    Fish tacos, Al Pastor Nachos
    Shayla T.

Lots of variety on their menu. My mom and I were craving fish tacos and nachos! Fish tacos: It was a bit pricey for 2 tacos but they do load up the toppings. Very flavorful fried fish that was very juicy. Yummy chipotle sauce drizzle over the pico and lettuce. Nachos: We got the al pastor nachos which came with a sizeable amount of meat and pickled toppings. We definitely had leftovers for the next day (which were still yummy!) The only thing is that the sauce bar was running low on some things, especially the cilantro avocado salsa. There was a customer picking up the entire sauce tray and trying to scoop at the edges. Otherwise, pretty well-kempt restaurant with ample seating to have a meal while conversing with friends. Doesn't get too loud. Parking is easy (located inside a plaza). Staff is nice and welcoming.

Burrito - 3.5/5 Cheese was not melted and that's always a minus for me Meat was a bit dry Suadero quesadilla - 4/5 Brisket was really flavorful and pretty big size ! I'll be coming back to try a few different items I had an eye on Fast service and pretty busy on a Sunday night

2.5 stars. I am currently not eating burgers so we decided to order from Tacos Ameca. We would've normally just gone to super taq but we didn't want a burrito and wanted to try something new. First off, we looked on Yelp to see the menu and the food photos. We called and the person who answered didn't give us a price total, just a 20 min wait pickup time. We arrived within 18 minutes. Right away I noticed the restaurant had a total of 4 people inside. Customer service gets zero stars. The person wasn't friendly over the phone and was serious in person. He didn't greet us with a smile or a welcome. He only spoke to say the total- $70. I was in disbelief because online it says otherwise and how is this worth $70. We pay and grab our salsas. Presentation is pretty- the quesadilla had grilled onions and avocado, for which apparently I paid extra. The meat is fresh and yummy, not chewy. We didn't finish the other quesadilla because it was a lot of food and it was a lot of meat. I wasn't expecting the portions to be this big and an immense amount of meat. I will say I'm not a huge meat eater so I would've liked less meat. I could barely taste the cheese in the quesadilla. It was more like a taco with a sprinkle of cheese. If you love your meat, this is for you. Would I come back again? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Not for $70 and especially not for the customer service. Maybe if you want to eat tons of meat and like big portions, then you'll enjoy Tacos Ameca. Also, I took a picture of the menu because the menu photos on Yelp are inaccurate.

Great menu and a friendly staff. Everything is made from scratch and super sized! Make sure to bring a good appetite. The drinks are amazing! Very well worth the price. You will not be disappointed.

Pork Chile Verde plate & freshly pressed tortillas

This place never disappoints. I have gone to all the Tacos Ameca locations in the area and they are all equally amazing. You get freshly pressed tortillas when you order a combo plate. This place always hits the spot.

I asked for four tacos de lengua. I didn't know it would be this big. Also, they were going to charge for cilantro, onion, etc. The soda is $5.86 ! The most driest tacos too. Meat has no juice whatsoever. Four tacos and a soda is $32 dollars. Yeah, you can find better prices and better quality somewhere else.

Price too expensive and anything you add to any taco on the meat whether it's onion or cilantro all that cost you extra.! That's insane.

Every meal we've had has been cooked perfectly, and the portions are generous. One of the best things is the value. Most entrees are around $15-$20, which is an amazing price for the quality and amount of food you get. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

This review is specifically for Carla H. as a waitress on 6/19/2026 from 6-7:30pm…read more We live in the area and this is our go to restaurant for Mexican food if we want to sit down especially after a long day of work. The food is great and we enjoy the ambiance and environment. We have had Carla 3 times in the times that we have been there. Moving forward, when we do go there, we will request another waiter/waitress in the event she is assigned to us. The first time, we got there before happy hour ended, like 15 minutes before. By the time she came to our table it was just minutes before happy hour ended. I shared that we sat down prior and it took some time before she came to take our order. On any other occasion, the other waitors/waitresses were able to accommodate us with no problem. We are not trying to work the system, but we're talking minutes. The second time, it was a time delay in service: checking in with us on drinks, napkins, and check. When my husband suggested this place to eat for dinner, I was hoping we didn't have Carla as our waitress. Today, we did and I was hoping that her services would be a lot better than the past two times. We gave our order: Kids cheese quesadilla with just rice with lemonade Kids chicken quesadilla with just refried beans with lemonade Baja fish with refried beans and rice Chicken echilada with refried beans and rice My husband and I just had water and we asked for lemonade. The entire time we were there, we were not once checked on. We saw all other waitresses/waitors checking on their tables multiple times. We had to flag down staff bussing tables to ask for more chips and get more drinks. Mind you it's me, my husband, and my two kids 3 and 7. It's unfortunate because my kids drank their drinks fast and did not have their own set of napkins to begin with. She also did not get our order right. There were no lemons in our water and our son who ordered the chicken quesadilla only had a cheese quesadilla. Our son didn't have a problem with it, but had Carla checked on us, we would've brought it to her attention. We noticed she spent a long time chatting with an elderly couple when we were ready to go and waiting for our check. At this point, I took my boys out with me in the car since they were fidgety and ready to get dessert elsewhere. I passed by her as she spoke to the elderly couple and tried to make eye contact, and she ignored me. My husband was left at the table to pay the bill. I shared with him to make sure to bring up the cheese quesadilla. Of course, when she brought the bill, she charged for the chicken quesadilla. She tried to explain to my husband the order, but she didn't have it right when she tried to explain which son had what. She goes back and changes the bill and my husband has to wait again for her to return to pay for the bill. My husband very kindly shared that the service was horrible and we were not tended to with drinks and napkins. We had to resort to getting service from staff bussing tables. She shared with my husband, "You didn't go up to the front desk," and "the other staff are supposed to check on you." My husband shared that we watched all the other waiters and waitresses tending to their customers and we were note. Carla continued to ask, "Is this your first time here?" My husband responded, "We've come here a few times." Carla responds, "Yes, I've seen you and your family here." Carla definitely lacks in customer services and basic reciprocal conversation skills. Business Manager Ana ~ I hope you take this review seriously, because I've been on yelp a very long time and very few times I have written negative reviews. This time, I couldn't hold my breath and not say something about Carla. She needs to have a refresher on what her roles and responsibilities are as a Waitress. I will still continue to visit La Hacienda, but the next time I am there with my family and Carla is our waitress, I will request not to be seated at the tables she is assigned to. Never have I ever felt so disrespected with the lack of service by a particular waitress. I would be happy to continue this conversation Business Manager Ana to discuss further about my horrible experience.

Ordered the carne asada and veggie burrito. Appreciated that the veggie burrito had ingredients usually in super burritos (lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, etc) without that added price compared to meat burritos, and came with a jalapeño on the side. The carne asada was extremely flavorful - nicely grilled and smokey flavor while being tender. One of my favorite carne asadas in NorCal. I usually pass this place by however I thought I would stop in and try their tacos. I frequent the one in San Jose on Alum Rock Avenue which is always very which is always very busy. I figured maybe it's their sister location as they look very similar and the signage is pretty much the same. Walked up to the window and ordered three tacos of carne asada. They come with a side of sautéed onions and jalapeño. The tacos are a good size and they have a good portion of Carne Asada meat on it. The meat is well seasoned and the sautéed onions and jalapeño added to the flavor. I can see myself stopping in again and trying some of the other food they have on the menu. They also offer burritos, tortas, and a variety of seafood items. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating area looks very clean and maintained.
