Our order was similar 2 al pastor tacos and 1 asada sope. We definitely did not like the asada sope, not sure if it was the beans or if it was the meats flavor, definitely greasy not great taste. This place is a no !! We Cater for my daughter Gender reveal party which we got the Enhanced menu package. Which comes 3 meats of ur choice it includes 17 items . $14 per person and they charge for travel and already cook. Well we didn't get the full order they had the excuse we cant give you quesadillas because we need to cook right there . Well then why didn't you say that in the beginning and u charge me for it . On top of the other items they didn't give us . We were missing quesadillas, grilled onions, grilled jalapeños , Chesse , flour tortillas. All that is included in the package. Which he said Chesse don't include because of the quesadillas. But you have as an item so it's an item really then why you added as an item then quesadillas is one and Chesse another item. Wet Burrito Combo (asada, green salsa, +avocado, +cheese, +sour cream). Came with a side of chips and was a hefty size. Couldn't finish the whole thing. Pretty tasty. Had all the extras I asked/paid for (something I've often seen missed at other spots so worth noting this place got right). Needed a touch more salt / seasoning but was pretty good. 4 Street Tacos (birria, +avocado). Typical smaller size street tacos. Good portion of meat and onions. Heavy slice of avocado for the add on. Definitely didn't scrimp. Came with 2 options of side salsa plus a bag of veg toppings. These were very neatly packed (again worth pointing out when I've found this not the case other places). Guac....not feeling it. Tastes....grassy. Texture isn't thick avocado. Kind of watery. Feels like maybe tomatillos were blended in. Had 3 tacos, one chorizo, one pastor and one carnitas. The chorizo was alright really greasy but hey it's chorizo after all, carnitas we're terrible and the pastor meat tasted like it had spoiled. Best Mexican food in RIVERSIDE hands down!! I've lived in CA most of my life with the exception of traveling the country while in the military. I have had every version of Mexican food imaginable, including all the amazing hole in the wall places in Santa Ana AND in Northern and western Mexico. So--with maybe one exception in Baja California.. this is the BEST Mexican food I HAVE EVER HAD. The freshest, the most authentic and delicious Mexican restaurant in southern CA by far. I typically order through Postmates, so have only been into the actual building twice, but with that said, it's become our go to eat in delivery food we do for family night. No one ever disagrees and frankly we all look forward to it for days ahead of time! One really nice thing is they have some good breakfast items all day everyday, so especially on weekends it's a GREAT option for BRUNCH!! The Rancheros Breakfast AND the Chilaquiles breakfast plates CANNOT BE BEAT! But that's the case with all the food. Better than any 4 or 5 star place I've ever eaten. Anyone who wants delicious, fresh and authentic Mexican food whether you are traveling OR live here, THIS IS THE PLACE. Tons of options and tons of options in every category. I visit a Tacos Arandas for lunch every now and then. My most recent visit was this past Thursday. It a hole in the wall type place with good food and good customer service. They aren't busy when I visit (normally lunchtime on a weekday). On Thursday, I called and placed an order for pickup. It was ready when I got there. The food tastes great - I like the Cabeza burrito. However, it can be bland at times. I love spicy salsa and once that's added, it tastes great. The Carne Asada fries are yummy as well as the tacos. Over 4 years ago, my mother-in-law recommended Tacos Arandas to me, as a Mexican Food place with one of the most authentic carna asada tacos not just in the City, or in the County, but generally North of the Border. That was a big recommendation so I had to give it a try. Not only are the carna asada tacos the best I have ever tasted, what made them better was the green salsa that I cannot get enough of. I used to strongly dislike salsa, but this salsa has a spice and flavor combination that sings to your taste buds, and its opened my eyes to the wonderful world of salsa. I've gone back to Tacos Arandas over 100 times (yes, I know that's at least 1 time a week!) have purchased four 5ft burritos, and have had them cater a few of my events (baby shower, bachelor party, etc). I ate in I had the chicken taquito plate, paid a little over $8.00 for it not worth it. which came with rice and beans. The only thing that was hot on that plate was the beans, not to sure of the taste i was just happy to get something hot to eat. everything else was cold not even lukewarm. Once you order they give you the cups for the hot sauces (2) and you have to ask for the covers for them they dont have them by the salsa bar.They have ceiling fans why would any restaurant have them?
