placed on the counter and was aggressively denied service and told repeatedly my "money was no good". I was very parched after CrossFit, decided to stop in and hydrate and have some post workout proteins I ordered the potato wedges, one (1) hot dog, one (1) Wild Berry slurpee. I thought the staff was helpful as they assisted me in locating the closest GNC which is actually at the Cherry Hill mall. I honestly thought there would be a GNC in Summit but the manager pulled up the cherry hill location on his smart phone as the closest location. I just had run out of my optimum nutrition brand mass builder whey protein and for some reason many health food places do not stock it. The worst 711 in my life it smelled so nasty and the workers don't understand what customer service means. The pricing of chargers was all wrong and wouldn't give me the price on the shelves then some associate came n pointed to something completely different and wouldn't give me the right price and I walked out without purchasing anything because they started speaking another language to each other about the pricing and it was very unprofessional. This store has problems with dealing with human beings.I went to use a card.The cashier never seen me use a card,so he made a lie saying the card wasnot working.T he card had December twenty-twenty-three expiration date.I promised him it did.Do you know how painful that was? He refused to access it.I called the poliice,and the officersaid the cashier had the abilityto serve who he wanted,and I respectfully disagreed. So to retaliate for me callingthe police, last night that cashier that works at the three-seventeen Morris avenue Seven-Eleven in Summit called the police,and once again lie on me.He can not be allowed to false swear on a human being that is humblely eating White castle burgers.HE lied and told them I threated him.The truth is he came from behind the counter opened the store's ,and stirred up something with me.They refused to look at the camera.IT was not the cashier Eric.IT was the little one that works on Sunday nights.The behavior was egregious.I was shock and awed. read more

The customer service is shabby and for it to be an Aston Martin directly across the street you'd think it'll be upscale a little. I stop here almost every morning for coffee. They have a large selection of coffee flavors, & milks/creamers. I really enjoy the 7-11 app perks, free 7th coffee, points towards purchases, (more free coffee) etc. I never usually get anything else, but I do observe the place. I will say, while the staff seemed to care less about me when I first started coming here, they now recognize me, make small talk, say good morning. I would say they all looked overworked (this is a very busy 7-11). The coffee bar is rarely clean & neat, there is usually dried spilled coffee on the counters, things not wiped off, sometimes low on lids, some times empty coffee urns. I do see that they try to stay on top of it, but the people who come in really trash the place. Mostly truck drivers & people trying to catch the train. Really sad that people don't clean up after themselves. In a review I saw someone said "the African man" is rude, or something to that extent. He is not. He's pretty quiet, & hums to himself every time I am there. He says good morning & tells me to have a good day, every day. I like this 7-11, it hasn't scared me off. I don't think it's atrocious, but I think they could benefit from having at least one more person working here. There's 3 people running the whole place, early morning to late afternoon (haven't been here past 2pm) from what I can tell. Again, they look really overworked. So if you stop by, be nice, & realize they're here all day, probably make not so good pay & are seriously overworked. read more

This seven eleven has the poorest customer service . The staff are rude and abrupt. They look like they don't like their jobs but that's NOT the customers problem right? So I suggest that whoever owns this store trains his/her staff to become more people friendly. I've been here twice and have noticed that immediately then while walking I over heard some kids from the Middle School complain about the store/staff. Hence this review. read more
