Birria taco, Al pastor taco, asada taco
    Natalie V.

Stopped in for dinner before heading to the airport. I ordered the birria taco and the asada and then the waitress recommended the Al pastor. Normally i don't like Al pastor because the pineapple chunks are huge and idk not a huge pineapple on anything person. But let me tell you the Al pastor was my favorite so flavorful and the pineapple was cut up very finely! Birria taco was also amazing. I'd pass on the asada taco and get another pastor or Birria. Service was good, and plenty of parking. Fast service.

Honestly, some of the best Mexican or street tacos I've had in a very long time. The Al pastor was delicious, perfectly seasoned, the Birra simple, Tinder, and delicious, and *whatever their special street taco is* quite rich, a bit over the top for me, but grateful for walking away very full. I can't recall the name of it, but it's the right most taco in the photo, really a quesadilla with cheese, and fried tortillas. I'd highly recommend this place!

3 asada and 2 carnitas tacos.

I've been eyeing this place and finally decided to check it out. I got 3 asada tacos and 2 carnitas tacos. The carnitas were a bit tough but the asada were tender. Good flavors and quick, friendly service. They're not the best tacos I've had but they're good. I'd try them again and maybe update my review.

This Mexican food restaurant is located in a little strip mall just off of Perry Crossing. There is a decent sized parking lot that it shares with the other businesses in the mall. The returant has a decent sized dining area with booths and tables. There is Mexican music playing throughout the dining area and there are a couple of televisions around the area that had sports playing while I was there. You will also see a Danny's ice cream cooler and a full bar in the restaurant too. The restaurant was clean and tidy. This is a traditional Mexican restaurant, so of course you will get some complimentary chips and salsa to nibble on while you wait for your food. They have a large menu full of your Mexican food favs including, fajitas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, salads and nachos. They also have Mexican ice cream and other Mexican desserts on the menu. For the adults that like to indulge, they offer some very savory drinks including margaritas, daiquiris, tequila, beer, and wine. I ordered the Cubano Torta, which came with fries. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my food and it was fresh, hot and pretty good. The torta was missing something though, I just could not put my finger on it. It was a lot of food and I had to get a box to take some of it home because I could not finish it. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed my lunch here and recommend checking this place out.

Streets tacos: Al pastor, chorizo, camaron, lengua (Pastor, spicy sausage, shrimp, beef tongue)

Delicious. The food is so so good. Get the shrimp, beef tongue, huitzuco tacos. Service is great and speedy, fun casual eatery. Free chips and salsa, as God intended. Best tacos in Hendricks county by far.

We found a wonderful Mexican restaurant that has been here for a couple of years but wasn't on our radar. We haven't been in this section of the strip center since this was Dickey's BBQ several years ago. We've now been here twice by ourselves and then brought family on Saturday for our third visit in a week and a half. We were tickled that the family enjoyed lunch on Saturday as well. Tacos Don Pablo just hits all points for us from excellent, friendly service, ice cold draught beer, cocktails, margaritas, table service, authentic Mexican food, and affordable prices. Another surprise and positive is that they serve a reduced number of Danny's Mexican ice cream directly from a smaller Danny's freezer on-site. Speaking of lunch, they offer a lunch menu Monday - Friday from 11:00a - 3:00p. or order off the regular menu. Parking isn't a problem with the large shared strip center parking. Our first server here was Buky, who was amazing, and he helped make our first visit so truly enjoyable. Since then, we have found all the server friendly, glad to answer questions, efficient, attentive without being intrusive, and removed used dishware quickly. Another positive was that the music was at a volume where we could have a nice conversation. We enjoy the complementary salsa and chips. We haven't ordered an appetizer yet since we're always so full after our meals. We've now enjoyed the Cameron's a la Diablo twice, Chili Colorado, Quesabirria Tacos, and the Carnitas dinner. The dinners are so good that we keep reordering an entree one of us had previously, so we're not rushing through the menu sampling different entrees. I love Flan and try to order at every Mexican restaurant we visit. It was no different here as I've had the Flan twice now. Both times, the Flan was fresh and creamy, and Taco Don Pablo's serves a generous amount of carmel sauce on their Flan, which I love. We're both happy with Taco Don Pablo's and hope the food quality and service continue to be as satisfying as during our last few visits.

First time eating here... Free chips and salsa w good salsa and 3 different sauces at table, green, orange and red(like a roasted Chipotle my fav). Good amount of spice to them. Atmosphere is nice with tables and booths, full service bar and catchy music...good vibes, open kitchen style... Service good! Food...they have tacos, quesidillas, Nachos, menudo some days and tamales...I am differing to Tacos w cilantro onion...of course my go to al pastor, birria, cecina and throw in a campechano(not on menu but they had steak and chorizo so I asked, they obliged) Tacos were on point and Delicious. Pastor was Seared yet moist and flavorful, birria was as expected meat was tasty, campechano chorizo was homemade possibly and tasty, cecina was my least favorite but still good... Will return and nice job

I stopped in for lunch after exploring the stores at Perry Crossing. The restaurant is located in the spot that used to be occupied by Dickeys BBQ. I like the open airy ambiance of the restaurant. Diners are free to seat themselves so you can pick and choose what view you want. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, they don't have complimentary chips and salsa which I didn't mind. I chose the Jamaican agua Fresca to drink and a asada burrito. The agua Fresca was delicious and not too sweet. Initially, the waitress had brought me horchata and I'm glad I was familiar with the two drinks to know I had been brought the wrong drink. The burrito came with two sauces - a green and red sauce. There was also another space in a yellow bottle. I used the green sauce which I would categorize as very mild while the sauce in the bottle had more of a kick to it. Overall the food was delicious and I'm glad I tried it.

This place is legit! Contrary to some of the other reviews I've read for Tacos Don Pablo, we got complimentary chips and salsa, so maybe they have changed that policy. I ordered the veggie burrito, which was stuffed full of rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and big meaty mushrooms (you can also choose spinach or California veggie mix). This burrito was so good and very filling. My daughter ordered pastor and birria tacos and said they were awesome. Our server brought three bottles of sauce before we got our entrees. The creamy one was my favorite, but the green and red sauces were also good. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely return!

I popped in for a quick lunch. The service was incredibly fast and friendly. And the tacos were delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Pastor taco is a seasoned pork and pineapple, yummy!

This is my new go to for authentic Mexican Food. Living in San Diego and being in Indiana for 6 yeasts its been a hit and miss for really good Mexican food. This place has the best street tacos, flan, and their steak burritos are stuffed big. Their beans are homemade and not greasy. Really everything is made in house. They have 3 different kinds of salsa. A green Verde no spice at all, a red smoky has a little spice, and the orange has a little more spice and not smoky. The rice is fresh and moist. The pastor is pork and pineapple really really good. The steak is perfect and not chewy. The flan is soft and firm and has a delicious carmel sauce. Think of a pudding texture. Steak Torta is so good and filling. It's basically a burrito but on a oval mexican bread. The price is very fair and on point especially with the cost of everything going up. The burrito is $9.99 and the tacos are $2.99 per taco. Try this place, you definitely won't be disappointed, I promise!!

A few sprinkled tomato pieces on top and that's it. Very disappointing. I say skip it. Not worth $12 The jalapeño margarita was good but small and pricey $15 and very disappointing they don't offer pitchers. The queso birrie was ok, I didn't see any cheese and it tasted like just beef and a deep fried taco, I opted to add some tomatoes on the side, extra $1.50, which helped but definitely lacked flavor. Husband ordered the Alambre, he enjoyed it and liked the fact that it had bacon, thought it was odd it didn't come with tortillas but the waitress brought us some after we asked , even at no charge. The menu could use some work maybe a few photos would go a long way, had to look on Yelp to see what everything looked like:( The free chips and salsa were ok but they need to bring 2 bowls as one is too small. And a lot of the chips were broken. We Asked for a new bowl, they were better second time. It's definitely more authentic Mexican food than I am not used to but I also prefer spice and bigger portions for my money. The place was beautiful and had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a parking garage next door.

The restaurant filled up quickly, and it is family-friendly. They have a 4-top bar with high wooden stools and 6 tables in the bar area. It is partially enclosed, so you have some privacy. The menu has all the traditional appetizers, entrees, and desserts. You will find a variety of nachos, quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, and chimichangas. I had the Carnitas El Potro with chunks of tender pork tenderloin with onions and jalapeno peppers topped with shredded cheese and served with a side of beans and rice. I wasn't impressed with the pork chunks as they were fatty, but the beans and rice were flavorful. Desserts are available with Chimi Cheesecake, Flan, Sopapilla, and Ice Cream. I had the Flan and thought it was too dense. The Flan sauce was flavorful, but I did not enjoy the texture of this Flan, and it is my favorite Mexican dessert. I will not order this dessert here again. I'm still happy I tried El Potro's tonight and had the opportunity to visit with old and new friends. My entree, I'd say, is just okay, but what I had wasn't exceptional only due to the fatty meat. Some enjoy the fatty meat while others, like myself, do not. My sister loves fatty meat, so this is what she expects. Me, not so much. Our server, Laura, was excellent, and she didn't miss a step. Extra napkins, refills on drinks, additional chips, or salsa were refilled quickly, and used dishes were removed timely. Dinners arrived quickly and served together. My experience with El Potro was a pleasant atmosphere with average food and good service.
