    Receipt showing rice surcharge.

Good salty food with rich flavors. Watery horchata. Clean, tidy shop. I'll be buying burritos from someplace else from now on, though, since they instituted a $2 surcharge for adding rice to a burrito. Who even does that?

These tacos are the ones known from Oakland. A food truck in a neighborhood that probably isn't for the faint of heart... But today you can get them in downtown Hayward, San Leandro and even if your on holiday in Vegas - they are convenient on The Strip. This location is in downtown Hayward. The Tacos taste the same no matter the location. I've had them at all locations and the only difference is the ambiance and maybe the interaction when you order. The original (or at least original to me... I don't know the official story or the timeline in which they expanded) is in Oakland. Its a food truck that is near the Smart and Final and a bunch of other competition - so you know it has to be good in order to survive. No longer do you have to go to this location. That one is a longer wait and harder to order. This location in downtown Hayward is less chaos and who ha on a random Friday or Saturday evening after bar hopping. Downtown Hayward has a lively bar scene and I wish this would be closer to Dirty Bird or Glenn's pizza joint. The building itself is so much nicer than it has to be. Tacos are fresh and delicious. The turnover of meats and overall popularity of the place ensures freshness which is the most important thing. Other competitors might be Fat Boys or Susy Q's. If your a few blocks away drinking in downtown Hayward its worth the extra walk of a couple blocks.

The cashier guy served us very well because it was our first time to there. He gave us 3 different samples of Mexican drinks to try while he was not busy. The food was juicy and seasoned. We saw many customers came in even it was just a normal Thursday. Strongly recommended! Definitely would be back!

Pretty good taco place in downtown Hayward!! I went with the taco bowl, they put the sour cream and guacamole on the side for me. It was pretty good, they gave you enough, along with the chips and salsa. Relatively fast service, the day I came it was not too crowded. It did taste just like the Tacos El Gordo I go to in San Leandro, so they are consistent. The inside of this restaurant is very clean, enjoyed eating here!!

I liked my chicken burrito! The flavors were amazing! I believe there could have been some more cheese . I asked for extra cilantro and onions . Overall I would definitely order another burrito from here again. The churro cheesecake was good. But it definitely needed some vanilla ice cream to go with it.

Lots of meat. Lots of onions and cilantro. Lots of lime slices provided. Radishes provided...wished there was more. Surprised there wasn't any jalapeños provided. Ordering takeout, they immediately provided all types of salsas without asking. SERVICE: Takeout orders didn't have much service. Directly handed the bag of food. VIBEZ: Mainly males and construction workers. Casual. Fast dining. Standard taqueria vibes. Anyway, I came here randomly for lunch because I really liked the one in Dublin. I ordered a quesadilla and 2 tacos with a drink. Honestly it was kinda steep, but that's just how the economy is now. The salsa bar was stocked and it was hella good. The service was nice and everyone greeted each customer so it was good. It was crowded when I went, but there was plenty of seating for everyone. Will come here again if I'm in the area.

While it is part of Southland Mall, it's not attached to the actual mall. It's near Panera and several doors down from Panda. Most tables were filled by the time I arrived on Sunday evening but with only 1 person in line to order. I ordered 3 burritos and 2 tacos to go, and it came to about $55, tip optional. To the left of the ordering area, there is a chips/salsa bar with containers for the salsa/lime, and bags and "boats" for the chips. I prepared chips, pico de gallo, and lime while waiting for my number to be called. Thirty minute commute later, I got home, and we took everything out. Chips were large pieces, very crunchy, and still warm (not sure if warm originally or because they were on top of my food). Tacos were grilled chicken and carne asada. There were 2 tortillas as usual and plenty of meat on top. Squeezed some lime on it, and it was yummy, but I should have poured some salsa on it so that it didn't taste as dry. User error, but I didn't want to be greedy with the salsa and didn't bring enough for the chips and meals. My daughter took the chicken taco home but said the pieces of chicken she picked at had very good flavor. She also took her chicken burrito home, so I can't comment on that. My carne asada burrito had ample amount of steak along w/beans and rice. The pico de gallo kept it from being dry, but I didn't like that it had bell peppers in it because to me, even though it's very little amount, it still overwhelms the taste of everything. The burrito was so large that I could only finish half of it. My husband ate the super fish burrito. While he liked it, he said it didn't have enough fish and possibly had too much sour cream and guacamole (which he's never said before!). Also, he felt the cheese also overwhelmed the taste. I'm thinking if there were more fish, it would have equalized everything though. Overall, if I were in the area, I would return but make sure I dine in to get a better feel of all the flavors and possibly order something else.

Not a lot of taco spots are open late at 10p but I saw that PNT was open. My family and I pulled into the driveway and were confused because it looked and sounded like a bar. There were a few people standing outside and I asked if this was a bar or restaurant and the gentleman said it's a restaurant. We walk in and got some stares because it was late and we had kids. Didn't matter to us. Everything on the menu sounded delish and they had al day breakfast items. We ended up going with the following: 1. Chicken sandwich- 10/10 my teen loved this. It was a crispy thinly sliced chicken breast with all the fixings, and pressed to perfection. 2. Chicken Caesar salad - 10/10 the lettuce was Romain, tossed in Caesar dressing and parm, with grilled chicken filet. 3. 4 tacos de asada - 10/10 yummy chopped steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm not sure if the evening chef cooks better or maybe we were starving, but the food was great! Ambience at the time was pretty loud but I figure it's because people hanging out in the bar area. Definitely will be back.

NOT WORTH MY $44 !…read more I got these food items: Asada tacos- 1/2 of the taco meat was just big oily chunks of fat, I spat it out immediately. Rest of it was tolerable to chew. Tortilla was dry and oily. Al Pastor tacos- bland meat with a lingering dry pepper aftertaste that makes the meat taste old. Took one bite and was immediately repulsed. Chips and dip (guac and salsa)- chips are oily and hard to chew. Guac was bland, no garlic or cut tomato. Salsa was a viscous sludge in a small tub, had the same pepper taste as the Al Pastor. Horchata drink- too much cinnamon and saw multiple lidded to go cups of this already made in the fridge behind the register, no expiration dates on them. ALSO PLEASE UPDATE THE PRICES ON YOUR MENU, I was charged $11.95 for the chips and dip but the menu says "house chips and guac $9.50" ... how is salsa $2.45? Only positive thing I would mention is that the free tiny salsa, slice of lime, sliced radish, and pickled jalapeño and carrot was nice of them. Wish the pickled veggies didn't drip vinegar all over the bag (it was wrapped in tin foil). Never been here before and never coming back again.

Everything was plated beautifully and served quickly without feeling rushed. We also had the pleasure of meeting Miriam, the restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to take care of us.
