I was super excited for another Mexican food restaurant in Spring Hill and really wanted to like this place, but it unfortunately fell short of my expectations. The tacos were good, not great. I had the Carnitas & Chorizo tacos. The chorizo was the best one, but you can't really go wrong with chorizo, as it comes with its own flavor. The carnitas didn't have much flavor in the meat itself. Once I added hot sauce, it was much better. The chips, served upon arrival are store-bought. Would be nice if they had their own chips and salsa. A homemade Mexican salsa recipe can make a restaurant famous Fortunately, I speak enough Spanish to communicate with our server. She didn't speak a lick of English, but the service was greatThat might be an issue for a born and bred Tennessean. The decor was a bit confusing for a Mexican restaurant. It fits right in with Middle Tennessee if we were in an American Cafe or breakfast spot. It's s just odd for a Mexican restaurant and takes away from their identity. My mom said her slice of cucumber tasted rotten and almost ruined her entire meal. Fortunately, I didn't try mine. The tables are a bit high for the chairs and I felt like I was sitting in a kiddie chair. I know they're fairly new but they have a long way to go to entice customers to return and spend their hard-earned money at their restaurant. I hope they get there! read more

By some distance, the best Mexican food in Middle Tennessee that I've tried. It's an authentic taco shop. I'm not sure what the rest of the menu is like but the tacos are excellent. Home made tortillas and fresh, flavorful toppings. The Guacamole bowl is really an excellent accompaniment. Service a little slow but hey, it's Tennessee baby, life is slower here. Cool vibe in the shop and the location feels a little off the beaten track for Spring Hill. read more

By far the best REAL Mexican tacos in the Mid TN area, just the way they should be. The owner, Jessy Bermudez is super friendly and cares for each and every order that goes out. This restaurant is located in a nice area with enough parking for all the businesses surrounding. Great music and friendly staff. I usually won't drive very far for any kind of food, but I will gladly drive from M'boro to Spring Hill for these tacos! read more

I have been searching for good, authentic Mexican food in the area for a few years. Everyone has their own opinion on what that means. If you are from the west coast, THIS IS THE SPOT! I have not enjoyed a Mexican restaurant as much as this place since I moved. Their service was great! You have to remember they have not been open long and this is their first restaurant, so there are some growing pains along the way. No doubt they will do great. BAD BAD BAD. The seating host was talking with another customer when I arrived. I was not acknowledged at all. He finally finished his chat and asked me how many. I said one and he dumped me at the only table in the seating lobby, 5 feet from the door. There were other tables in the actual dining room, but considering I was a single diner I think he did not value me as a customer at all. I sat and was able to read through the very large menu page by page, never being acknowledged again. No water, no chips, no salsa, not even an "I'll be right with you." I finally got up and left. I don't think they ever really knew I was there. I hate BAD SERVICE. This place has a long way to go. They need to learn BASIC customer service. read more

First time eating here and was very pleased. Tucked away in the shopping area where Early's Honey Stand is located on Main Street. Started with the complimentary chips and salsa. I had the beef fajita quesadilla with rice, refried beans and lettuce with a tomato slice. Very good and filling. I had enough to bring leftovers home for later. My husband had two tacos...a carne molida taco and a carnita taco. Waitresses very friendly and attentive. We definitely will return. Now they need a Facebook page with their menu to increase their business. read more

I saw someone say it was bland and not authentic which was hilarious considering this is very similar to the food from a small town in Jalisco, Mexico where we're from... This is the most authentic you can get in Spring Hill. You will never find another place that sells Gringas, Jericallas, Patitas de Puerco etc. Don't get me started on the Tortas de Lomo and the Tostadas de Lomo because I have never seen other places sell those and that's authentic in Jalisco where the owners are from. We had Nopales, the Gringa, Tacos de Tripa and Cabeza and one Tamal. The Tamal was soft and was amazing! It's close as authentic as it can get and it had actual decent meat in it and it was delicious! The Gringa I tried in Jalisco, Mexico in 2019 and I had not tried one since and finding a place that sells them 5 years later near where I live and they taste similar to what I tried in Mexico is just exceptional! The tacos were also so good since they were full of meat too and that's a good thing when it comes to tacos because a lot of places don't fill them with a lot of meat. Overall, service was top notch! I have to give them props on how hard they're working while being understaffed and I hope they grow and expand. 10/10 on the food we had that day and we'll definitely be coming back to try more things specially because I have not been able to find a restaurant like this read more

We moved from California a few years ago and have not been able to find legit Mexican food -- until now. We are here at least once a week! The chimichanga with el pastor and the el pastor tacos (like legit street tacos from cali) are the freaking BOMB. The chimichanga is amazing. Whatever you try, I recommend getting the el pastor, definitely the tastiest meat option they have by far. Love this place, and the staff are great too! read more

I don't really like posting negative reviews but this place didn't really give me the "I wanna come back here" vibes. In fact I wasn't even feeling the "I'd like to finish my food" vibes. I usually stick to my guns when it comes to Mexican food and order the same select foods. Surprisingly, I decided to branch out a little here. Having said that I will continue to be sticking to my guns from now on once again. That's just what I have to say about the food. In terms of service, well, let's just say that our server was a very nice but probably very new guy. The restaurant serves Pepsi products and he denied my request for a Mtn Dew since apparently they didn't have it. I then ordered a sweet tea, but checked the menu just to make sure once he left and yes, Mountain Dew was on the menu. I was going to ask him a question about a certain item on the menu, but gave that up when seeing that he didn't even know the drink orders. After this, he would make frequent stops to our table to check on us, which I appreciated, but he normally wouldn't follow through when actually asked to do something. He came out multiple times asking if we need anything and I'd say "refill please" and he gave the appearance to be on it, but never followed through with it. Eventually, somebody else came and gave me a refill so. I'm not gonna tell you not to go to this place but personally... it was not my favorite. read more

We dined here last night after hearing promising things on social media. It was moderately busy when we got there, we seated immediately. Service was so-so. My Spanish isn't great, the server's English wasn't either. I had to go grab my own silverware, as the server was in the weeds and unaware. We had chicken tacos and an asada burrito. Food came out quickly, but we were disappointed . No flavor. Chicken tacos were tasteless, my burrito wasn't much better and I was surprised that they served it with shoestring French fries ( after all I came for Mexican) . Btw the fries with basically raw, and the manager did bring me others slightly more done but still undercooked. To the owner I suggest offering more authentic tasty Mexican food , maybe you should do kitchen line checks, make sure your cooks are making things properly, plating them well. We may try your restaurant again and give you the benefit of the doubt. read more
