The place looked pretty run-down when we walked in, and unfortunately the first impression didn't get much better. The person taking our order wasn't particularly welcoming or service-forward, and the table we sat at was noticeably sticky. While we were waiting, a friend of the owners came in and was loudly dropping plenty of profanity, which seemed to be perfectly welcome. Meanwhile, the same person who took our order was now in the back preparing our food. We tried the crunchy homestyle hard-shell tacos that seem to be the big thing online, along with a couple of street tacos. The food itself wasn't terrible. It was definitely on the greasy side, but there was some flavor there. I just wouldn't describe it as particularly authentic or something I would go out of my way for. For me, the bigger issue was the overall experience. The condition of the restaurant, the cleanliness of the table, and the general lack of attention to the customer experience all added up. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but based on this visit, I wouldn't go back or recommend it.
