I just have to take the time here to RAVE about these guys. We have used Tacos Del 8 for, I would say, at LEAST 10-15 events at this point (we have also used them for corporate events at work!). Not only are they highly professional, extremely prepared to serve large numbers of people EXTREMELY efficiently, and absolutely delicious, but they even treat us and our guests like family. They have never, ever failed us in any way, and I have yet to hear one SINGLE person at ANY of our events say one bad thing about them (corporate events included!). First time that I had them was at my niece's bday party and food was very good! You get the 3 meats and they will even make quesadillas and have lots of options for sides: rice, beans, salsa etc... We went with them for our event this time as we were organizing our baby shower. Had about 60 ppl- everyone went up multiple times for 2nds and 3rds!! Heard lots of positive feedback from everyone throughout our event. We ran out of chicken at toward the end of the event and did not have very much left at the end. We had a few ppl cancel before the event so we thought that we would have more than enough food, but had just enough for everyone there. If everyone would have shown up we probably would have run out of food I think, but everyone had big appetites, lots of positive feedback, so no complaints. I will continue to hire this family run company for every single event AND refer them out, that's how much I like them! I just used Ralph and Theresa's taco services for my second event and they were prompt, kind, generous and the food was delicious. Many of our guests commented that the tacos, quesadillas and veggies were SO good. We also had beans and rice, and all the utensils and paper goods were provided. Tacos Del 8 works with you to find the best location to set up and are up and running in no time. After our two hours of serving time, they left the extra food for us to enjoy for the rest of the evening and next day. My favorite thing about them is how personable they are. Ralph addressed me by name and would check in with me to make sure my guests and I were satisfied with their food and services. I used Tacos del 8 for a party of 65ppl for my daughter's birthday on 12/3/16. I was so impressed with their service, and stress free set-up, in addition to their delicious street tacos. My large Mexican family are such critics when it comes to street tacos, and can spot out a mediocre taquero. However, everyone was greatly satisfied with their quality of food, food options(they offered grilled veggies for non meat eaters)and the ability to enjoy multiple plates of food. I was also able to take home the leftovers which provided me with 2 additional days of food. I used Tacos Del 8 to cater my wedding this weekend and the food was fabulous. They showed up on time even though it was a hard spot to find. They set up in accordance with the rules of the venue. They had food ready to go on time. The food was delicious. They even brought a veggie option for the vegetarians at my event. There was plenty of food. They packed up the extras for me to take home at the end. They had 3 meets, grilled veggies, soy chorizo and all the toppings and little tortillas. From my initial contact, the responses from Teresa were always prompt and always accommodating. I hired Tacos Del 8 for my son's first birthday. We had 60ish adults and 35ish kids. I confirmed for 100 and we had plenty of food plus leftovers. People were even going back for thirds+. They were very professional and happily met all my requests. I had some vegetarians coming and I don't eat beef or pork so they cooked chicken ahead of time for me that didn't touch other meats and cooked veggies ahead of time as well that were meat free. They also made quesadillas for the kids (and adults). 4 meats, quesadillas, chips, salsa and all the fixings were included in the price. I did lots of research prior to hiring them and they are very reasonably priced and worth every penny. Superb tacos! Superb service! I want to give them six stars, but five is as high as it will allow me to go. :-) I found Tacos del 8 on yelp, and we call them for guaranteed delicious food. We first had them at our housewarming back in 2010. The carne asada tacos are amazing, and they make quesadillas as well. After the event, they package up and leave all of the leftover food. Plates, napkins, the extras to garnish the tacos, and chips are included in the price. They arrive on time and true to their word on their business card, they "cook till everyone's gone for seconds or...thirds!" We just recently had them cater another event at our home on March 18, 2012, and we were overcharged by $30.00. Upon realizing the mistake, we received an e-mail apologizing for the overcharge AND we received a check with our refund shortly thereafter. Amazing customer service! In May I have them coming to cater an event at the school where I work, and we hope to have them for my sister's college graduation party as well. I've joked that I need to think of other reasons to have them cater another event. read more

Jonathan and Laura arrived when promised and set up in our backyard. They were so professional and friendly, very easy to work with. They prepared everything and the smell of grilled meat filled our neighborhood. They took great care of all of our party guests (my son's high school graduation party). EVERYONE raved about how delicious everything was. I ordered the rice and beans and also the "good guacamole" or pico de gallo with avocado. I should have ordered two pans of that because everyone gobbled that up. We loved the selection of meats, the grilled veggies, the quesadillas, and of course the tacos. Wow - Top Notch. Can't say enough good things about Tacos Del 8. We just had them serve our company picnic at Wilson Park in Torrance. The key to any great event, especially a picnic, is food. Secondly, they were so easy to work with, super mellow, and professional. Thirdly, anyone I have bumped into that attended our wedding just RAVES about the food.
