Good Mexican store to try. I had their Taco entree which came with 3 tacos, rice, and beans. The meal was good and I was mostly satisfied with the portioning. I did wish I had maybe 4 tacos or more beans/rices. I had my tacos with grilled steak (extra $1.50) and it was cooked well. Very flavorful and delicious. The rice and beans were decently good. Not the best I've ever had. The service was okay. I ordered through the kiosk and it's so far the worst kiosk I've ever used. The kiosk itself it's user friendly or visually appealing. The worse thing about it was that it timed out quickly, so if you were working on an order, it deletes everything. The food didn't take long to make though. The ambiance was nice. A solid spot on the Queen Anne area. The inside is decorated nicely and colorful and vibrant colors and wall decorations. They have decent options that feature typical Mexican food. Dos Chamucos was recommended by a friend who works in the area and visits often. We came in for a pre-concert nosh and were not disappointed! The food was tasty, fresh and fast. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is a ton of seating which is great because there were a ton of people there when we went. Ok there are taco joints, roach coaches and those little places you hope never change because they are so good and food arrives exactly as you order it that you are surprised in a very good way. Normally I order no onion and no cilantro on my tacos and of course they add more, so consistently that I stopped caring and gave up having food delivered as ordered. Or they dont have Mexican coke or they try to sell me Orange Crush knockoff... no I want Jarritos but they want to be thought of as authentic. Easy walk in spot very limited parking. Authentic Mexican street tacos. Great flavor, great condiment on plate was the pickled sweet onions. Priced right, 3 filled me. Beer selections was solid, house margaritas too. Clean tables and floors. No outside seating. TV's with sports on so you don't miss hockey or baseball game. Only missed five stars for time it took to get food, 17 minutes for three street tacos when they are not busy seemed long. The servers are super nice and helpful, the drinks poured real strong, and the food comes out quick and tasty. I'm sorry in advance but I don't like to give poor reviews but this place was not good at all. Being Mexican I have certain standards. Mine and my husbands burritos had ZERO meat in it. The beans and rice were good in it but I wanted some Al pastor in my burritos. A friend I was with ordered a chicken burrito which had 1 small piece of chicken in it: The only good thing about this place was their michelada which was not heavy or oversalted. Their guac was decent too but the stale chips killed it. Probably the most disappointed I've been with a Mexican restaurant in Seattle and lord knows there's plenty of spots to compete with for that title. Came here a couple Friday night's ago. Was craving birria tacos. I ordered the birria taco plate with a mango margarita. The tacos were unlike any I ever had. The tortillas were not dipped in the consommé and fried, like I'm used to. They were also kind of bland. The consommé was flavorless & watery. Rice & beans were decent. My friend and I were in the mood for Mexican food before we went to a concert a Climate Pledge and found this little corner spot as we were walking through the area. This is a hidden gem!!! You walk right up to order, get a select of hot sauces and find a seat. We both ordered the chicken taquitos and let me tell you - they were some of the best taquitos I've ever had! Perfectly crispy, full of chicken and super cheesy. They had that perfect crunch as you bit into them and I loved that it came with guac, rice and beans. My best friend and I walked by this place on our way to the tobacco shop and saw that they had 5$ breakfast burritos. For 5$ I was expecting something way less than what we got. When I got to the counter I ordered at a Kiosk while the worker at the counter there was very consumed in their phone, texting away with his back to us the whole time. After getting our order put in, the kiosk requested a tip at the end and "suggested" 15%, which was concerning because I had to put in my own order and I noticed that the layout of the restaurant meant that I also had to bus my own table, so WHY exactly am I tipping then? Why do they deserve a tip if I"m doing all the work here? Why shouldn't I just go to chipotle? All valid questions. I also got a bottled drink (super over priced btw) from there which was behind the bar and the guy asked if I wanted it opened, umm yea?? Do I need to use my teeth? Jarritos doesn't have twist tops man. lastly the food quality was good but it was very expensive and portions were super small. I come here for either breakfast or lunch and sometimes both almost every day in Seattle. In the mornings, I get there two breakfast burritos for nine dollars. They are so good and they don't skip on the meat. I usually get the steak and eggs fire. How is it only nine dollars like this is cheaper than McDonald's? In the afternoons, I almost always get three street tacos. Al Pastor with the pineapples on them so good. Cost. $9. How are they even making money with these prices not only that I am blown away by how good the food is every time Not to mention their service, they always have the nicest people working the till. Came on a Thursday night so not too crowded. I ordered the tacos and it was all yummy yummy yummy! The only reason I'm removing a star is because I asked for all onions to be placed on the side, yet they were still placed on all my tacos. I brought the tacos back to the counter and gently reminded them of this, and they gave me back the same thing. It's kind of a recurring thing I hear, and that is that there is no good Mexican or Tex-Mex food in Seattle. I don't know if it's just me, but that just isn't true, and it's not true for here at Dos Chamucos Taqueria. Stopped in here with my buddy (who also gave a warm Yelp review here) for some Tacos. The young man at the counter was very nice and explained some of the menu items to me. Also, even though I didn't spring for a drink, he immediately handed me a cup for water, so great service there. He even upsold me on the Beef Birria tacos. Runs about $12 for 2, but worth it! I got an order of theses with some standard tacos at $2 a piece. The Birria tacos were so packed, so beefy, and so good! It comes with a little bit of rice, sour cream and a dipping broth that's nice and hot. My Al Pastor taco, though small, was packed with flavor, so definitely recommend that as a protein choice. Right on the corner in Queen Anne so it's hard to miss, maybe also hard to park if you're coming by car, but don't think just because it's out in the open, this place is commercial. My partner had the chicken and then the beef and he said they were "eh". Seems like a good spot for quick and affordable food but didn't really impress us much.
