Soooo we seen this place and thought let's give it a try. My son ordered chorizo plate & my daughter and I ordered asada nachos. No bueno. The chorizo wasn't too bad. But the asada nachos just didn't care for them. The meat is thick & had absolutely no flavor. We also ordered two horchatas and a Tamarindo aguas fresca. My daughter said it tasted funny so I took a sip and it tasted like rotten milk. So I asked for fountain drinks instead and the Tamarindo was not good either. I didn't even drink it I took two sips. There's a spot across the street called La Tapatia, we should have just stuck to that, or even chucks tacos down the street. read more

I thought I would give this place a try because I've been looking for a good Mexican spot. I ordered two Chile burritos, shrimp tacos, shrimp ceviche, and a Carne Asada quesadilla the Chile Riano burrito was just pieces of cut up green chili in a rice and bean burrito. Not a whole chile relleno like a normal chile relleno burrito is made. There's absolutely no flavor in anything. I also got a shrimp taco and the shrimp pieces were cut up to make it look like there was more shrimp in it than there was. The shrimp tacos from Del taco are way better than the ones from this restaurant. The shrimp ceviche also had absolutely no flavor. I had to season it myself for me to even eat it. This salsa tasted like tomato juice. The only thing that was alright was the carne asada quesadilla. this is an insult to Mexican food. There's plenty of better places around the area. Food: 5 Service :5 Ambiance: 4 Great find in a strip mall next to Von's. I had the chorizo and eggs. The chorizo was abundant and it was Smokey and not greasy. The tortillas , rice and beans were all delicious. It's open early and I was the only customer. My waitress was great. With tip, coffee and 4 little snacks that I bought to go... $30. That's a 20% tip. It cost $16 for the actual breakfast. They do charge 3% for using a credit card. There was NO WARNING. I will pay cash next time. But I will be back. Bon appetit. read more

Wow. I'm amazed I'm just now finding out about this place. We came thru on a Tuesday wanting some tacos and decided to try a couple here. I'm so glad we did. I was surprised by the fact this place has A FULL menu of food from breakfast to dinner. Its a legit full scale restaurant hidden near Cold Stone and Vons. I wasnt expecting it but the food was cooked to order and pretty dang tasty. The atmosphere was clean and the service was very good. It all comes down to the cook. The first two times the shredded chicken sopes were spectacular! Bomb in every aspect. I had found my favorite sope spot But this last Saturday morning it all went downhill. I ordered 2 chicken and one chorizo sope and for some reason they all had either lemon or lime squeezed all over them. They tasted terrible. I regret not finding out the cooks name that morning, so I would be sure either not to order or explain to them I don't want any citrus squeezed on my sopes. It was a big disappointment as I was very much looking forward to my Saturday meal. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: I DID NOT GET A REFUND FROM DOORDASH. Visiting during soft opening and this place is really amazing! The servers were very attentive and extremely friendly I truly enjoy when I feel welcomed. We ordered queso fundido (which comes with a choice of flour or corn tortillas), birria tacos with rice and beans, a kid's breakfast plate, and a California burrito which was not pictured (it was just too good). It was very quiet in there but I imagine it's because it's a very new location. I can picture myself being a regular here and cannot wait for my next visit! read more

I had the lunch special Chile Rellano today. And it was so good and the perfect portion for lunch. It came with a drink which is a huge bonus. The dish didn't disappoint it was Bold, vibrant, and packed with flavor. Perfect smothered Chile blend! A true feast for the senses. This is my boyfriend and I's go to spot for chorizo breakfast. We always order the chorizo plate/burrito. They give you a very decent amount of food for what you pay for! The corn tortillas are also handmade, the cherry on top! They also include a little bag of chips and salsa, even for to go orders! My family came here for dinner, but unfortunately the food was pretty disappointing across the board. The fundamentals were just off. The rice and beans were plain and lacked any flavor, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. I ordered the surf and turf burrito, and it was honestly terrible. There was no sauce, no seasoning, it was dry and completely bland. Even the salsa, which is usually a saving grace at most Mexican spots, didn't help. It had no kick or depth of flavor. My wife ordered the shrimp fajitas and had the same issue. Bland, underseasoned, and overall forgettable. That said, the service was great. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we appreciated that. Unfortunately, the food just didn't deliver. With so many great Mexican restaurants nearby, it's hard to see this one standing out unless there's a serious change in the kitchen. read more

Came back for my second visit today to try another of my favorites, quesabirrias! They were delicious, full of flavor and juicy thanks to the side of the birria broth, and checked all the boxes! Staff was friendly and attentive just like before, which is always wonderful. Again, the place was mostly empty, but since it's a new restaurant, I'm sure it'll be popping in no time. Something was wrong with the enchilada sauce, after two bites something began to upset my stomach. I notified the young waitress; however she didn't seem to care. Visited for the first time this morning for breakfast! It was delicious I got the chorizo and eggs, my husband got the machaca! Both were excellent. Their service was amazing, the server kept checking on us to make sure everything was good. I'm so happy we found this place. The restaurant is small. Music was a little sad for my liking. I ordered the chorizo con huevo breakfast plate, my husband had the chilaquiles verdes... the beans tasted (and smelled) burned to both of us, chorizo was a bit on the salty side but still able to eat it and rice was just ok. The chilaquiles left a lot to be desired. Our server was pleasant enough but I felt rushed to order. Never got a refill on my water... ate what we could, as quickly as we could, paid and left.... probably won't be back. read more

I have never been served caldo de res made out of beef bullion, that's what the soup tasted like. Not only did they use bullion it looks like they put a whole bottle of it in it. The soup tasted bitter instead of the flavor it should have Anyways I asked them to drain the soup and I attempted to eat just the meat and vegetables but I was already too disgusted with the whole thing that I ate only part of it and took my medicine, that was the whole reason why I stopped here in the first place, it was getting late for my diabetes meds, and had to eat something. I have no intention to visit this place again. even though the food wasn't good and they knew they still charge me almost $17.00 for the soup i didn't eat. Las Brisas catered my family party. We got the mini appetizers plates, AMAZING! Every single thing was insanely good. Quesadillas, chimichangas, mini tacos, taquitos presented so well on the platter with the guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. Hands down the best chimichangas of my life. 2 hour taco service was awesome. We got carne asada, pastor, and pollo a la plancha...all delicious.
