Asada Torta
Ravi H.

Perfect place for a quick and affordable meal. The tortas are my favorite item on the menu. Under $10, great portion size, and the meat seasonings are excellent. Haven't tried vegetarian options yet. Their tacos and mini burritos are also deliciousLove their guacamole salsa and their spicy salsa as well. You can order at the kiosk or with an employee. If it's your first time, the kiosk is nice because it has photos of all the options. Fast-casual environment where you bus your own tables and fill your own soda.

Carne asada Mullitas

As someone who loves tacos and a California native, these tacos and mullitas are delicious. The carne asada and adobada is so flavorful and tender. I love that they offer nopales as a vegetarian option, never been to a place that offers this too. Plus the pricing is very adorable in comparison to other places I have gone. Service was quick and the ambiance had Mexican music to go along with the tacos.

Ordering kiosk that took a human's job.

The food is great, but the music is so freaking loud I can't hear my wife talking who is standing right next to me. It as so freaking loud! It's not the first time I've experienced this at Taco Chili's. Not recommended for dining in. Order their delicious food for pick up/take out only unless you want to go deaf from the overwhelmingly loud music. Geez, turn it down! I also dislike the ordering kiosk that takes away a human's job, but considering how loud the music is, no wonder they rely on a computer to take orders.

Tacos- asada (top right), pollo (bottom right), and adobada pork (with pineapple)

The tacos were great! The pineapples were warm and grilled adding more flavor to your tacos. The salsas had just enough kick, but not too much where you need water. The chicken had so much flavor and the steak meat was good quality. The food was served pretty quick too. We visit here every time we come to Seattle. A+++ Ps. The bathroom was very clean 7/1/24

"Beans"  :/

Let's taco'bout Tacos Chukis... I found myself coming here with two colleagues when I was in the Seattle area recently taking a Thai Massage workshop. We had a one hour break for lunch and this was one of the few restaurants close by. I LOVE tacos but these were not even close to the best tacos I've had. They were okay though and I was hungry so I ate them. The taco meat was so-so, not as fresh as other Mexican restaurants, and I ordered a side of beans and the beans I received certainly weren't what I expected.. they were beans but they did not look or taste appealing whatsoever. They were pretty dried out and lacked in the flavor department. I'd say Taco Chuckis gets points for effort and guac included free on the tacos which is always a plus in my book- oh and they have the Jamaica (hibiscus)drink which is something I enjoy. Overall, If I were to come into this area again I'd skip Tacos Chukis and either get something to eat at the grocery store across the street from here or check out the nearby Chinese place instead.

Menu! And their delicious horchata

Insanely good food. Everything else is a cherry on top! The Excellent staff. Great for groups. Awesome prices. Clean. There's even a 15 and 30 min parking just outside and a few other parking spots. I still remember when the original location opened in Capitol Hill! It was always insanely busy! This is a local favorite. So happy have have so many locations now! Today I ordered a baby burrito, their house tacos, kearny Asada taco, adobado taco and 2 horchatas! Highly recommend this place!

Tacos Chukis special with Carnitas and pineapple. I always ask for extra cilantro.

If you've never been to Tacos Chukis on Beacon Hill -- it's the best of the best. For $2.75-$3.20 you can get a Carnitas a.k.a. pork taco with a chunk of pineapple ($ .50 for the cheese) onions, cilantro, salsa. I asked for extra cilantro. Holy cow. There's so much happiness in six and a half dollars worth of food...you have no idea. Every bite is perfection. I could eat this every day. And if it's after work, you add a can of cold Tecate for $5. Service is always great -- friendly and Swift. The place is always clean. You bus your own trays.

These are my favorite tacos Seattle has to offer! The food is flavorful and fresh. The house taco is what dreams are made of, protein forward with fresh pineapple, I could just cry thinking about it. It's a must order if it's your first time. The menu is simple. There's a taco for everyone. Ordering is easy, and I love all the Mexican soda options available! The service is quick, and this location specifically is new, modern and clean.

Taco Chukis was an appropriate and convenient stop at after having a few at the local drinking spot. The menu here is pretty simple but the young lady at the register was very nice and gladly helped me with some suggestions. I went with pair of Carne Asada tacos and a pair of "Taco Chukis", house tacos. They were small but full, with great presentation, particularly with the nice helping of guac on top of the Carnes and a nice slice of pineapple on the house tacos. It all came to a little over $13 so not bad at all for a single order. Taco Chukis has a very new 'look' inside. With seating of various types, including outdoor, it looks very inviting as it sits in intersection in Central District. So overall. Pretty good tacos, at a cool looking spot, after drinks. Would come back for sure.

Go-to spot for a snack The Chuki tacos are a must - good char flavor and the sauce and pineapple combo make this an obvious #1 order on their menu The mini burritos and mulitas are both heavy underrated - can't go wrong with any pick of meat although I personally go with carne or pollo The parking can get pretty hairy since it's on 23rd but you can usually find something close by Cheers, Tacos Chukis

2 house tacos and 2 asada tacos
Connie A.

This location is probably one of the most spacious with plenty of seating but I noticed most customers ordered to-go instead of dining in. Spotless and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I typically order the house special tacos (pork and asada are both delicious) because that slice of grilled pineapple makes a tremendous difference. 4 tacos come out to be just over $12. Taste is always consistent and I remain a tacos chukis fan!

Love the house tacos with a chunk of pineapple. Reminds me of the spots in LA!

The chile verde pork is so good, my wife, who primarily orders vegetarian, goes for all their variations, quesadillas being her favorite. This weekend is Valentine's Day, and while I am not with my beloved, George and Erika shared a sample of their new menu items, chilaquiles (heart shaped for the holiday) - both chili verde and chipotle. The other item was a stack of tres leches pancakes, with fruit. While all were delicious, I liked the chipotle chilaquiles the best. Good enough to make me consider mixing up my wet burrito with salsa macha in the future. So, we just came back from Playa del Carmen Mexico, where we hoped to have some over the top Mexican food. While breakfast was great it wasn't enough to outshine Fire Tacos. A waiter at one restaurant summed it up well. Everyone in Mexico makes good food, but the best of the best succeed in the US. She and her husband own the restaurant and started the restaurant from a food cart and then opened on Alki. Another is opening on Capitol Hill soon too. They are killing it with their food. Everyone was in great spirits and we just had the best experience eating, having a beverage, and watching a World Cup game. Fire Tacos is right on Alki beach and in the summer, they pull up the garage door side walls and have an open air restaurant! Get there! You will be happy you did! Say hi to Erika!

There was no clear line for online orders or ordering in person and the environment was chaotic and unorganized. I told the gentleman my name for the order and he said we're still working on it while walking away from me. I was told to step aside and waited over 30 minutes as I watched other folks order and grab their food in a timely manner. After some time, my food that was sitting on a shelf was given to me. Upon coming home and opening my food, I found that it was lukewarm and nearly cold. In addition to that, my order was wrong. Their phone number does not work so I had to come back in person to communicate their errors. They remade my food and gave me free chips and guacamole, but that doesn't change the fact that I wasted over 60 minutes of waiting and driving back and forth for a simple order of tacos. An incredibly frustrating experience for food that I actually like and enjoy eating.

Chips with the queso were dark and fried so crispy they were pretty hard. Queso was thick and just ok. Baklava was a very small piece for the price.

let's just say that this filled me up with so much food i didn't eat for the next 22 hours…read more for the price (only 12 dollars) that's a ridiculous portion size where to even start these seemed to be soft tacos, but with a full melted cheese covering on both sides of the shell i would say that's my only slight disappointment - that these weren't really crispy at all - there was no real crunch when i would bite into one of them - rather it was just slightly harder than a soft taco the cheese did add a great flavoring to the outside though - making this more than a normal taco shell each taco was absolutely overflowing with stuffing - it got to the point where the plate became another full meal by itself from everything that fell out of the taco the two main components of each taco were the cheese and the chicken the cheese was so perfectly melted - may have been the best cheese in a taco i've ever had it created such a satisfying cheese pull every time you took a bite - and it was one consistency throughout, meaning every time you took a bite you had to pull the cheese away from the rest of the taco - which was just fantstic as for the chicken - i was slightly disappointed that it wasn't spicy in the slightest. However, it still tasted like it had a really nice flavor, and had a soft interior. It being actually spicy would've moved this dish up a lot, though each taco was primarily made out of this chicken - and there was so much of it it was practically insane - but I loved this amount shoutout to the onions as well - they were great I asked for the habanero sauce - which i thought was ok - wasn't spicy at all and didn't add much flavor. will go with another sauce next time tried mixing in some taco bell fire sauce which was interesting i love that these came wrapped in aluminium foil to preserve heat. a great touch overall, as far as taste, these were pretty good, but when you consider the amount of meat you're getting, along with overall portion size - it's simply a fantastic meal.

After lots of great suggestions, we decided to detour and head to Taco City. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff -- always a great start. We kicked things off with the Dip Trio: chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso. It was fantastic. The guac and chips were on par with my longtime favorite spot, the queso was rich and delicious, and the salsa had a unique flavor that really stood out. It easily could have fed four or more people. I ordered the birria tacos. They were generously filled with flavorful beef and served with equally delicious consommé. For my personal preference, I would have loved them just a little crispier -- but otherwise, they absolutely hit the spot. My favorite dining partner ordered the Taco Trio -- two carnitas and one chicken. He's an "authentic taco" guy, and he said they were fabulous.
