    Carne asada torta
    Amanda M.

Since I've last visited this place there has been a change in ownership. Along with that change in ownership was a much expected price increase across all items on the menu... but what I couldn't have anticipated, was the drastic change in service. At the time I visited with my boyfriend it was not by any means busy. There were plenty of open tables for people to sit and the folks behind the counter didn't appear overwhelmed with orders. For a simple order of 5 tacos and a quesadilla, we ended up waiting almost 45 minutes. I was set to leave but my boyfriend really wanted to eat here so we stayed. I asked a few times for an update as I witnessed folks who walked in after we had ordered, get their order before us. Not once, but twice. The staff is not nearly as friendly as they used to be and i'm just not impressed with the way things are running under the new owners.

The torta de asada I got was yummy and i liked the sauce it had. staff just handed it to me since it was to go and didn't offer me sauce or anything so i had to ask and i only got a little cup lol. Service was weird, also need to consider i went for lunch hour so it was super busy .my coworkers got tacos de asada and asked for all the toppings and they didn't put anything on their tacos which was wack and unfortunate when we got to our office. The vibe was cute and i really liked that it had the little disc player. It was pretty warm in there and stuff y tho, no open windows so i suggest asking to open windows or opening them yourself if you eat inside. It's close to my job so i might go again but im not dying to return

I ordered the sope de chorizo and it was delicious. The tacos de cabeza and lengua were good, but the customer service was cold.

    Wet Burrito, Chicken.

One of the best places to get good burritos in the bay. Their wet burritos is delicious if you can handle a bit of spice. My personal favorite is the wet burrito with chicken and green sauce, hits the spot every time. The price and portions are also very reasonable. The staff are very nice and patient. They are generous with the salsa! There is usually a bit of a wait during the lunch and dinner times so keep that in mind. But it's worth it. Parking can be a bit hard due to the corner lot, but there is also some street parking available too.

Carne asada burrito and a carnitas sope

Stumbled upon this place after going to get gas from Costco. There was no wait time and the woman at the counter was so nice! She let us try the different sauces as I don't like spicy and wanted to try them. We got a wet burrito, a carne asada burrito, and a carnitas sope. They were delicious! The meat was perfectly cooked and the sauces had the perfect amount of spice. The sope was our favorite as they made it with cheese that melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon! :)

The asada tacos are delicious. you can order as many tacos as you want. No free water. Either you buy a bottle one, or order soda or their drinks such as the delicious horchata. If you order the soda bottle, be prepared to use a short straw or chug it, no cups available. The ambiance is very casual. You order the foods, find a place to sit down then wait to get your order number to be called to pick up the foods. They accept cc payment and bring cash if you want to tip the staff.

My second favorite Grullense (fave is the one at the gas station on Fifth Ave). The flavors here are excellent and the location can't be beat - perfect for a quick, delicious snack before/after Costco or Sigonas. Every taco here is a winner and the sauce has that perfect slow burn - my go-tos are asada, pastor, and carnitas.

Chicken quesadillas with extra jalapeño e onion.

Chicken quesadilla's for the win! Best quesadilla I've found in RWC - if you know better please let me know. I'll drive across town and pass on the 1.50 hotdog at Costco across the street just to hit this place up. Must get when in town imo!

I have experienced many a taco spot... and nothing compares to the utter freshness, flavor and bang-for-your-buck type of value that is offered here. Due to the Lenten season, my hubs and I were looking for a place that offered seafood tacos and this place was rumored to be the best. After stopping by on our way out of town recently, we knew instantly this was true. The aguas frescas are served iced cold and 100% fresh. My agua de guayaba and my hubs' agua de tamarindo were absolutely to die for. You could absolutely taste the fresh fruit for each. Now for the best part. On Friday's they have a special: $5 fish tacos with tortillas made fresh and by hand... complete with all the fixings. The fish is hand battered, made to order and served piping hot, dressed with cabbage, pico de gallo, and a combination of mayo and chipotle aioli. The picture simply doesn't do it justice, folks. We parked right out front. Parking can be a little challenging, but it's definitely manageable. We walked in around 5:15 PM on a Sunday and found the place completely to ourselves, which makes sense since it's still fairly new. We were greeted by a tall young gentleman at the register who was friendly and welcoming. The menu was organized and specialized, which I really appreciated. Large menus can be overwhelming, and this one felt thoughtfully curated. I ordered two asada tacos, and so did my wife. As we waited, we enjoyed the sweet sounds of Luis Miguel and José José playing in the background. About five minutes later, our food arrived. The gentleman from the register personally brought it over with a great attitude and excellent service. My first impression was how colorful the tacos looked, with vibrant pink and green hues from the toppings. The tortillas had a perfect balance of crispness and softness, while the meat appeared both crispy and tender. I made my way over to the salsa bar and found it clean, well-stocked, and filled with a variety of house-made sauces. When I asked which salsa was the spiciest, one of the ladies in the kitchen pointed me toward the orange sauce. I also noticed some beautifully prepared pickled onions and habaneros--something I absolutely love. I added both to my plate and headed back to the table. After snapping a few pictures, I took my first bite with the orange salsa and the pickled onions and habaneros. My initial reaction was surprise--in the best way possible. The flavors were outstanding. The meat was tender with just the right amount of crispiness. The tortilla was hot, lightly fried, and still delicate. The orange salsa brought serious heat while remaining packed with flavor, and the onions and habaneros added a fresh, savory acidity that tied everything together perfectly. After that first bite, I knew I had made a mistake only ordering two tacos. They were that good. Before I even finished my plate, I walked back up and ordered three more asada tacos. My wife and I were genuinely impressed. The atmosphere was calm, refreshing, and inviting. We left extremely happy with both the food and the experience. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu. I wish this business nothing but success. This is exactly the kind of hard work, attention to detail, and passion that I love supporting. From start to finish, it was an excellent experience. The tacos were, without a doubt, ¡Ta' con madre!
