This my first time coming here with my boyfriend he been here a few times, and I really like it and the food was very fresh and clean and the rest room is well taken care of. I really love the staff and how fresh the food is. It's amazing to be able to come to a place and they remember your name and everything I love that honestly. I really cant wait to come back and bring all my friends. Definitely will recommend to friends and others. By far the best I have ever been to! The food is amazing Thank you so so much. Thank you guys for everything.

Can't believe no one has written a review for such a great place. It's a little cart out in Compton, but for tasty and cheap tacos on a weekend this is the place to go. Definitely a must! Their food speaks for itself, because it just has good flavor. But don't get me started on the condiments that accompany the food. The salsa... One of them is too hot but I don't care because I pile all of them on. "Bring on the spice! I'm trying to get spiced up". The guacamole, you better hope you stop there at the right time before its gone. The cabbage is pretty awesome on the tacos, although its kind of new to me. It must be a Sinaloense thing, after all, it does say estilo Sinaloense, but it works for me. Overall this is just an amazing stop for tacos or whatever else they serve, and its pretty much the only taco spot I think of when I'm craving tacos during the weekend on a late night.

My friend was craving some tacos and said we should go here and it was actually really tasty! We had tacos, vampiros, and a quesadilla with carne asada. The tacos were super fresh, not too oily, and they had a lot of salsa and chile options that were super yummy. The vampiros had cheese and your choice of meat. The carne asada was flavorful and the cheese was melted thoroughly, but the top of the corn tortilla was a little too fried for me. Then we saw the Quesadilla with carne asada and had to try it. It was made with a flower tortilla instead of the vampiro and was way more delicious. Not too much space for sitting unless you get lucky and there's not too many people.

The food was bland and tasteless--honestly one of the worst meals I've had. I wouldn't recommend.!

Seating is outside, perfect for a nice day. Oscar and the team are amazing -- they genuinely treat you like family and make the experience even better. You can feel the love they put into the food. Highly recommend. This spot is a must-try and I'll definitely be back.

It's always taco time so I wanted to give this place a try. Decided to stick to corn tortillas…read moresince they make them on site (but still a fan of flour tortillas). Wound up ordering a birria quesadilla and 3 Al pastor tacos. All with corn tortillas but they charge you $2 extra for corn tortilla on the quesadilla but they didn't charge for the consume which was good. The corn tortilla for the quesadilla was a bit thick for my preference but I think that's the only way to keep all the meat inside and not break. I suggest getting the flour tortilla on quesadillas. But, the birria meat and consume were really good. And, you get a lot of meat in a quesadilla. It's big enough for 2 people. Al pastor was good too. Still need to try the carne asada. They charge 2% fee for credit cards so bring cash unless you ordered online. No parking except street parking which can suck around dinner time as they get busy. They also have few seats inside so you see people order ahead (online or phone) and double park to pick up. And, it's best if you speak some Spanish to communicate. Having said all this, perhaps a 3.5 is my rating.

If you're craving authentic antojitos from Ciudad Guzmán in the southern region of Jalisco,…read moreAntojitos Los Cuates in Compton is absolutely worth the drive. As someone who grew up enjoying the flavors of Jalisco, I had been yearning for the famous raspadas--large homemade tostadas--and the variety of traditional antojitos that are so popular back home. My family and I decided to give this place a try, so we made the drive all the way from Riverside County to Compton, and I can honestly say we were not disappointed. This is a small, family-owned restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food tastes homemade, just like the meals your mamá would make in Jalisco. You can tell that every dish is prepared with care, tradition, and pride. We ordered the tostadas, tortas ahogadas, and tacos duros, and every item was packed with authentic flavor. Unfortunately, we arrived around 3:30 PM and missed out on the pozole because they had already sold out for the day. That alone tells me it's a favorite among their customers, so I highly recommend arriving early if you're hoping to try it. The service was excellent, and despite the restaurant being very busy, the staff remained friendly and attentive. Keep in mind that this is a small family-run establishment, so your food may take a little longer to arrive. However, that's because everything is made fresh to order, and the quality is well worth the wait. Places like this are becoming harder to find. If you're looking for authentic flavors from Jalisco and want to support a hardworking family business, Antojitos Los Cuates is a hidden gem that deserves a visit. We'll definitely be back. You can park on the main street or there's a small parking spot behind the business. Prices are a bit pricey. $17-$19 for enchiladas and tostadas.
