I had a generally decent time and might go back. But my burger was super pink even though i ordered medium. The service was quick but we had some issues.. the waitress put the bill down without telling us that we have to pay at the counter. I asked another server if we were supposed to pay up front and his response with kinda patronizing. The food was good and I also liked the environment/ambience of the place. But also the light above our table was flickering lol

Nice ambience and friendly service for our large group from work. The Mediterranean bowl with chicken was a healthy, delicious treat.

4 Review of Winberie's I go into every restaurant with one standard move--order a Caesar salad with grilled chicken--and Winberie's genuinely surprised me. This one hit different. I finished the entire plate without even thinking twice, which says everything. The chicken had a slight burn on it, but instead of ruining it, it actually added a bold, smoky flavor that made the whole dish taste even better. The atmosphere was perfect the lighting was super nice and could have ate outside! Even though the place was busy, the timing was solid--I got my food at a reasonable pace, which is rare when a spot is packed. The balance of fresh greens, protein-packed chicken, and overall flavor was on point. It felt like the perfect mix of healthy and satisfying, not something you always get with a Caesar. Bottom line: simple dish, executed strong. Winberie's delivers where it matters. Definitely recommend.

I attended this location for a high school reunion for a friend. It was a nice place the ambience was good definitely wanna visit again during the earlier hours. I ordered a drink and tried to order some finger foods But the bartender was a bit rude and disrespectful. For that I didn't enjoy the visit however I am willing to visit again to have a better experience.

Solid spot in downtown summit, I liked the fish and chips and my husband liked the burger. If it's nice, sit on the patio

Winberie's happy hour is just unmatched. Excellent drink and food specials! The drink menu for happy hour is pretty extensive and they will hook you up. We had the wings, mushroom flatbread, sliders, and spinach artichoke dip-- all delicious! The wings we did half Buffalo and have Asian glaze. The interior is also very pretty, it used to be an theater. Bartender and waitress were awesome.

My boyfriend and his family stopped in here for dinner last week. I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and my boyfriend got the short rib pappardelle. He said it was good but he's had better and would try something different next time. His father liked it. His brother ordered a burger and liked it. The Caesar salad was okay. I've had better. The chicken was good. Would try something else next time. The service was excellent. The ambiance was nice too. It was quiet inside and dimly lit. Nice for dinner! And prices aren't bad.

Popped in after weeknight meeting to get a bite and a drink with my fellow club members. The food was very good and well-seasoned cooked to perfection. The drinks were on the money. We had the roasted cauliflower and hummus and Burrata flatbread.

We came here tonight with a reservation for a booth. We were seated at 1/2 a booth and I just assumed that that was what was being offered. My date noticed that there were full booths behind us and 2 were empty. We questioned the server who then asked a hostess who informed her that their were left for parties if 4 or more. We thought, okay fine until the table next to us which was a party of 4 and they asked for the empty booths as well. They were then told they were for ladies of 6 or more. Hmmmm. As we are all sitting there enjoying our dinners we notice a party of 2 now sitting at one of the booths we asked about. The woman next to us was fuming inside. I could see the steam coming off her forehead. She questioned the manager who then apologized and told them he would move them when he could and told us he would take care of us. So, to our meals, lol. My boyfriend ordered the French onion soup which was very cheesy and tasty. He also ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the shrimp pasta Genovese. They were both very good. Our server was very attentive and apologetic about the whole seating fiasco. I was a little upset that they took the pork nachos off their menu. It was my favorite thing on their menu. Oh well. The manager ended up taking off 30% of our bill which was pretty nice. Kudos to him.

    Bloody Mary

We came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was decently busy, but there is a lot of seating inside and had no issues getting a table. I got a Bloody Mary that was extremely disappointing. It came in a small glass that was mostly filled with ice. I order bloody marys often and have to say I have never gotten one in such a small glass. The flavor was pretty bland. I was asked if I wanted it spicy and said yes, but all I could really taste is a bunch of Tabasco sauce that was poured in. It came with no garnishes other than a lime. No celery, olive, etc. I'd say at almost all places a Bloody Mary will cost $9-$12. I was taken aback when the bill came and was charged $13 for a half glass that was not good. For my meal I got the grain bowl. Again, extremely disappointed. It tasted really good, but the portion size was tiny and for $17 for a salad with no protein that leaves you hungry afterwards is quite crazy. It came with 2 Brussels sprouts cut in half, 2 cauliflower florets, and a single grape sliced. My wife got the southwest veggie burger and she enjoyed it. I had a few bites and it was quite good. Although, it was quite spicy, so if you aren't into spicy foods, I probably wouldn't order it. Our service was great. The waitress was pleasant and attentive and our food came out quickly. Some of the other dishes that we saw carried past us looked pretty good. I would come back and give them one more chance and try something else on the menu.

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. The sweet potato fries and a refreshing mocktail to drink made for a perfect meal. Sweetie ate a pasta bolognese (I think) which looked and ate good, and drowned it with a nice glass of red wine. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

The seared octopus, though, a great dish with highlights on the beans offsetting the rich flavor of the octopus and sausage crumbs. My old phone was taking blurry pics from far away so I wasn't able to capture it, but think very cozy, fireplace with candles glowing from within, and little alcoves in the wall for candle clusters. I knew we had to get that because it is right up my husbands alley. It did not disappoint, my husband was tempted to order some to take home! The pasta was super creamy and cheesy, mixed with the roasted pulled smoky bbq pork on top, it was the ultimate comfort food for the cold rainy day we were having. For my meal I got the Grilled Cheese which is more of an elevated "grown up" grilled cheese. It had cheese, thin apple slices, fig jam and bacon. The flavors were great, I only wish there was a little more cheese or a little less jam to balance the sweet and savory a little more, because for me it was a touch too sweet. The sourdough it was made with was delicious and fresh, I also appreciate that they don't seem to soak their grilled cheese in oil like a lot of places do (butter or nothing, please!!) My husband ordered the burger which he really enjoyed but nothing was going to top the pulled pork Mac and cheese for him. They should consider adding it to the regular menu! He originally wanted the duck sandwich but it was unavailable on this day. All in all it was a cozy afternoon together.
