I'm going to start with their horchata, it was sooo good!! I don't know if it's because we went in the morning and it was freshly made or if it's always like that but it was great!! For food, I had their steak fajita- it was okay, came out sizzling and looking great but the flavor wasn't as good as it looked. Their tacos were also mediocre nothing fancy. Their shrimp cocktail was good though! The servers were extra nice they forgot my horchata so they ended up giving me a free one before we left. They are pretty busy (I went on Sunday afternoon). It's a casual dine in place. It's not too loud nothing fancy but good place to go eat and hang out. I'd come again but I'd consider eating different items. read more

Why I give this place 2 stars, The customer service is horrible. The cashier took my order as she was one the phone with her boyfriend. Messed up my order TO-Go! After I just got out of work. Called back the same day for a refund, her response was," I took your order while I was on my break", I responded back with,"well if you were going to take my order you shouldn't be on the phone, you know customer service comes first right?" She replied back saying," Well I'm a worker & we need our breaks too & I can't refund your money back only my manager can". Wow! Totally hidden gym! I've always seen this place from the freeway and always thought it was in an odd location, but we found ourselves doing business across the street at the RV dealership and thought, let's try it. It was an hour before it closed.... The customer service was excellent! The menu is gigantic and offers several different meat choices along with seafood choices. I had a fajita burrito and the meat was soooooo tender and perfectly seasoned and were the vegetables inside! My wife had a carne asada burrito and always finds something to complain about, but not with this one. She said the meat was delicious and tender as well. The salsa is yummy too! My husband ordered al pastor torta, also disgusting, I think it had a lot of sugar in it, or tasted like potatoes???? We settled to try this place because my go-to Mexican restaurant was suddenly shut down. The parking is located in the back and beware the parking spots are tight and close together. We entered through the back through a tight hallway. The inside is very old looking with traditional Mexican decorations. The floors were dirty and I stepped on about 4 different types of food before sitting down in the booth. The menu has a lot of variety. There is sit down available or you can order to go at the front. I ordered the carne asada torta. It really tasted and looked like a hamburger. It had mustard, tomato slices, and lettuce. It was pretty dry. I was expecting the more traditional torta with queso fresco and the carrot veggie stuff. Overall, the food wasn't good but it also wasn't bad. Been coming here a few times a year for probably the past 4 years now. I usually order the chillaquilles and eggs which are very good and their shredded beef taco dorados(hard shelled) are tasty. I'm not a big seafood person at Mexican restaurants, but about 3 months ago I broke down and ordered one fish and one shrimp ceviche tostadas. Needless to say this is my fifth time back in that time span. Every time they are exactly like the time before....delicious!!! The fish and shrimp are always fresh and cold. Pretty good place. SInce going vegitarian i haven't ordered any meat but have had the BRC burrito and the Chile Relleno. Now i really like the taste but my only complaint is that there is an after taste of "dirty" water. Its probably just the water system in the area but it really puts you off when you taste that. IF they could filter the water they use to remove that taste it would be great because it just ruins the flavor. If you have ever made ice cubes with sink water you know the taste im talking about. She couldn't take 1 minute to run the food to the patio (like she always has done and they all have done ) before, tells me my money aint good there. Thats fine. I got plenty to spend elsewhere I just hope the relleno doesnt taste like sewer water this time. They say to support local business but some dont earn it and this is one. There were zero customers when i ordered, and when i finally came to look for my food there were at least 10 and they all had been served or were waiting. The salsa they gave me was orange water with seeds, the taco shell is store bought, beans are watered down, rice was bland, carnitas was too hard, an the chicken was cold. I won't be going back. Not to mention the lady who took my order stopped to answer the phone as I was talking and didn't tell me to hang on so I waited for her to get off the phone. They seemed a little short staffed for the holiday weekend, but the ladies took my order pretty quickly, & the food was great. Affordable. I ordered huevos con chorizo y corn tortillas. The tortillas were very greasy-I'll pass on those. But for the price, traffic & menu selection, I'd say this place is a hit, especially with the locals. The waitresses were also very helpful in spite of the traffic although they didn't check up on me or the guy across from me who I could see was having a similar experience with the wait & service. Even got a lil side salad as a garnish, but hey the dressing was pretty good, so I had a few bites!
