I highly recommend Tacos Brambila. We had them come to a big 60th birthday party and they were a huge hit. As the party organizer I really appreciated the excellent communication and responsiveness to our questions, and their service was exactly as promised. Their pricing was fair but more importantly the food is outstanding. We had them serve three meats for the tacos (pork, chicken and beef) as well as quesadillas and mulitas, plus chips, salsa and guacamole. The team was kind and pleasant and they worked hard. The trailer is beautiful and gave the party a real flair. And they rolled with our unexpected challenges, including a surprise parking / mud situation, with ease. Definitely check them out if you've got a party to plan.

Cheezus Christ that was delicious! Ordered the birria tacos and a giant Gordita burrito. Birrira tacos were very tasty. The burrito was one of, if not the best burrito I've ever eaten in my life. Asada, Al Pastor, and chicken! Plus the cheese added to the outside of tortilla! I didn't eat the burrito until a day later and it still blew my mind, I definitely can't wait to eat it fresh in two weeks when you guys come back to my area. I might just come find you guys before that! I'll be seeing you guys every two weeks in greenhaven!

10 stars!!! My family loves this food truck so much we decided to used them to cater a memorial for our loved one. Everything was perfect. From the ease of placing our order, to the delivery of the food to our location. They worked with our budget, the food was DELICIOUS, and plentiful portions. Tacos Brambila really took the pressure off us during an emotional event. I would trust them for any of our catering needs. Everyone commented on how delicious and fresh the food was. Thank you guys. We will definitely see you soon.

Fat boy nachos. So delicious. Carne asada, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico de galo and cilantro all fresh.

We visited the taco truck when it was at Boa Vista today. The meat is very tender and juicy. I absolutely loved the flavor of the carne asada. Very delicious nachos. Very fresh ingredients. The staff cooking was very friendly. Definitely will try this again.

I really liked the food here unfortunately the meat choice for our burritos was mixed up on our order. Unfortunately my partner was upset about this. Needless to say I'll be flying solo next time i visit. Can't wait to get more tacos. Update 20 minutes later just finished my pastor Super Burrito ohmygod the blackend jalapenos really make it pop. We can't wait to have the carne asada Cali Burrito tomorrow. Why isn't this place open everyday?

Discovered this nifty little taco truck a few months ago when they were just starting out. So far we've tried everything in their menu and they're all awesome! Their meat is well seasoned, well prepared. The ingredients they use are fresh. They're as authentic as the real Oaxaca street tacos as we can get in NorCal. They accommodate all your requests, extra this, crispy that. We've come to an extent where I encourage people to try their food, my coworkers, social media followers, friends, neighbors, everybody! That's how we support a good running little local business. We're waiting for Angie and Pedro to have a storefront where we could all sit and dine and just eat all the tacos we can handle. But for now, their budding catering gigs are what's keeping them afloat. So, if you need a taco truck to cater for your birthday, wedding, weekend party, hit them up 'cause they're the best around town! No frills, just simple Mexican food that you'll crave every week and make hnggg noises while you're munching down on their food.

I would be hitting Placerville around 7:30pm on a weekday and options were limited. This place had decent Yelp reviews, so I gave it a try... and it was a fantastic end to a really terrific day. I didn't have much cash with me, but dropped a few bills in the tip jar. Next time I come back, I will be sure to leave more! -It was at the end of the day, but service was prompt. -This is also one of the few taqerias I've been too lately lately that still has a free chip and salsa bar. I was really hungry and appreciated freshly made chips! -The first bite ofmy chili relleno burrito pure joy! It was loaded with guacamole with just the right amount of jalapeño and cilantro. There was zero skimping in this thing! I kept expecting to get to a place in the burrito where there would be no guacamole, and that never happened. I should've only eaten half the burrito, but I devoured the entire thing. This is definitely a place I will return to next time I'm passing through Placerville!

The food was yummy. Our waiter was terrific. I ordered Rojas chicken posole. It was served in a big ole bowl that was bigger than my Charlie Brown head. The broth had a good flavor. The shredded cabbage was served already mixed in the posole. The posole was topped with chopped onions, dry oregano, and chopped cilantro with lime wedges served on the side. I'm used to everything served on the side including the cabbage. I like to control the quantity of toppings. A bit of a control freak. Next time I'll ask for the items on the side. The posole had a lot of shredded cabbage and hominy. Each spoonful had a textured crunch from the cabbage. Slurping and chomping my posole. The hominy was soft and tender without being mushy. The complimentary chips n salsa were divinely delicious. Salsa was packed with flavor, nice thickness. No watery soupy salsa here. The chips were crisp and light. This Paco's is a sit down casual restaurant while the one in Pollock Pines is counter service. Both have a fun luchador theme that's understated without being outrageous. This location has a bar in the dining room shared space. The atmosphere can get rambunctious. Not rowdy but rambunctiously loud.

The dipping sauce was so flavorful too. Highly recommended! The chile verde plate was ok, not much pork up in there. In comparison, we had the chile verde burrito at the taqueria and were super happy with it. Will probably stick with the tacos and burritos in the future, but overall a solid choice in Placerville!

Yay! Our new favorite lunch place on Main Street!…read more We just stopped by last weekend, we've been wanting to try this place out but it just hadn't happened.... Last Monday we decided to have lunch there, one of our regular places is closed Mondays and this place was open so we checked it out...and we're SO SO glad we did! Atmosphere was nice and server was very friendly from the moment we walked in. First thing I noticed; $5 mimosas!! I asked if they did anything other than orange juice and yes, they had several other options so I had the cranberry version. Delicious! I went with their mac and cheese, my partner got the basic hamburger. Mac and Cheese -- definitely very bacon forward, much more than I prefer. That being said, I still liked it, it also had sour cream and green onion on top. Bacon lovers will LOOOVE this version, there is LOTS of it and every bite you can taste it. Normally I prefer my mac & cheese with no bacon or just a bit here and there, I prefer to taste more of the cheeses.....again, it still tasted good, its a good serving and I ate half and had enough to save for the next day at work. Creamy and well made, again I just prefer to taste more cheese than bacon. I wouldn't order this again but like I said, a bacon lover will LOVE this version. Now, my partner's burger was Incredible. We are PICKY with our burgers, and we both thought this one was fantastic. Big, and great ratio to the bun. He ordered it medium and asked for "a little char" and they made it perfectly. I took a bite and yeah, I'd order that for sure. The fries were great, too. Overall we were super happy with our lunch, I thought it was priced fairly as well. We will definitely be back!!

I'll give 2* because the food (when it came) was great…read more We've been to Franny's a couple times before and had O.K. service and good food. The pitfalls of the restaurant seem to be entirely the service. Most recently we went to Franny's on Mother's Day. We had reservations and walked in, on time. We were initially sat in a nice booth in the front of the restaurant. It was my wife and I plus our 2 kids, the table size seemed appropriate. After being sat, we sat without talking to a server for 10+ minutes, not even getting waters. Eventually, when someone did come, it was a waitress/hostess telling us that there had been a mix up, and we needed to move. We weren't excited on the idea, as we were happy where we were, but we moved to the back of the restaurant. This time we sat for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any wait staff. At this point it is 9:25 and we've been seated for 25 minutes without even water. Finally a waitress comes, and takes our drink order, and our food order as we'd definitely had ample time to look over the menu. About 9:50 the food arrives. My wife and kids' food comes and is great. My food comes and looks off, and the waitress tells me that the kitchen accidentally made me a "veggie" scramble instead of the chorizo that I had ordered, but that she'd get me some bacon and all was well. I asked what was in the veggie scramble and was told it has mushrooms, which is a hard pass for me. She told me she could have what I had actually ordered made but it would "take a long time". I said O.K. - what else was I going to do? Finally it comes, and my wife is done eating, and the kids are close, so, I asked for it to be "boxed up". The waitress rolled her eyes and set to the task. I'm not a restaurant snob - but I really expected an apology or something to be "comp'd" due to the rough experience, but nope, full bill and no apology. Regrettably, despite Franny's being a local joint and having good food, we won't be back.
