The place is a decent size so there are plenty of seats. It's certainly a hole-in-the-wall, no frills type of place. You're not coming here for the ambiance. We really wanted tacos, so that's all we ordered. We were disappointed to find that you couldn't really mix and match the meats. 1 order comes with 3 tacos so if you aren't coming with a big group or if you're not trying to have 30+ tacos you will be limited in what you can try. I wish I could've tried all of their tacos but I wasn't interested in taking a ton to go. We settled on the Tripa, Lengua, Cachete Res, and al Pastor. The tacos came out pretty quickly and they were pretty good. The meats were flavorful and the tortillas were solid. They weren't the best tacos I've ever had, but they were good. Aside from not being able to order just 1 taco, my other gripe is the price. 1 order of tacos is $15 and $5/taco is a little steep in my opinion. Sure these tacos are bigger than your average taco, but as someone who likes to order a variety I have to dock points. I wouldn't mind coming back to Pancho's, but it wouldn't be my first choice for food in AC.

However, with…read morethat being said my retired parental units from down south had made a trip based on an amazing promotion that they found and would be staying in the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. Though I don't usually join them on these jaunts the need for some family time was present and I was able to get a ticket for the bus that leaves from my area fairly quick and easy. I'm in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and the ride is about two hours give or take depending on traffic. Once I arrived and having caught up for a few minutes we decided to get some lunch. My early start found me only having one of those Carnation Breakfast drinks on the bus. There were a few interesting options to enjoy but Mom suggested Casa Taco and I'm not one to argue since I love Mexican food myself. The downside was that they were not yet serving lunch so breakfast it was. We all kept it simple and ordered the "Two Eggs with Meat" listing on the menu. I had scrambled eggs with sausages and my folks the same but with a differently prepared egg. A steaming cup of coffee and orange juice complimented the order. The restaurant was clean and very open in terms of layout and while I didn't catch our servers name she was very friendly and brought our orders out as quick as it was possible. At the end there wasn't a scrap on my plate but like I said I was hungry. So if you find yourself in the Tropicana down in Atlantic City, NJ this is a good recommendation from me. I cannot say when or if I will be back here because I like to try different places whenever I visit somewhere but only time will tell.

The price is amazing, quality is outstanding, extremely authentic and service was great. A very small restaurant with maybe 3-4 tables but everything is very tight and a bit hot. No AC but one fan. My bf and I stopped by and we were the only ones dining inside, but the door constantly opened with customers picking up food. Our waitress was the friendliest and cutest person ever. Very happy and loved her job. This restaurant does not come with complimentary chips and salsa and the food (besides entrees) do not come with sides. However, the taste and quality is out of this world and so worth it! We ordered shrimp tacos, which came with 3pieces and extremely fresh. We also shared an order of the original tlayuda and chose mixed meat since the waitress recommended it. Very heavy and filling. Can't wait to come back and try other items off the menu!

It had good reviews and Google suggested I might like it based on places I've been to here in Baltimore. So, you know I had to cross reference on Yelp, my most trusted source of recommendations. Yelp said, yes ma'am and I said say less. After some rooftop drinks at Vue bar, I stopped in for takeout. I only browsed the menu briefly, but I knew when I saw huaraches and tlayuda it was going be a hit! There's nothing like authentic Mexican. While I wanted to try a little bit of everything, I'm only one girl and I was traveling solo, so I ordered steak nachos, an al pastor torta, and a single lengua taco. The way I inhaled those nachos, the roof of my mouth be damned! They were so simple, just black refried beans, meat, queso fresco and some pickled veg, yet so delicious. The lengua taco had more of a shredded consistency than the tender chunks I'm used to, but the flavor was yummy and the torta was still great 3 days later. 10/10 would recommend!

The last few years, we've had mostly positive experiences but this year was different. The food is more expensive than it was in the past, which would be understandable, but the quality has also decreased. We ordered three empanadas (and were charged for all three) but only received one. Two of us were missing food because of that error, and somehow we ended up with a random burrito in our bag that we didn't order. My burrito was completely unraveled and fell apart the second I opened it. Nothing was labeled (and it was when we've ordered before), which meant we literally had to cut open the burritos and figure out which was which. On the online ordering site, you cannot order certain things, such as quesadillas, that are available in the store. When we went to pick up the food, we had to order the quesadillas there as we picked up the other food. The workers asked if how we were paying, but they were holding the larger bag of food (paid for online already). When we said we had paid online, they told us they meant the quesadillas, but their tone was rude and condescending, which we didn't appreciate. (One of the workers was very friendly, but there were three working.) Overall, we don't plan on returning, despite this being the fourth year of takeout on this trip. It just wasn't a good experince this time, especially in terms of quality and service. It seems like the restaurant is best set up for a single person ordering something, and we didn't have a lot of luck with correctness in our order, quality, or friendly service.
