I haven't been in here in over two years, so I was excited to stop by. We happened to be passing through, so we had to go. This street has tons of food trucks and other vendors, so you have options of what you can get. There was Asian food, other Latinx food, and more! There's something for everyone I think. I personally think this id the best birria spot. It is really the consome. It is flavorful and salty - makes the tacos so much better. We got a mulita and a taco. With the consome, it was about $12. Been here to the truck several times. Mostly at night around 730p-945p. Sometimes it's poppin with other food trucks crowding the street. This one is my preference and is stopped here before everyone else during the evenings. Same spot along the park side on Atlantic. *Note: There is a store front and there's a truck and each listed separately here on Yelp. I'm reviewing the truck. I have not been to their other store fronts. Birria tacos y consume! Always. Around $2/taco, reasonable it's shredded beef. We spend on average $15-22 for 2-3 people. VARIANCES that I've experienced with what I order: Sometime the consume had more salt but not salty or given more beef or more soup, not too much noticeable but this is not a paper bag spot with super consistencies like McD's etc. Average wait was 5-10 min depending. Maybe I get lucky sometimes I usually beat a crowd spurt. When I had to wait super longer then normal is because they are waiting/prepping on more meat. Happened to me rarely, like twice, and waited extra 30 min. We just hung out with the night life since we were on a late night much. Would be peeved if the street were empty tho. Cooks are nice, sometimes enthusiastic, sometimes the ladies but I don't hold that. They work in a truck all night. com'on. like take my order and feed me. Noteworthy they have 3 trucks and 2 restaurants, lynwood, paramount, montebello, commerce, so just search name to see whats closest. On my first two visits here I have nothing negitive to say, only minus was lots of people and long wait but it's fine if it's worth it, right? Short answer, yes it's worth the try and wait. Tacos were good and only $1.50 each, horchata was very good and was $3 for a big bottle, actually came back for another bottle the next day, line was big on that day to so I'm assuming it's regularly like that. I didn't buy a big cup of the birria soup but it's $12, guess that's worth noting, heard it's great tho, but I'll stick to just tacos. So let me start this review off with the fact that the birria is very good. The tacos are good, the quesatacos are tasty and the consome in general is also very meaty and tasty. I've tried almost everything on the menu and it's tasty so I recommend. Please be aware though that I had a negative experience yesterday. The lady that took my order gave me pretty horrible customer service. I almost felt like I was getting the food for free or something. She was rude, pushy (no one was behind me) and honestly she seemed like she didn't want to come to work. I will give them one more chance soon but as a paying customer I command to at least be treated with dignity. Its really good. I really recommend the tacos dorados and the quesotaco. They're delicious. My picky eater son approved the tacos also. My husband had the plato de birria and it was honestly good also. I tried it and you can tell the food was fresh. The salsa is very spicy so just beware of that if you dont eat a lot of hot sauce. Went in this morning excited to try there Birria ordered went to grab a seat table was dirty asked for someone to clean it so an older lady did everything was going fine. Did notice the lady washed her hands with the SAME gloves she cleaned the table with then she rang someone up exchanging money with the SAME gloves still then she moved on to the grill and touching tortillas and adding cheese to the grill with the SAME gloves. Let me start of by saying that their tacos and consomé are honestly one of the best in town. My complaint is regarding the service that is provided by the employees. PLEASE if you are the owner check up on your workers to make sure they're treating the customer right. I behoove you to send in a family or friend that your workers do not recognize so that they may give you honest feedback. As an owner of your establishment you should thrive to provide besides good food even better service so that your customers walk away with a great experience. Hands-down the best service I ever had in my life. The cashier makes you feel like family. Takes his time to walk out and hand you the food in person and make sure you have everything you need. I enjoy their food. It's juicy and flavorful. I think they're a little bit on the pricey side for tacos, but I guess birria isn't as common when it comes to tacos.
