    Shrimp tostada
    Karina G.

So close to an area I've driven by often and never stopped by. On the corner, there's a food truck and a small building, only limited parking spots. My eyes were bigger than my stomach, come with an appetite. I got a combination plate, carne asada(beef) whole beans (no pork, yay!) veggies on the side and nice hot corn tortillas, the chopped up asada had a lil too much fat for me, I know some like it. Additionally, I got a shrimp ceviche tostada, nice and fresh, great tasting! If you order for pick up, go inside the small building, not the food truck. And if you want to order, food truck it is, very kind gentleman taking orders. Food was ready in no time and it was lunch time so happy to make they are efficient. They have a nice big outdoor covered seating area, it was a warm day and under that shaded patio was no sweat. Will be back very soon!

The OG spot for authentic, loaded tacos in Gardena I've been a regular at El Antojito for years, and it remains one of my go-to taco trucks in the South Bay. If you're looking for high-quality, authentic street tacos at a reasonable price, this is the spot. Why I keep coming back: * The Tacos: They come 'fully loaded' and are incredibly consistent. I'm picky about my onions, and they are always happy to accommodate requests, which I truly appreciate. * Efficiency: The staff is consistently friendly, and even when it's busy, the food comes out fast. * The Vibe: It's a truck with a casual outdoor seating area, making it easy to grab a quick, fresh bite. * The Bonus: Don't skip the small shop on the same lot they have the best treats. I highly recommend grabbing an elote or a mangonada to round out your meal. If you haven't tried them yet, add this to your rotation. It's exactly the kind of local gem that keeps the neighborhood food scene great!

My kids used to love coming to this place when they were in high school (circa 2015). I recall the food being tasty and the place was always packed. In the last couple of years, the competition for street tacos has gotten fierce. Some street taco stands even make their tortillas on the spot while preparing your meal. Unfortunately, this place hasn't evolved to meet the challenges and match the competition. The food is not bad, don't get me wrong, but it's not worth going out of your way for it. There is plenty of street parking and lots of tables in an open space area. Bring sweaters and jackets if the weather calls for rain or it's cold. The seating area is under the roof but there are no walls to protect you from the wind.

This tostada de ceviche is hands down the best one I've had in a really long time! I came here around 9:30 pm for some late night cravings for mariscos. I ordered 2 tostadas de ceviche and 2 tacos de al pastor and it did not disappoint one bit! They pack a lot on the tostada and tortilla. The only downside I would say is that it is pricey. Each tostada was roughly $10. I'm not sure how much the tacos were. They served us pretty quickly and there was a lot of people here enjoying some tacos or ice cream. I would def come back!

Delicious and authentic. Live the tacos, ceviche, equite and the, agua frescas. It's a good place to go with family and friends. The atmosphere is lively with the outside dining area. Service could use improvements.

    Fresas con crema

Food was so amazing I actually levitated off the floor. I've never had such an amazing experience , there's nothing like taking a bite of some fresas con crema from el Antojito. Whoever made the fresas con crema needs to get their peach ate on a daily basis . My best complements to the chef.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: 0/5 It NEVER fails. The ladies serving the drinks inside are ALWAYS yapping and acting as if they don't have customers. It can be super empty and they just yap yap yap and ignore the customer. I am big on customer service and the ladies serving inside deserve a BIG fat ZERO stars . There was one guy waiting while we were inside and he had been waiting 5 minutes and the ladies never moved to begin to fix his drink which all that needs to be done is pour the pre-made drink into the ice filled cup. SMH! The dismay is how they look at us, customers, as if we are bugging and interrupting them. If you don't like your job, go elsewhere because you chose to work here. So do your job and work. Food: 5/5 Customer service here is 5/5 in the taco truck Drinks: 5/5 Atmosphere: feels a bit sketchy at times but it's almost. Place is always clean. Parking can be a pain. We come at night or during the day. It's 9:20pm right now and there are at least 25 people out here chillin and eating. My stars are based on the service. Otherwise this place would be 5 stars. I've been coming here for years and I don't know what it is with the women that end up working inside the drink area but they all, just ignore customers. It's really disappointing. The elote and treats are great. The drinks are amazing. I want to give 5 stars but it's hard with the continued service being the same year after year.

highkey the $5 equite might have been the best purchase of the month for me. ceviche was mid but the service was super fast + there was a random mariachi band just playing music the entire time at like 11 am on a thursday loved the vibes

Authentic delicious mexican food, tacos, ceviche and esquite!

The kim chi was surprisingly very good. Good amount of napa cabbage inside, rather chunky. It fulfilled my kim chi craving at $7. The second food truck, India Jones, served up some medium spicy hot fare. Great value for $8.50. Ordered a combo of lentil dal and vegetable korma, which came with a generous serving of basmati rice. Not too spicy hot, just enough to make me tear up a little. India Jones had the longest lines and people gushed about the food. I recently enjoyed a viewing of "Jurassic Park" during an Eat See Hear event at Los Angeles State Historic Park when I was first introduced to Snowie Icy Desserts Food Truck. Although I frequently attended, worked, or volunteered at the myriad of year-around events throughout Southern California, this was my very first encounter with this meals-on-wheels. If you knew me at all, I LOVED all-things Hawaiian and shave ice was one of my favorite things to eat even as a meal itself. Would all of this bode well or would I desert this truck for another!? PURCHASE Mango Watermelon Flavored Shave Ice ($5.00): On this sweltering day, nothing sounded better than shave ice. This fluffy mound of feathery soft ice was so delicate it started melting instantly. With an abundance of sweet mango and watermelon syrup throughout, you also had the option to add a drizzle of condensed milk on top and a scoop of ice cream at the bottom. This was edible art at a bargain price https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=wHErc9oORPDIJSEiUmXwng&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! SERVICE A friendly woman greeted me, quickly took my order, and minutes later my order was ready, all decked-out in its glorious colorfulness in a festive flower cup. All was chillin' - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance) Being a food truck, they were at the beck and call wherever the event was held. In this case, the event took place at a state park with plenty of paid parking, FREE and timed street parking along the main drag of Spring St. and surrounding side streets, or you GoMetro as I did to the Chinatown Gold Line Station. Another option was a driving service like a bus, taxi, Lyft, or Uber - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Your standard self-sufficient food truck with an exterior food menu, order and pick up windows, but no area for condiments, napkins, utensils, or designated seating area. Plenty of natural lighting was prevalent during the daytime while minimal electric park and streets glowed at night. There were no TVs unless you considered the movie screen and movie that played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=HTgLGqT9_BTSQMYyClmJvQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I loved the Snowie Icy Desserts Food Truck and would definitely seek them out again at the next event I attended or worked. Heck... I just might hire them for a private party (951-216-8752)! First and foremost, they sold the far-superior shave ice and not the much-inferior show cone because there is a very distinct difference. Although I only tasted two flavors, I wanted to try them all! One simple request would be to offer azuki beans, coconut, and jackfruit as additional toppings. The price, portion size, and service were perfect. And, if shave ice wasn't your thing as crazy as that sounded, they also sold ice cream and other simple sweet confections. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $5.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 5.0 STARS

I got to speak to Mike since one of his employees left. He verified my order, gave me napkins since it's not self serve and pointed out the ketchup and other condiments I think. I will have to admit that this burger is a bit saltier than what I would have liked, but if you balance out your bites to get enough lettuce and tomato within the ratio, it balances out the saltiness, but if there's the option to adjust it, I definitely would.
